Received a very warm welcome to our numbered & reserved pitch. A lovely quiet site, fantastic facilities lovely clean and hot showers and toilets. So quiet at night, we stayed in our campervan on an electric gravel pitch, really enjoyed our (1 night) stay. Castle Howard is generally beautiful also!

We absolutely loved our first stay campervanning at The Duchess’s Meadow. The location and views were beautiful, and the directions nice and clear.
In fact, all the detail provided on the "about" page is 100% spot on, especially "you’ll experience the best of both worlds — the calm of the countryside and the charm of a historic spa town, all from the comfort of your motorhome."
It really is the most perfect location, set in the woodlands for countryside walks, and just a short (10 mins) walk into Buxton. With electric and water hookup too as an added bonus, not to mention the tawny owls!
We had the place to ourselves but there is plenty of space available for 2 campervans / MHs at the same time.
Can't wait to return and hopefully stay longer next time! Thank you to Nick & Rachel.

Just spent three nights in our campervan at Wold Farm. We received a warm and friendly welcome and were invited to choose a pitch anywhere we fancied. It’s a nice, open site and the pitches are spacious. Toilets were clean with plenty of hot water. We knew there were no showers on site but would really have liked some!

We loved the look of the space with picnic table dotted about. Lots of water available along side the other facilities. Close to the heathland with lots of walks available. We will be back.

Brilliant site, lovely views. Perfect for launching kayak or a bit of wild swimming.
Stayed for 2 nights in our motorhome with dog.
Great pizza can on Friday evening with plant based options. Will definitely be coming back

Ease and convenience are the name of the game when camping. Pub is super close, definitely stop by after a hike for a pint and fries. We got to view our hiking spot from our tent. The hot water showers are a dream and the toilets are clean and well stocked. Site was not crowded and campers were quiet. For context, we stayed 29 and 30 August 2025. 10/10 would go back. Take coins for showers!

We camped in a lovely field, with amazing facilities. Clean showers with plentiful hot water, clean toilets and a washing up area. We had an electric pitch right on the edge of the fields with lovely views of the sunset. It wasn't very busy during our stay, so was very peaceful. Close to some great restaurants which were very child-friendly.
We paid extra for a campfire each night, but unfortunately, due to the strong winds on our 2nd night, we thought it would be safer to not use this! The campsite manager covered it for us to prevent it getting wet in any case.
Lovely place, would definitely stay here again!

Signage into and around the camp could be bigger and clearer for people driving and people never been there before.

My partner, dog and I had the best time camping for 3 nights in our tent box at The Hollies.
The toilets and showers were great and cleaned regularly.
The views from the top field were gorgeous!
Everyone was friendly and welcoming but also left you to it - the perfect balance for a relaxing trip.
The pizza/ burger van & cafe was a lovely touch to enjoy on the weekends. S’mores kit available to buy which were great for a late night treat around the fire pits available to rent for cheap!
There are plenty of beautiful walks nearby. We personally loved walking to the top of the roaches then enjoying the view of it from our campsite that same evening!
We throughly enjoyed our stay and would 1000% recommend.
