Weekend Trip to Greenoak Hideout

We had such a lovely stay at Greenoak. The hosts were so friendly and approachable and there were lots of lovely small touches that made the yurts feel homely and comfortable. The log burners and electric blankets meant that we were warm over night and had a really comfortable sleep. We are looking forward to going in the Summer to be able to enjoy more daylight hours. The boys (4 and 7) loved all of the friendly animals and the play equipment on the land, as well as the hot tub! We will definitely book again and would recommend to our friends and family! Thank you for a lovely stay and we look forward to visiting again next year!

Weekend Trip to The Orchard at Fen End Farm

We can only recommend this sweet little camp site in the middle of the orchard. We stayed in a bell tent for the weekend with our 7 year old son. The tent is cosy with a lovely wood burner. There is a communal hut kitchen with all ustensiles and board games! We enjoyed all the fire-pit and the honesty box to buy wood logs etc.

Weekend Trip to Greenoak Hideout

The setting was just perfect for our family of five (including two dogs and a 4 year old). The Yurt was comfortable, clean and very cosy. The private shower and toilet facilities were great, as was the hot tub. We had a trip to the local nature reserve during our stay, however think our daughter and the dogs were just as happy in the grounds with lots to explore, very friendly animals and lots of activities including trampoline and climbing walls. Spotlessly clean, the showers and facilities were as good as at home, the extra added thoughtfulness of clean bath mats tea towels washing up liquid and lots of toilet paper and hand towel and soap. My shepherds hut was delightful, and yet again everything I needed with the welcoming cream tea, milk, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, spotlessly clean as everywhere was. The windmill, the bakery, the café, my grandchildren loved the animals and the play area. There is absolutely not a thing I can think of that was not perfect. Oh I forgot to mention the games room. We had a fantastic weekend at Sarah's camping yurt accommodation, Sarah was an absolutely fantastic hosts, allowing us to check in an hour later and let us take our time on departure. Me and my partner loved spending a couple of nights at Fen End Farm. Our bell tent was lovely, toilets and showers were clean, kitchen space was well equipped and the farm and orchard were beautiful. Vicky and Amy were kind and helpful and the camp had a very peaceful atmosphere. Efficient self service logs and kindling and easy to buy local produce such as lollies made from apple juice from the orchard. Try the Fen End cider it’s delicious!!

We stayed one night at Waterbury Farm and it was pure bliss. The camping shed was cozy and clean, with the kettle in a separate shed—making the sleeping space feel roomy. The highlight was the hot tub, perfectly placed for stunning sunset views. Soaking under the stars in total peace was unforgettable. A calm, beautiful escape with thoughtful touches and lovely hosts. 4 nights at Bircham Windmill

The pitches are a really good size so you don't feel on top of each other. It is a small site, which is a bonus. The shepherd's hut was really comfortable with lots of thoughtful touches and a cream tea to welcome you. The site is very pretty and sitting in the morning with a cup of tea looking at the windmill and seeing the horse, donkey, lambs and chicken was a wonderful start to the day.
