Next door, open 4 nights a week is our quiet country pub The Lion Inn serving amazing homemade food and takeaway pizzas. Deep in the Welsh countryside situated on The Pilgrims Way, we offer spectacular views within easy reach of Snowdonia and the Welsh coast. Local attractions include Zip World, Betws-Y-Coed, Conwy, lots of castles and Beautiful beaches. We offer lots of home comforts, including a super comfy double bed with TV/DVD player on the mezzanine level where although there is restricted headroom, the view is definately worth it! Downstairs there is a small sofa bed and tea and coffee making facilities, fridge, microwave and toaster, plates and cutlery provided and ensuite shower room. Towels and bedding also provided. Easy to find, we have one parking space next to Y LLew Bach and plenty of space for another car opposite. We're surrounded by fields, sheep, cows and the odd pheasant and we're very dog friendly. Please note there are no shops in the village, though there is a little hut Y Cwt which stocks fresh eggs, milk, yogurts, ice cream and cakes and is just a short walk from thr cottage. The nearest small shop is 10 minutes away in the local town of Llanwrst offers a supermarket, take aways and cafes, a lovely river and even a swimming pool!

Weekend Trip to Greenoak Hideout

We had such a lovely stay at Greenoak. The hosts were so friendly and approachable and there were lots of lovely small touches that made the yurts feel homely and comfortable. The log burners and electric blankets meant that we were warm over night and had a really comfortable sleep. We are looking forward to going in the Summer to be able to enjoy more daylight hours. The boys (4 and 7) loved all of the friendly animals and the play equipment on the land, as well as the hot tub! We will definitely book again and would recommend to our friends and family! Thank you for a lovely stay and we look forward to visiting again next year!

Weekend Trip to Greenoak Hideout

The setting was just perfect for our family of five (including two dogs and a 4 year old). The Yurt was comfortable, clean and very cosy. The private shower and toilet facilities were great, as was the hot tub. We had a trip to the local nature reserve during our stay, however think our daughter and the dogs were just as happy in the grounds with lots to explore, very friendly animals and lots of activities including trampoline and climbing walls. Our stay at Over the Moon was absolutely perfect. Ruth was super friendly and gave clear instructions on how to find them, and replied quickly to any questions. The location is beautiful and incredibly peaceful. The hut had everything we needed and the bed was huge and very comfortable. We can’t wait to come stay again!

We had a lovely stay at Little Ranch. Rod made us feel so welcome and our daughter loved exploring the farm and meeting the animals. The hut is beautifully designed being both spacious and and cosy, with everything you need to relax and enjoy your stay. The little extras on arrival really made it special. We enjoyed some nice walks along the canal, evenings toasting marshmallows by the fire and just really appreciated the peaceful location. We highly recommend Little Ranch and hope to be back again soon!
