Animal-mad campers, form an orderly queue please, as this 329-acre farm has several attractions up its sleeve for you, including meet-and-greets with pigs and ponies, lamb feeding in spring and deer safaris. All Rosehip Wood’s pitches are family friendly and allow BBQs and campfires.
Your hosts invite you to wander along mown paths, through grassy clearings and wildflowers. The woodland has been planted with lots of nuts and fruits for both wildlife and humans to enjoy. As the sun sets, unwind, and enjoy starlit skies unspoilt by light pollution against the distant calls and barks of local wildlife.
The site has no lighting so don’t forget your torch if you plan on an evening amble. Downham Market is around 4 ½ miles away offering supermarkets, a market, food and drink in the town’s historic pubs and a range of restaurants. It also has a train station from which your hosts will be happy to pick you up if you are coming camping without a car. If you need an extra tent this can be rented at an extra cost.

I needed a few days of peace and .Canal Camping delivered. A flat site with hedges and unmowed grass providing gaps between the large pitches. Lovely staff and spotless loos, showers and washing up station. Rules stating no music and quiet after 10pm means the loudest sound is the birds (expect a deafening dawn chorus). Right on the canal so you can kayak all the way to the Northern Broads, and near the Weavers Way for pleasant walking.

Really lovely site. Peaceful. Facilities very clean and well kept and done in a beautiful rustic style. Owners friendly. Easy environment to talk with fellow campers. We went for a walk from the campsite and it was really nice. You have to walk along the road first but then you get to a lovely waterway. Very picturesque with geese and their babies.

We loved our time here, the location was a perfect mix of private and close to the ideal spots in the Broads. The amenities were simple but really well mantained and modern. The firewood and braziers were a lovely touch. Safe to say, we’ll definitely be back.

Great stay at Plum Camping! It’s well-maintained with a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, nice space, and plenty of firepits for a campfire in the evenings. Love the easy self-service setup. Just be aware there is a bit of road noise, some of the showers were cold, and it was a shame the farm shop was shut Sunday and Monday. Still highly recommend!

This was our 3rd year staying and we'll be coming again. We are always impressed by the cleanliness of the site and facilities. The little shop has all you need. We love that we can hire fire pits and purchase wood. The site is also great for kids, with our boys easily making friends to play with. It was very hot this year, so we spent a lot of time in the nearby woods, den building. Thoroughly recommend this site! We plan to be back next year 🥰

Its a great place to stay and use as a base if visiting Norfolk, within easy reach of superstores and A47.
However, the White House Farm Village shops were not open on Sunday and Monday on a Bank Holiday weekend, this didnt affect our stay but was a bit of a disappointment.
Overall a good site and would definitely use again.

However, White House Farm Village shops were closed saturday and sunday on a bank holiday weekend which while it didnt affect us was a bit disappointing.
