There is also a host of National Trust sites within a short drive including Sissinghurst Castle and many wonderful villages to visit including medieval Biddenden and the magical market town of Tenterden. Next to junction 8 of the M20 there is also Leeds Castle, only a 20 minute drive from Far and Away and the Big Cat Sanctuary is only a few fields away. At night you can hear the roar of the wild cats really making it feel like you are Far and Away!

Fit in the Wild is a furnished bell tent on the grounds of Homestall Manor, a Grade II* listed medieval Tudor estate in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, West Sussex.
Wake up to 28 acres of formal gardens, ponds, woodland, and views across the Sussex countryside. Step outside your tent and walking trails into Ashdown Forest from the gate.
Tennis and padel courts are available for guests throughout your stay, as well as the grounds for outdoor exercise, yoga, or simply sitting still for five minutes.
Your tent is a bell tent with a two single beds, cotton linen, rugs, lighting, and a side table.
Toilets and hot showers are available on site. Three miles from East Grinstead station with direct trains to London Bridge and Victoria.

We look forward to welcoming you to Setts Wood Farm and will provide you with all you need for a relaxing and rewarding visit to Tenterden and The Weald.
We offer a selection of bell tents or you can bring your own tent. The camping is set across 2 fields and extends to 12 acres. We have a maximum of 30 tents so it is never crowded.
Come and meet the alpacas, sheep, pigs, goats and horses!
We also have a small fishing lake which guests are welcome to use for a small donation. We restocked last year and there are carp and several species of smaller silver fish. It is ideal for beginners and children. Any children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Setts Wood Farm is perfectly positioned to explore Tenterden and the surrounding villages, and is less than a 20 minute drive to the historic town of Rye, with the beaches of Camber, Dymchurch and Littlestone just a few minutes further.

Here, a small flock of sheep graze as part of an ongoing project to restore a wildflower meadow. Lovely peaceful paddock with a really comfortable double bed in our bell tent. Great hot showers and good facilities. We also enjoyed the hammock and swing chairs and stopping by to say hello to the chickens in the mornings! Very close to the beautiful beach at Seasalter and we really enjoyed our oysters in Whitstable too. A lovely relaxing few days, would recommend.

My experience at fleet paddock was everything I had hoped for and more all the facilities were clean and well kept , I shared the family bell tent with friends and it had everything we needed for a memorable evening, the campsite was pretty busy but still maintained a peaceful family vibe, I would highly recommend this camping site to anyone wanting to escape the chaos of city life and connect with nature.
For me the highlight was the clear sky's at night which revealed the most stars I have ever seen it was amazing 👏 🤩

The bed was very comfortable-we slept like at home.Evrythink was clean and well maintained,you can really tell the place is taken care of.The host was super friendly and checked into make sure we hade evrything we needed. We're really happy we found this place. Definitely planing to come back next summer-or even earlier if it weather nice.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the campsite, and came back home feeling relaxed. The nearest town is 7-8 minutes drive in case one needs groceries (big Waitrose).
The camp site has a big pond to chill by. Also, all tents are evenly spaced out so everyone has their privacy. Toilets were clean and well maintained.
The camp site is so well maintained- and the provision of kettle and microwave oven was a big hit.
We plan to return with our friends soon.

North Sea Coast
Kent’s 10 Blue Flag beaches all lie along the north shore. The south-eastern resorts of Margate, Ramsgate, and Broadstairs draw beachgoers and surfers throughout the summer months, but if you can brave the cold, you’ll catch the biggest swells in winter.
