Roam this whole site and find Old Oak trees in our beautiful copse, 3 commercial fishing lakes to walk around, and a nature lake tucked away filled with lilies, birds darting in and around, and dragonflies to focus on and ground yourself.
Or just spend your time in our main wild orchard, this is filled with old apple trees wild flowers and has the Copse all down one side and mature tree lines on all the other 3. It is split in 4 so you have your own slice to enjoy with privacy and the feeling of seclusion and never many people on site at a time.
We have Robins rest which is our relaxation and hot tub area, this space is in the heart of the Orchard with comfy undercover seating for you to totally unwind, bird watch and relax. A 3hr session here is an additional £45.
The whole site has been designed to allow you to disconnect from the outside world and technology, to slow down and enjoy taking some time to connect with nature, yourself, and others in your group.
We call it camping with a touch of luxury. Our magnificent glamping pod is set in its own private field and surrounded by stunning oak trees and glorious barley fields. The site is a haven for a range of wild birds, from Woodpeckers to Kingfishers, making us the ideal holiday destination for nature lovers.
The well-equipped pod comes with a range of excellent facilities to suit all your needs. A kitchen area comes with a range of appliances including an oven, hobs, microwave, toaster and kettle. You can relax on the comfy corner sofa and there is a solid oak bar with stools. A comfortable double bed is the perfect place to rest your head at night. The en suite bathroom has a hot shower, basin, flushing toilet and a warm towel rail. Inside the pod there is electrical lights and a flat-screen TV.
Outside you can relax in the hot tub (available April - October) with a glass of wine whilst admiring the breathtaking views. A lovely terrace area also comes with seating. A BBQ is provided and a wooden fence encircles the pod to create a private and peaceful space. Opposite is an enclosed duck pond which is home to a range of ducks, as well as the occasional water-dwelling bird.

Sleeping arrangements are flexible for four people as there is an extra double bedroom in the garden room on the terrace or extra beds can be put in the yurt.
The walled garden sits away from but has access to The Brew Somerset with 25 acres of private land.
The Brew Somerset is a glamping and retreat site arranged around the spring-fed ponds. These ponds once served the Oakhill Brewery. Stout was first brewed in the village of Oakhill in 1767, using water which comes down from the Mendip Hills.
In the 18th century Oakhill Stout was thought to have ‘magical‘ healing properties. Now you can take a dip in these waters. The beady-eyed can spot kingfisher, heron, buzzard, kite, cormorant & much more in the way of wildlife.
Walled garden guests have access to this larger site in the afternoons, between 1pm and 5pm. The retreat site is not suitable for young children.
Coming soon: Don't miss the uniqueness of the pop-up off-grid spa with horse-trailer sauna, wood-fired hot tub and treatment tent. Enjoy a sauna or hot-tub whilst watching deer browse.....seriously! Booking essential.

We had SUCH a great time staying at Milton Farm Hideaway! We have visited several different glamping sites over the years and this one is by far the best equipped and has the most ideal set up. It's a gorgeous site, the accommodation is beautifully done and really comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom set ups are well thought out and have everything you could possibly need. We barely left the site because we were having such a nice time. We will definitely be back!!

Weekend Trip to Stairway to Devon - Huts & Tubs
We stayed at the Tarka Cabin for two nights and had a wonderful experience. Nathan and his family were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and accommodating throughout our stay.
The cabin itself is beautiful, with stunning views and a peaceful, private setting that made it the perfect place to relax. The hot tub was a real highlight and made our stay even more enjoyable.
We had an amazing time and would highly recommend Tarka Cabin to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway with qmazing views.

We loved Hazel roundhouse. The freindliest welcome. Excellent facilities, beautifully designed. Views of the rolling countryside are great and the setting is really natural, watching a barn owl swooping over the meadow at dusk was a highlight, as well as star-gazing from the hot tub. We had such an incredible time at Westland farm. The Shepard’s hut was perfect for a stay with two small children. It felt very private, and the gated garden area was perfect for our dog and children.
The views and sunsets were totally stunning, especially with the reservoir in the distance.

