Quiet semi rural location close to the ancient township of Caerwys and within walking distance of Offas Dyke Path and local hillforts . Easily accessible off the A541 Mold-Denbigh road , 7 mins from J31 on A55 . A short 20-25 minute drive to the beach resorts of Talacre , Rhyl , Abergele and Prestatyn. The historic towns of Denbigh and Mold are only a 15 minute drive away as is Holywell and Flint . An ideal base to relax and unwind or if you wish to park up for the duration there is plenty of local walks from our gate to lakes and nature reserves in the area. On site you will have ensuite facilities in our luxurious Quarry Wagons with a covered outdoor veranda deck and an outdoor bath tub to relax and unwind under the dark skies. You will also have your own campfire and picnic area right outside and parking is provided adjacent to your unit . We have a secluded private hillside woodland with further areas to explore without even leaving the site . We are brand new for 2024 and will have 2 units onsite this year and plans in place for another 2 soon . In total we will have 4 camping pitches with direct connection for water , electric and lpg gas for all your heating cooking and bathing needs

The owner was very polite and welcoming… he showed me around … the campsite is good if you want to spend 1 or 2 nights close to nature… there is play area for kids as well …my overall experience was good … defined recommend it is your first camping trip like me…

The pod was nice, clean, and well-maintained, and although four pods were located in a row, it felt very private, largely due to large open field in front. Excellent location to visit Haddon Hall, less than 5 min drive.

We loved camping at Hazel Mount Fellside. The view was stunning and it felt more like a piece of nature with some scattered campsites than the opposite, which you most often find. Ruth was a very nice and welcoming host.

Really well laid out site. Quite steep in places with rough ground but fine if you are mobile. Toilet and shower facilities are excellent, as is the wash up area with phone charging facilities and shared fridges.
Fantastic base to explore the area, right next to the Thurscross reservoir.

Such a lovely spot. Very idyllic and private. Pitches were a decent distance from each other which was really nice - it was nice knowing other people were around but having your own private space. Dog friendly, which was brilliant - camped for the first time with our boy. He didn't like the owls! We will be back!

We had a wonderful time at Woodsworth Exploring - our kids loved camping in a woodland, and it is well-looked after and beautiful. You do have to walk in with your gear, but they provide wheelbarrows for you to use. Emma was very responsive and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and hope to come back sometime soon!

Just returning from our first visit to Cardewlees and we could not of asked for a better stay. Cardewlees is an absolute little gem of a campsite and Johnny could not have been a better host if he tried. It was our first time camping with our new teardrop camper and we definitely chose the right place! David was so lovely and helped me to reverse it onto the pitch. Due to bad reviews I expected the facilities to be dirty but they were far from it! Very clean and plenty of toilet roll!
As for the location, it’s amazing for people who love walking, we had a few hours walk down the canal and I definitely recommend walking across the road to the Riverside cafe for some lunch. Other than that there’s not much to do unless you want to drive into Stafford Centre but perfect for a quiet chilled couple of nights!
