Weekend Trip to Wold Farm Caravan and Camping Site

Just spent three nights in our campervan at Wold Farm. We received a warm and friendly welcome and were invited to choose a pitch anywhere we fancied. It’s a nice, open site and the pitches are spacious. Toilets were clean with plenty of hot water. We knew there were no showers on site but would really have liked some!

I found the campsite easy to find, Margaret is lovely. I camped in the orchard with my tent. I enjoyed my stay and I was made to feel welcome. There is one toilet there near to reception and portable water. I would stay again and recommend it to, Thank you Margaret 😀

4 nights at Butt Farm, Beverley

This was our 2nd time at Butt Farm, and it definitely won’t be our last. We love it. The pitches are a great size. When we first arrived our allocated pitch had a tent on it but was quickly resolved, we were given 2 pitches to choose from. There are a few bbq’s which you can borrow free and fire pits for £12 per night including wood, which I think is very reasonable. Plenty of instant hot water for washing up. Fridge and freezers free to use. Nice toilets/showers, again with plenty of instant hot water (and music playing while you shower 😍). Oh and very free range eggs (chickens are loose on the site) for £2 for 6!! Brilliant. It’s only about 40 mins walk into Beverley. There’s really nothing to not like about this site. Would highly recommend. Will definitely return.

2 nights at Castle Howard Lakeside Holiday Park

A lovely small campsite with plenty of space. Facilities were clean and not overcrowded washing up had hot water and there was a freezer for ice packs too. Showers were hot too and a good pressure. Signal was not as bad as we’d been led to believe 4G could be found in the camping field although not in the facility block. A really nice place to stay and well worth checking out Castle Howard itself while you’re there, fascinating place.