I came to Kingfisher (second time) with my daughter and new puppy during a spell of hot weather at the end of May. It was truly blissful - sitting in the shade of the big oak tree, listening to the vibrant bird sounds, swimming in the pond, reading, walking the puppy in the woods at the top. I completely unravelled and de-stressed. Jan has really done something special with this land. It is humming with life. The birdsong took my breath away. And I could let the puppy run free in our little glade. It was only a few weeks ago, and I miss it. Thank you Jan.

We had a wonderful weekend here. The indoor skate park is an incredible feature, and we had a great time in the tree net and playing big chess. We stayed in the lovely converted horsebox and it had everything we needed. I would happily visit again to stay for a weekend or along Offa's Dyke Path.

This shepherds hut was amazing! The poshest hut I have ever stayed in - really comfortable. Waking up to a cool breeze and the sounds of nature and a beautiful view was perfect. The wood fired hot tub was amazingly effective and once heated up with a fierce blaze on Friday stayed warm with a bit of topping up until Sunday. Highly recommended!

We loved our six-night stay in Buzzard Yurt with our 8 year old and all agreed it was our favourite glamping experience to date. The site is teeming with wildlife and the view from the yurt was beautiful. Facilities were very good - Jan seems to have thought of everything you could possibly need while not overdoing it, and it all felt very homely. The trampoline was much appreciated. Overall, it was an excellent combination of nature & fresh air alongside being sufficiently comfortable (bringing a child and various back ache problems, etc.) to enjoy it. The woodland nature reserve next door was also stunning in April. Thoroughly recommended.

Had an absolutely magical two night stay here for our anniversary. The bed is super comfy. The bath was so relaxing I'm afraid it might have ruined every other bath for me from here on out! The outdoor shower is superb, I've never felt so relaxed and energised.
The area is absolutely beautiful, we went for a walk on the gorgeous bluebell woods and the woodland commons.
Hostess was super friendly and helpful, I can't recommend it enough.

Weekend Trip to Jordans Estate Glamping
We had such a chilled weekend at the Stanley shepherds hut. Such a neatly and cleverly designed hut, we were very cosy.
We had fun making pizzas and toasting marshmallows.
Hot tub did take a long time to warm up the first night but the weather was against us- the second night was the opposite.
Great facilities and very easy to find off the road.
A warm welcome by our host who made sure we knew where everything was and had pre lit the hot tub fire for us!
Lovely touches like hot chocolate and marshmallows, fairy lights and drinks holder on the hot tub!

Weekend Trip to Westland Farm
My wife and I had an amazing time. The hut is situated in a lovely farm, next to a lovely little stream so you wake up with the peaceful sound of wildlife and the trickling of the stream. The hot tub is a nice touch. A little fire in the hut keeps the place cosy and warm. Will definitely be returning.

West Quantoxhead to Kilve Coast
This Blue Anchor coastline on the Bristol Channel boasts Jurassic fossils, rugged cliffs, and deep rock pools, ideal for a day’s exploring with curious kids or nature-loving adults. Several holiday parks and no-frills campgrounds offer a convenient base for coastal or inland adventure.
Crowcombe
Near the AONB’s western border, this charming village and its surrounding meadows are a rambler’s paradise, with the Quantock Greenway and Samaritans Way South West trails passing directly through. Caravan parks and traditional campgrounds can be found nearby.
Aisholt
Home to the ancient Aisholt Wood, this scenic region in the east of the Quantocks was a known haunt of English Romantics Coleridge and Wordsworth. The red deer endemic to the Quantocks can often be seen here or at the nearby Holford Kelting reserve. Camping options include no-frills farm sites, plus glamping and caravanning.
Broomfield
In the southerly reaches of the AONB, this hilltop parish is among the highest points in the Quantocks, with its hiking trails providing sweeping rural vistas. The wild garden at Fyne Court offers family-friendly outdoor fun, while wild-style campgrounds and luxury glampsites can be found not too far away.
Kingston St Mary
Right on the southern border of the Quantock Hills, this gateway parish is just a 5-minute drive from the county town of Taunton, which is linked directly by train to London, Plymouth, Leeds, and Cardiff. The South Quantock Heritage Trail ticks off most of the region’s main sights, and is best explored on foot, bike, or horseback. Eco lodges, farm camps, and caravan sites are all available in the vicinity.
