2 nights at North Norfolk Camping & Glamping

The hut had everything we needed for a few days off grid and the location was so peaceful! I would thoroughly recommend! The weather was chilly but the log burner was more than enough to keep us warm and cosy. The kitchenette included a fridge and hob and the essential utensils and plenty of logs were provided.

Weekend Trip to Wardley Hill Campsite

Lovely site with everything you need. There are a variety of pitch areas, some in more open field, some sheltered by trees and some in the woodland area. Some of the pitches in the open field are a little close together so pick a quieter weekend or arrive early if you’re after more privacy. This was in spring when the grassy meadow sections were still short though. Washing drum fire pits were brilliant. Showers decent and owners very friendly.

1 night at The Barn KT9

An idyllic setting, beautifully kitted out bell tents, great facilities - Weber bbq, firepit, deck chairs to relax and enjoy the views, delicious coffee and pastries - excellent service all around. What a gem of a place! Thank you to Charlie and team for a memorable visit

3 nights at Wardley Hill Campsite

We loved the campsite! It was quiet and rural, and within easy reach of all the lovely beaches of Suffolk. Joe was very welcoming and really helpful wit my lots of recommendations of what to do, good pubs and nice walks. The facilities were basic, but that suited us fine.

Weekend Trip to The Nut Plat Retreat

We had such a lovely stay in the nut plat. The bedroom cabin was clean and cosy and we loved just relaxing, cooking and jumping in the hot tub as soon as the sun went down. We found the hot tub very easy to use with Duncan providing unlimited wood. The first time we lit it, it took a few hours to heat up but it retains its heat well and on the following days needed much less time to be ready. Duncan mostly left us alone but was very welcoming and even posted my speaker back to me which I left in the cabin. Would definitely recommend :)

Weekend Trip to Hunstanton Camping & Glamping

Close to beach. Next to the Norfolk Coastal walk. Nigel met us on arrival. Introduced to the dogs and chickens (and spotted a fluffy cat). We loved the relaxed air of the camp field but everything looks like it’s in a state of building or maintenance! Which, to be fair Nigel said they were renovating the barn to accommodate more indoor campers. We had ‘camper van with awning’ as we brought our own bell tent, there were more of this type, one shepherds hut in the same field and at least three other shepherds huts secluded behind the barn. There is the potential for four washing up sinks - only one had water working. Toilet block with three male, three female loos and hand washing. Two showers - also in this block. Side of the barn was also showers and single toilets with two stand alone basins outside. Water points everywhere. We used electric hook up which was good and consistent. WiFi was also working where we were, only used it for the radio though. Some hard standing was a bit dubious with the hard core having glass and pottery mixed in. We brought bicycles and really had to watch where we pushed them. Overall, loved the rustic camp ground, would hope the hard standing would be sorted out soon. Would recommend.

Thank you Charlie for a lovely stay. The plot was very well located, and amenities excellent. We enjoyed a lovely walk and coffee before heading home. There is a pub nearby, which was walkable and good. The only thing we weren’t so keen on was the sound from the clay pigeon shooting next door in the morning! But would definitely come back!

A fantastic cosy, quiet and romantic cabin, perfect for a little weekend getaway. The hosts are super accommodating and responsive but are also very respectful of your privacy. We arrived with both the fireplace inside and the hot tub fire already roaring. A fantastic experience overall would recommend to anyone! And easy enough to access by just public transport if you don't want to drive :))

Came for a short break away from work and degree stress. Planned to go on some nice walks with the dog but the weather was awful. So ended up staying in by the log burner, reading our books and crochet. I did also manage to get the hot tub HOT ♨️ one day, took a few rounds of restocking the fire but once we got there, it then got so hot I had to add some cold! So worth it! There is good WiFi available so manged to watch a few films in the evening. Might be back for one of my reading weeks when I need minimal distractions! 😂

We are a rural former dairy farm by the beach, there are free-ranging chickens and cockerels and they may make farmyard sounds, if you are a light sleeper, be sure to bring earplugs :) GLAMPERS PLEASE NOTE The Glamping Kitchenette is suitable for making small quick meals with the use of a microwave, oven & stove for cooking and grilling and a toaster and kettle, there is also a fridge provided. Showers and toilets are shared with the campsite with the exception of gas powered outside showers that are solely for glampers. We are a VERY dog-friendly venue, we welcome dogs and muddy boots and host many hikers and explorers of the Norfolk Coast, although every care has been taken to ensure very clean accommodation, it is possible that a dog hair or 2 escapes our conscientious eye, please bear this in mind and let us know should you find anything you are not happy with, we will get our housekeeping team to deal with the issue swiftly! Please note that the Glamping Bell Tents and Glamping Shepherds Huts are for 2 adults only with the exception of 1 Adult and 1 Child with prior consent from us, they are not suitable for under 2's and do not come with facilities for children or babies.
