A very warm welcome to our guests at Little Eden, a restful and relaxing, riverside campsite for tents and campervans with grass pitches. We’re in a great spot if you love fishing, kayaking, gorge walking, cycling, seasides, fossil hunting, wild swimming, fell running, bird watching, archaeology or even Viking history! We are 9 miles from the mystical Glastonbury Abbey and Tor and directly on a Sustrans 33 cycle path route. The River Brue runs alongside the campsite with damsel flies fluttering by and kingfishers darting back and forth. We are on the Somerset levels so the sunsets are amazing as well as night time stargazing. We have a private, wooden jetty where you can launch your own paddle board. It’s a perfect get away for campers and nature lovers. Bring your own raised BBQs and logs or buy firewood on site. A family run campsite around 30 miles south of Bristol on the banks of the River Brue, it has a relaxed vibe and we try to keep things simple and straight forward. It’s ideal for doing some day trips nearby, then lighting the BBQ and playing Frisbee (games box you are most welcome to use). Shower and toilet, drinking water, washing-up sink in garden kitchenette. Our big sister site is just 4 miles away, and the café bar at 'Wall Eden Farm' serves fantastic coffee, cake, and family-made Somerset cider. If looking for classic countryside pub meal The Duck at Burtle and The Bird at Westhay are local favourites, be sure to book! Tucked away on a quiet Somerset lane at the foot of the Mendip Hills, The Hemingway's Field is a fully private, fully fenced paddock available for exclusive hire — meaning the whole space is yours and yours alone. Wake up to birdsong with Bleadon Hill as your backdrop. Take the dogs straight out from the gate, the field is completely enclosed and secure. Watch the stars from a Somerset sky with almost no light pollution. Then head out in the morning to the beach at Weston-super-Mare (4 miles), up to Crook Peak for a ridge walk (3 miles), through Cheddar Gorge, or along the traffic-free Strawberry Line trail. Easy access for large caravans and vehicles. The gate has fit 7m caravans through it, but we have kept it at 6.5m (as it was a slight squeeze). Happy to talk about removing the gate for bigger vehicles. Water is available on site via a hosepipe. Please note that there are no toilet facilities, so guests need to be self-contained. This is a back-to-basics outdoor experience with one important luxury: privacy. No shared facilities. No campsite neighbours. No noise. Just your family or your group and five acres of quiet Somerset countryside. The field sits alongside two neighbouring paddocks occasionally used by local farmers, you may spot a friendly face or two, and sometimes a horse or two as well. If any animals are in residence during your stay, we'll give you a heads-up in advance. Guests are also welcome to explore our acre of woodland, which connects to the top paddocks, a lovely spot for an early morning wander and some cool exploring. We are a family run farm situated in the beautiful Frome valley. The farm has a range of interests from the traditional Jersey milking cows to a community of workshops used by local craftsmen. The cafe serves cream teas from Easter to the end of September and pizzas are sold in evenings during the summer months. Ours is a small family run camp site with the River Frome on one side, next to the medieval buildings of Stowford Farm. The river is suitable for fishing, boating, swimming and paddling. Historic Bradford-on-Avon is only a 5 minute drive and the City of Bath 15 minutes. For those who enjoy more rural pleasures, 200 metres from the campsite Farleigh Hungerford boasts the only river swimming club in the country, and you can become an instant member for a very small fee.

With your own spacious camping spot, enjoy the panoramic views of the rolling hills of Lyme Regis. We provide generous grass only pitches for tents and camper-vans. These are unpowered sites. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate for caravans. Nearby attractions include the Jurrasic Coast, quaint market towns and local pubs serving farm fresh food and local seafood. Enjoy River Cottage HQ for a cookery course and get a taste of local cuisine. Also near by is Lyme Regis driving range, golf course and foot-golf. If you fancy exploring Lyme Regis, take the park and ride which is within a short walking distance South of the farm. Our amenities include flushing toilets and hot water shower blocks. A designated space is avaliable for washing dirty dishes. Be advised that only cold water is provided. A lovely space, very peaceful and quiet yet conveniently 10 minutes away from Weston Super Mare. Enclosed field where we could switch off and unwind, great for our dogs to mooch around freely as well. A couple of mown areas to camp and a mown path around field would’ve been appreciated as grass really quite long at the time of our visit, weren’t able to stroll around easily. The neighbouring horses were very sweet. Would stay again, thank you ☺️

Management are nice and helpful and aware. The field is soft and relatively even. Some areas are shaded, which is good to avoid baking yourself and your things. The shaded area is within audible distance of a main road, however. The showers have better water pressure than most houses. The toilets are standard porta-loos. There are various recycling bins and a place to donate unwanted or broken camping equipment for re-use, which is a great. I booked this place because it was the cheapest in the area, but it far exceeded expectations. I think the only real downside is that next door is an active farm, so if you are vegan beware there are sheep grazing there. Unfortunately almost every campsite in the UK is in the same situation. I would stay there again.

A lovely large field, mostly flat, with tall trees to the west, so the setting sun doesn't bake your tent all evening. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Facilities - all clean and serviceable and located at the site entrance: Toilets are Portaloos, plenty of them. There are 4 handbasins (unscreened). There are 3 showers in cubicles, which at times resulted in queues. Hot coal bins for BBQs. Drinking water points across the site.

If you're looking to relax and soak up nature this is a beautiful spot on the edge of the forest. We stayed in a Bell Tent with lovely extras with some nice fruit tea bags and sugar stir sticks. Everything looked brand new. Very clean showers and toilet blocks - modern and fresh. Nothing was too much trouble - don't normally camp but I would have been happy for a week with a good book but sadly could only stay one night :-(

We really loved our time at Wookey Farm, the large pitches were the perfect amount of segregation from others (we were all adults so wanted a chilled out time), we had electricity loved having fire which there was a designated place for, and could park at our pitch. Our hosts were really lovely and kept everything clean and looking great, the animals and place to paddle were an added bonus. The name board on arrival was a really nice touch and everyone was really respectful who were staying there too. Solar showers in the future would be great, as that’s the only thing we really missed! Great place to stay all with in a few miles of Wells, Cheddae, Glasto and even the coast.
