Join us at Lakeside Escape, a wild apple Orchard set next to Plantations Lakes. Roam this whole site and find Old Oak trees in our beautiful copse, 3 commercial fishing lakes to walk around, and a nature lake tucked away filled with lilies, birds darting in and around, and dragonflies to focus on and ground yourself. Or just spend your time in our main wild orchard, this is filled with old apple trees wild flowers and has the Copse all down one side and mature tree lines on all the other 3. It is split in 4 so you have your own slice to enjoy with privacy and the feeling of seclusion and never many people on site at a time. We have Robins rest which is our relaxation and hot tub area, this space is in the heart of the Orchard with comfy undercover seating for you to totally unwind, bird watch and relax. A 3hr session here is an additional £45. The whole site has been designed to allow you to disconnect from the outside world and technology, to slow down and enjoy taking some time to connect with nature, yourself, and others in your group. We call it camping with a touch of luxury. Enjoy a proper bed, mattress and seating and everything provided for your stay while getting that feeling of being in the heart of the countryside, going to sleep to stars by the fire pit and waking up to the rich birdsong. just bring clothes, towels and food!) The site is based in the village of Kingston Seymour, a lovely farming village with flat walks/cycles, sea wall to discover, multiple cafes to enjoy and just 10 minutes from the seaside town of Clevedon, or 30 minutes from Cheddar Gorge.

This beautiful wild apple Orchard is home to Apple and Oak trees that are more than a century old. Its mature environment is home to a rich abundance of wildlife, with walkways cut through long grass and wildflowers. Lay your picnic blanket down and watch the Skys, enjoy watching kites, buzzards and sparrow hawks flying above you and darting between the trees, you will find a rich abundance of smaller birds going about their daily life, including a range of Finches, Tits, Robins, and wrens, along with rarer birds, including the greater white throat and others. Owls can be heard through the night on site and sometimes seen in the day if you're very lucky! Deer roam through, and lots of wild bunnies enjoy frolicking in the grass. There's so much to see if you slow down and look for it. Finch Bell tent is nestled between 2 mature hedgerows, giving you a beautiful setting for your stay. This bell tent has everything you would need for your stay, just bring your clothes, towels and food. A coal fired BBQ and Fire pit is yours to use as you wish and you have your own sink and counter space for cooking. A Kettle and burner are provided for that morning cuppa. If booking a stay in Robins Rest, you can do this directly after your main booking. Every guest can enjoy complimentary fishing if you wish. On our main website you can order add on food from from locally sourced producers if you don't even want to think about bringing food. If fishing is your thing, you can pop next door to Plantations Lakes and enjoy complimentary fishing on either the Main Lake or Jubilee for every day you are with us (from 6.30am-9.30pm) Sundays you get a late check out of 4pm so you can really relax and enjoy your space.
