North End Farm is situated in the spectacular Dorset countryside, yet only a couple of miles from the Jurassic Coast, beaches, pubs, restaurants. Wonderful walks are available on and beyond the farm.
The Pavilion is a great place to rest and strike out from. The beach is 1.5 miles away. It is on a network of footpaths in the middle of it's own organic farmland. Bridport and Lyme Regis offer plenty of art and culture and are reknown for food, River Cottage and the Jurassic Coast. There is nothing better than being warm and cosy around the wood burner looking out at the great views. The Pavilion is good for couples, solo adventurers, art lovers, foodies and furry friends (pets)..

Off the beaten track on top of the Mendips in an area of outstanding natural beauty. A mixture of four acres of wild woodland, orchard and field set on a hillside. Our Yurt is set up in the trees giving you peaceful seclusion and a clear view across the sea to Wales and the mountains of the Brecon Beacons. A huge range of activities are possible or you can lie in the hammock with a good book. We have very friendly dogs and rescue chickens who may come and visit. Wild deer wander past in the early morning mist and the odd buzzard picks an argument with a bunch of crows but nothing much else should disturb you. We moved here after an 18 month search 8 years ago. It was close to everything we wanted and we've spent some time getting a bit closer.

We really loved the area and Tim was amazing, so helpful and kind. Full of knowledge about the area and places to visit.
Owners make the camping sometimes, but the views are breath taking.
We both will be coming back. Great location 20 mins from cheddar.

Amazing quiet spot (except for some noisy sheep!), plenty of space per pitch & lovely sea views. excellent shower and toilet facilities a very short walk away. Picnic bench and fire pit and wood provided. The tent itself was amazing - looked brand new, on a raised deck which kept it dry and clean & chairs to sit and watch the sun rise with a cuppa, comfy warm beds, rugs, blankets, hot water bottles all provided. Cute little “kitchen” hut with a gas hob and kettle and pans and crockery and cool box - everything we needed for a short break was thought of and provided. Great communication with the hosts beforehand as well. Would highly recommend and love to return if we’re in the area again.

Camping at The Batch was a tranquil and relaxing experience for a short get-away over the bank holiday weekend. The area itself is great for anyone wanting to visit surrounding locations (such as Cheddar and Wells), but also for people wanting to unwind amongst some stunning views. The badminton court gave us great entertainment, and in the summer there’s a TON of dragonfly’s by the orchard so we set to the impossible challenge of getting a non blurry photo, but never succeeded. The fire pits made for some great BBQ’s and source of heat while stargazing too!
However, the experience doesn’t stop at just the campsite itself. Tim takes great pride in maintaining the area and assisting everyone in anyway he can. From the offset he offered to help us move our equipment and to give us a tour of all on offer, including some fresh plums from his orchard! During pass by Tim would check in on us and ask how we were and what adventures we went on, but also to offer to help us with anything else we needed.
It’s fair to say the amazing site was taken to the next level from Tim’s great hospitality and super character. I would highly recommend and will definitely set pitch again! Hopefully next time I’ll get some better photos of the dragonfly’s!

We had a wonderful time here, with a beautiful seaside view and the added bonus of catching the sunset in a truly special way. The facilities were excellent – clean toilets, hot showers, and the option to buy a bundle of logs and a fire pit, which made the evenings extra enjoyable. It was also nice to have plenty of space between pitches, giving us a relaxed and comfortable stay. Everyone we met was very friendly and helpful, which added to the experience.
The only downside was the mobile network coverage – it only worked when we were close to the facilities, but there was no signal at the pitch itself, so it’s good to be prepared for that. Other than that, everything was perfect. Definitely 5 stars from us.

Incredible views. Off the beaten track. Some fantastic walks both ways on the SW Coastal Path.
Clean facilities and warm showers that don’t take away from the more wild feel of the place. What more could you ask for?!

The campsite overlooks a breathtaking view, quite remote from the busyness of life. Not ideal for surfing as need to drive a bit to a surf beach. However ideal to get away and unwind with nature and explore what the Tarka Trail has to offer . V clean and well looked after.

The view is spectacular and the site has easy access to coastal walkways and Heddon's Mouth. Great toilet/shower and washing up facilities - clearly well thought out and maintained. Will likely be back - it was also cool to go see the alpacas. We didn't stay here for the peak of the Perseids - but the night after and it was great star and meteor gazing!
Be mindful that the campsite is very open so it gets the wind! We had a teepee type tent (we were just car tripping around) and it was not suitable for wind exposure but nothing wild just to keep in mind!

The views are stunning and the surrounding nature made for a truly relaxing stay. There are alpacas on site, which was such a joy to see. The facilities were spotless, well-maintained, and had everything we needed, including hot water. You can really tell the hosts care about the place. Highly recommend,

Great campsite. Clean facilities. Lots of space with great views! Toilet is a bit of a walk though if you’re in the far field! The coast walk to heddons mouth beach is about 1 hour 10 min (with kids) but beware of the walk as my dog came back with 6 ticks!

best views i've seen at a campsite along the hillside overlooking some amazing cliffs with clean toilets and warm showers. It is very remote and takes about 10 minutes drive to get to the nearest cafe. maybe 15-20 mins to get to a shop! Main downside is being so up high on a cliff edge the wind was pretty relentless even on a nice warm summer day we were cold most of the trip and struggled to light a BBQ or fire. it made cooking and sitting out at night a bit of a pain and we ended up sheltering most of then night.

What an amazing campsite! Billy & Emma are wonderful hosts - as is Dad, Norman. Not only is it a beautiful site (seriously, wow!) it’s also safe, friendly and respectful. The toilets and showers were impeccable and my son was delighted by the new friends he made - the llamas. A lovely family run site where there are no bad spots and the energy is welcoming & calm. My son needed medication while we were away and Billy and Emma went above and beyond getting us use their personal space for refrigerated storage. Can’t rate this place highly enough, I’m sure we’ll be back xxx
