We are a family run farm situated in the beautiful Frome valley. The farm has a range of interests from the traditional Jersey milking cows to a community of workshops used by local craftsmen. The cafe serves cream teas from Easter to the end of September and pizzas are sold in evenings during the summer months.
Ours is a small family run camp site with the River Frome on one side, next to the medieval buildings of Stowford Farm. The river is suitable for fishing, boating, swimming and paddling. Historic Bradford-on-Avon is only a 5 minute drive and the City of Bath 15 minutes. For those who enjoy more rural pleasures, 200 metres from the campsite Farleigh Hungerford boasts the only river swimming club in the country, and you can become an instant member for a very small fee.

There is a footpath running alongside it taking you 25 minutes to a village shop one way and 20 minutes to a good pub the other way, all across fields. There are some amazing walks to do from the site, and being on the edge of the cotswolds there are plenty of pretty villages and market towns to explore. Had a lovely stay over may bank holiday. A warm welcome from the owners and staff, nice areas to pitch right next to the river. We also enjoyed cream teas in the garden and bought the bbq pack and breakfast pack which were delicious. Lovely ducks and chicken and a lovely walk along the river. Nice cider too . Clean and tidy toilets and shower blocks with plenty of hot water. Overall a lovely place to visit and will definitely book again soon.

This place is a gem. It’s in the forest, super peaceful, and the pitches are literally 3 steps from the water. I’m not exaggerating you could fish from your tent.
Really easy to find too, which is great because my sense of direction is about as reliable as a chocolate teapot. And if you’re the type to forget tent pegs, gas, or, I don’t know, actual food like me, the shop’s only 5 mins away. Saved my bacon. Literally I forgot bacon.
The river and the owls double as white noise during the night drowning out anything else. Slept like a rock.
