The campsite supports the 1000-year-old Chantry Farm in the South Downs National Park on Wolstonbury Hill with 3 listed Bronze Age earthworks. Spacious grass pitches with a small nearby carpark and wheelbarrows for transport to keep the camping meadow like a meadow.. and then the Skyline Cabin which has the perfect blend of luxury with back to basics.. There are some lovely local pubs, the Plough has a great range of food and is a short walk. Nature spontaneously provides blackberries, sloes.. which are shared. The Barn Owl have their own boxes (although they still enjoy the big barn) and skylarks sing high above the tussocky terrain. Come join them! Even if your singing isn't so good.

Wonderful stay at this rustic retreat! The hot tub was easy to use, super comfortable bed, and (very) nearby pub was delicious - even a free community curry night one evening. We were also able to charge our phones at the pub and send a quick text since the site didn't have sockets/cell service (not a bad thing just something to note)! Unlimited wood and quick responses from Duncan made this an extremely smooth-sailing glamping retreat! Extremely private-feeling as well. Will definitely return for another needed city escape :)

Beautiful treehouse on a stunning land, surrounded by oak trees and hazel trees. It has everything one needs. I loved my stay at the Tree House! Lots of trails nearby to hike! Beautiful campsite! It was so well maintained and cleaned by Alex. She was so friendly, welcoming and easy to reach! The showers are gas powered so there was hot water, plus they had a wonderful view - such a luxury! The glamping tent was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately the fire ban had come in before we arrived however this had no effect on our stay! Thank you so much we had a wonderful stay ❤️

It’s a lovely place with nice tents and things to do for the kids. My little one is 3 years old and she loved the bell tent and the hammocks and badminton. The cafe is lovely too. We live in London and it was very easy to reach with public transport. Maybe bring some ear plugs because you will hear airplanes.

The outdoor bath, the refreshing morning cold plunge, the campfire and watching the stars at night, before waking up to a beautiful sunrise with a sheep having their breakfast right next to the cabin made it very special. Beautiful setting. The tents were set up inside so comfortably, shower and toilet block clean and beautifully rustic with gorgeous smelling soap and shampoo etc. Added bonus of having the firepit available with added safety precautions with current dry conditions. Great onsite cafe. So close to great walks and pubs too. Would very much recommend to friends.

Lovely peaceful paddock with a really comfortable double bed in our bell tent. Great hot showers and good facilities. We also enjoyed the hammock and swing chairs and stopping by to say hello to the chickens in the mornings! Very close to the beautiful beach at Seasalter and we really enjoyed our oysters in Whitstable too. A lovely relaxing few days, would recommend.

A fantastic place we never knew was there, just down the road from us. We wanted a couple of days away but didn’t want to travel far so this was ideal and close to the stables we were going to to ride. We felt a million miles away. We had such a lovely stay here and would definitely recommend it. The accommodation was comfortable , well equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. It was peaceful, private, and the perfect place to switch off for a couple of days. The hot tub was a real highlight, especially in the evening, and the whole setting felt really well looked after. Communication from the host was excellent, with clear instructions and a smooth check-in process. We had a fantastic experience from start to finish and would definitely recommend staying here.
