Views were gorgeous, spots were well laid out. Encourages a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, everyone we came across was lovely. Toilets were lovely which we were not expecting!! So many great features to this campsite including the little shop. Has everything you could need. Absolutely loved it.

Peaceful campsite with spacious pitches. Beautiful skies at night, birds singing in the morning, fire pits with grills supplied, clean showers and flushing toilets. The walk to the pub was lovely and the roast there was incredible.
Paul's a hospitable and friendly host too. Many thanks for a memorable weekend.

We had a lovely stay, the campsite was beautiful and had everything we needed! The facilities are great, and the bucket showers were a lot of fun (as well as the nice hot showers next to them!).
There was lots of space between the tents so you felt like you had your own area, and the surrounding area was great to go for a walk or drive to some lovely beaches.
Maria & Raf were lovely and welcoming - we will definitely be back next year :)

Lovely campsite, loads of space for kids to roam, beautiful views over the valley, great facilities - the compost toilets, showers and washing up area were all clean and well maintained. Maria and Raf were delightful and super chilled about, for example, another family joining us one evening for a bbq. Would definitely go back.

Had a wonderful stay, at Housedean, a wonderful location for hitting Brighton Eastbourne and Lewes. Great walk from the site and lovely friendly accommodating staff.

Our first camping, but thanks to this place it is not the last, wonderful place, the landscape is wonderful even at sunset, it is beautiful and clean at night, I can only recommend it to all dog owners, we will come back too 🙏🏻

Housedean Farm is a lovely site in the rolling hills of the South Downs and I'd recommend it.
I'd also recommend booking directly with the site rather than through Hipcamp who will not stop emailing me. I need one email when I book a campsite - the booking confirmation. No matter if you opt out of marketing emails, you'll get at least five unnecessary emails as follows:
"Enhance your trip with extras"
"Your trip is coming up! Here's who's onboard."
"Reminder for your trip to Grass Pitch"
"Time to pack your bags!"
"What did you think of Housedean Farm Campsite?"
