Spacious pitches and complete peace. That’s what you get at West End Field, a back-to-basics site five minutes’ drive from Ulrome village and several North Sea beaches in East Yorkshire. Facilities at this nearly wild pop-up site include drinking water and chemical waste facilities. You'll need to pack torches and batteries, along with all your camping gear. Pitches are nice and flat, and approached by a mown track across the two-acre field. The site is very dog-friendly too (the owners have their own), and you can exercise your pets on Barmston Beach (five minutes’ drive/15 minutes’ walk). There’s a small store and a pub in Skipsea (five minutes), and a fish and chip shop down on the beach (also five minutes). For more serious shopping sprees, the historic market town of Beverley is half an hour’s drive away. Days out exploring the region might take in the comic antics of the puffins at Royal Society for the Protection of Birds-owned Bempton Cliffs (25 minutes). There are spectacular walks and cycle rides along rugged east-coast cliffs, and seaside fun to be had in Bridlington (15 minutes) amusement arcades.Spacious pitches and complete peace.
