We offer a selection of bell tents or you can bring your own tent. The camping is set across 2 fields and extends to 12 acres. We have a maximum of 30 tents so it is never crowded. Come and meet the alpacas, sheep, pigs, goats and horses! We also have a small fishing lake which guests are welcome to use for a small donation. We restocked last year and there are carp and several species of smaller silver fish. It is ideal for beginners and children. Any children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. My experience at fleet paddock was everything I had hoped for and more all the facilities were clean and well kept , I shared the family bell tent with friends and it had everything we needed for a memorable evening, the campsite was pretty busy but still maintained a peaceful family vibe, I would highly recommend this camping site to anyone wanting to escape the chaos of city life and connect with nature. For me the highlight was the clear sky's at night which revealed the most stars I have ever seen it was amazing 👏 🤩

The bed was very comfortable-we slept like at home.Evrythink was clean and well maintained,you can really tell the place is taken care of.The host was super friendly and checked into make sure we hade evrything we needed. Weekend Trip to Setts Wood Camping and Glamping

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the campsite, and came back home feeling relaxed. The nearest town is 7-8 minutes drive in case one needs groceries (big Waitrose). The camp site has a big pond to chill by. Also, all tents are evenly spaced out so everyone has their privacy. Toilets were clean and well maintained. The camp site is so well maintained- and the provision of kettle and microwave oven was a big hit. We plan to return with our friends soon.

I can’t recommend this camping site enough. Nestled within 90 acres of serene, open land, it offers a truly secluded escape from the noise and chaos of everyday life. The setting is stunning – peaceful, untouched, and expansive – with total freedom to roam and unwind. Georgina and Max are exceptional hosts. They’ve thought of absolutely everything, and their attention to detail shows in every corner of the site. From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and clearly explained. They’ve created that perfect sweet spot between traditional camping and glamping – you get the authentic outdoorsy experience without compromising on convenience or comfort. From essentials to thoughtful extras, everything you could possibly need has been provided. It’s clear they’ve poured a lot of love and effort into making this a truly special place. There were zero issues – no noise, no disturbances – just nature, calm, and comfort. I’ll absolutely be coming back, and I recommend this place wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a proper, well-balanced camping getaway.

Lovely glamp/campsite with great amenities and close to Canterbury. We had a great time and our bell tent came with bed and bedding, lights, crockery, camp stove and kettle. Small kitchen on site with a shared fridge. Hot showers, fresh toilets. Tastefully done. Rustic but cute and fully functional. Would highly recommend. Loved the fact you can order logs, kindling, matches etc direct with your booking. We’ll be back.

We had a brilliant stay at the campsite late April, we had the whole place to ourselves which was lovely, however it would still be brilliant with other fellow campers! Claire and her partner were brilliant and friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. The campsite has charming decor and lots of solar powered fairy lights which was lovely when it got dark! The rooms were nicely decorated and a good space for three people! The view was beautiful and they had lots of nice pubs, walks and farm shops close by! I will be recommending this place to all my friends! 10/10

Where to go

North Sea Coast

Kent’s 10 Blue Flag beaches all lie along the north shore. The south-eastern resorts of Margate, Ramsgate, and Broadstairs draw beachgoers and surfers throughout the summer months, but if you can brave the cold, you’ll catch the biggest swells in winter. Further west, the pebble beaches and colorful beach huts paint a pretty picture at Herne Bay and Whitstable, while the Isle of Sheppey has a wide choice of beachside camping and caravan parks.

South Coast

South of Ramsgate, white chalk cliffs, rocky coves, and shingle beaches stretch along the shores of the English Channel. The headline act is the White Cliffs of Dover, home to one of England’s most rewarding coastal hikes. Further south, Folkestone is a favorite for summer campers and caravanners, while the Romney marshes are popular with walkers and bird-watchers.

East Kent
