Weekend Trip to Greenoak Hideout
We had such a lovely stay at Greenoak. The hosts were so friendly and approachable and there were lots of lovely small touches that made the yurts feel homely and comfortable.
The log burners and electric blankets meant that we were warm over night and had a really comfortable sleep. We are looking forward to going in the Summer to be able to enjoy more daylight hours.
The boys (4 and 7) loved all of the friendly animals and the play equipment on the land, as well as the hot tub!
We will definitely book again and would recommend to our friends and family!
Thank you for a lovely stay and we look forward to visiting again next year!

Just spent three nights in our campervan at Wold Farm. We received a warm and friendly welcome and were invited to choose a pitch anywhere we fancied. It’s a nice, open site and the pitches are spacious. Toilets were clean with plenty of hot water. We knew there were no showers on site but would really have liked some!

The setting was just perfect for our family of five (including two dogs and a 4 year old). The Yurt was comfortable, clean and very cosy. The private shower and toilet facilities were great, as was the hot tub.
We had a trip to the local nature reserve during our stay, however think our daughter and the dogs were just as happy in the grounds with lots to explore, very friendly animals and lots of activities including trampoline and climbing walls.

I found the campsite easy to find, Margaret is lovely. I camped in the orchard with my tent. I enjoyed my stay and I was made to feel welcome. There is one toilet there near to reception and portable water. I would stay again and recommend it to,

This was our 2nd time at Butt Farm, and it definitely won’t be our last. We love it. The pitches are a great size. When we first arrived our allocated pitch had a tent on it but was quickly resolved, we were given 2 pitches to choose from. There are a few bbq’s which you can borrow free and fire pits for £12 per night including wood, which I think is very reasonable. Plenty of instant hot water for washing up. Fridge and freezers free to use. Nice toilets/showers, again with plenty of instant hot water (and music playing while you shower 😍). Oh and very free range eggs (chickens are loose on the site) for £2 for 6!! Brilliant. It’s only about 40 mins walk into Beverley. There’s really nothing to not like about this site. Would highly recommend. Will definitely return.

We’ve just had a lovely, long weekend camping, at Butt Farm.
It was so simple getting into site and set up, we recieved a text in the morning with instructions where to find our pitch.
As a family of 4, the kids were over the moon to have two goats, on the edge of the field, a free roaming chicken and site cat, which made staying on a working farm that bit more special for them.
The toilets/showers and sinks were always clean, which was lovely! The showers were big enough to have a spot to get dry in, with plenty of hooks for your clothes and toiletries, especially handy with the kids.
Jen was so helpful, with anything we needed.
Overall it was such a laid back, relaxing place to be! We even woke up to an Easter Sunday treat by our tent. Just looking around the site you can tell how much hard work Jen and Oly put In, to make sure it’s a lovely place to be!

We had a lovely pre-Christmas stay and would highly recommend! The yurt was beautiful inside, spotless and had all the essentials.
The beds were super comfy and the electric blanket helped keep us warm in the night. Mini fridge, small dining area and plenty of blankets for the colder nights. The bathroom facilities were also spotless and we all had fantastic hot showers which were very much appreciated.
Kids loved seeing the donkeys in the mornings and there were plenty of outdoor toys for them to play with.
We travelled into York both days which was about a 35 minute drive. Nearby towns had plenty of takeaways etc.
Would 100% visit again!
