Vehicles are not allowed to park on the camping field, but parking is provided a stone’s throw away. Wheelbarrows are provided to help you get your kit from car to tent. Countryside walks and cycle paths lead directly from your pitch. There are several pubs in the local area – the nearest being 10 minutes’ stroll away. We have a tea room on site, open Thursday - Sunday 10am-3pm. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate for caravans. Nearby attractions include the Jurrasic Coast, quaint market towns and local pubs serving farm fresh food and local seafood. Enjoy River Cottage HQ for a cookery course and get a taste of local cuisine. Also near by is Lyme Regis driving range, golf course and foot-golf. If you fancy exploring Lyme Regis, take the park and ride which is within a short walking distance South of the farm. If walking is more your thing, there is an abundance of local footpaths including the south west coastal path, with Lyme Regis just 1 mile away. Our amenities include flushing toilets and hot water shower blocks. A designated space is avaliable for washing dirty dishes. Be advised that only cold water is provided. BBQ's are permitted; however, they must raised off the ground to prevent damage to the grass. Bricks will be provided for this purpose. Please note that campfires are now allowed at this time. We are a family run farm situated in the beautiful Frome valley. The farm has a range of interests from the traditional Jersey milking cows to a community of workshops used by local craftsmen. The cafe serves cream teas from Easter to the end of September and pizzas are sold in evenings during the summer months. Ours is a small family run camp site with the River Frome on one side, next to the medieval buildings of Stowford Farm. The river is suitable for fishing, boating, swimming and paddling. Historic Bradford-on-Avon is only a 5 minute drive and the City of Bath 15 minutes. For those who enjoy more rural pleasures, 200 metres from the campsite Farleigh Hungerford boasts the only river swimming club in the country, and you can become an instant member for a very small fee.

We had the most incredible time at Charlotte’s campsite—it felt like our own little slice of paradise. From start to finish, Charlotte was brilliant with communication, making sure we had everything we needed. The site itself is stunning, boasting a spectacular view and massive fields. Our three sausage dogs had the absolute time of their lives here: Cabbage spent the entire day sniffing around, Chutney never tired of playing fetch, and good old Dinky was happily following them both. It was the perfect, safe space for them to explore. Even during an awful heatwave, this place excelled. Charlotte provided ice-cold water on-site, and thanks to the scorching sun all day, the huge bucket we brought along (plus our water bags) heated up perfectly. It meant we were even able to enjoy a lovely warm wash once the evening cooled down a bit! Charlotte also went above and beyond by providing extra equipment from the huts that we hadn't brought with us, including folding chairs and tables. To top it all off, the raised fire pit was wonderful in the evening for roasting treats and keeping us warm as the night set in. If you are looking for a place to slow down, unwind, and focus on the small things, this is it. We couldn't recommend Charlotte’s site enough!

The campsite was clean a visitors mostly respectful. Remember to bring your 50p for the shower and liked the set up. Unfortunately, there was a group who were making loads of noise all night on the second day. It would be cool if someone was around to get them to turn it down or maybe a number to call. Just some feedback to consider. Other than that had a great stay and would recommend.

This was a beautiful piece of land on a hill with a spectacular view! It was the first camping trip for me and a friend, and we had a great time - just enough amenities to make everything straightforward, but not so many that it feels like glamping. There was a great supply of firewood, and the loo was very civilised. The road leading up to the place is rather bumpy, so be wary if you have low suspension on your car!

Management are nice and helpful and aware. The field is soft and relatively even. Some areas are shaded, which is good to avoid baking yourself and your things. The shaded area is within audible distance of a main road, however. The showers have better water pressure than most houses. The toilets are standard porta-loos. There are various recycling bins and a place to donate unwanted or broken camping equipment for re-use, which is a great. I booked this place because it was the cheapest in the area, but it far exceeded expectations. I think the only real downside is that next door is an active farm, so if you are vegan beware there are sheep grazing there. Unfortunately almost every campsite in the UK is in the same situation. I would stay there again.

A lovely large field, mostly flat, with tall trees to the west, so the setting sun doesn't bake your tent all evening. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Facilities - all clean and serviceable and located at the site entrance: Toilets are Portaloos, plenty of them. There are 4 handbasins (unscreened). There are 3 showers in cubicles, which at times resulted in queues. Hot coal bins for BBQs. Drinking water points across the site.
