Learn more about this land: One can expect a wonderful wilderness experience at Earthganic Farm’s riverside camping. The path down to the sites is drivable in a truck, SUV, or van. There’s always the option to park up at the house and walk down (it’s a ten minute walk from the house to the river) and if you let us know ahead of time, we can bring your camping stuff down for you. We have two single kayaks that we rent for $15/day and you can put them in right on property and kayak up and down the river. There are walking/dirt biking trails through pine forest and nice hardwoods down by the river. The brave can take dips in the river. Just down the street there is a boat access ramp for canoes, kayaks, and flat bottom boats.

One can expect a wonderful wilderness experience at Earthganic Farm’s primitive camping. The path down to the sites is drivable in a truck, SUV, or van (we have had people go down in sports cars and we’ve made it down in our Nissan Versa but recommend vehicles with more clearance). There’s always the option to park up at the house and walk down (it’s a ten minute walk from the house to the river) and if you let us know ahead of time, we can bring your camping stuff down for you. We have two single kayaks that we rent for $15/day and you can put them in right on property and kayak up and down the river. We also just got an inflatable double that we rent for $30/day. The brave can take dips in the river. Just down the street there is a boat access ramp for canoes, kayaks, and flat bottom boats. The campsite right on the river is now reserved for our glamping guests (we have a “treehouse” platform with a spacious safari tent at that site). And the primitive camping site is a little down river and set back in a picturesque area of the woods :)

Enjoy our “treehouse”/safari tent overlooking the river. You can skip packing and setting up a tent and bedding yet still get a camping experience. You will have complete privacy at your site (Our house is a ten minute walk from the river where there’s a spigot to fill up on water) . It is furnished with a queen bed and a cordaroy bean bag that unfolds to a full bed. Compost toilet and hot shower coming soon! We also rent kayaks which you can easily get in and out of the water right at our property. If the river is flowing fast after heavy rain, you can float down to the public boat ramp just under a mile down river and we can pick you up! The treehouse can accommodate 4 people, if you want to set up a tent in addition to the treehouse tent, you may do so and the site can then accommodate up to 8! We expect guests to follow rules of “leave no trace” and pack up their trash/recycling when they leave. Also, while we typically open up the windows and doors before guests arrival (unless it’s raining) to get fresh air flowing, it is important guests zip up the door & zip up the two windows on either side of the tent from the OUTSIDE before leaving or if it rains during your stay. Zipping up the windows on the inside does not protect the tent from rain. While pets are allowed on the property/at the campsite, pets are NOT allowed in the tent. Please remove shoes before entering the tent.

Perfect stay
Glamping on the river!
My boyfriend and I camped for 2 nights in the yurt and it was simply amazing. You can rent kayaks and launch nearby the site. There is a firepit and the yurt is comfortable and cool. We will definitely be back!

Glamping on the river!
This was our 3rd trip to this spot, and we’re already planning our next trip. The host (Victoria) has put in so much effort to make this a perfect spot. Privacy, Kayaking, fishing, swimming, relaxing, what more can you ask. If you’re thinking about it, book it, this place is awesome!

We loved tent camping at Victoria and her family place. They are so attentive and very friendly. We can't wait to come back. It was very peaceful and relaxing...the birds and crickets chirping, the sound of the river. The nice secluded area was just perfect and you're still close enough to town if should need anything. They are way beyond the level of five star hosts and their kids are amazing as well!!!

Glamping on the river!
My son and I camp what I consider a lot. We mostly stay in the upstate of SC, the mountains of NE Georgia and the southern mountains of NC. When I tell you this is the perfect campsite I honestly mean it. To be fair, the title “Glamping” may be an exaggeration but this is one of my favorite campsites to date! The Hosts were kind, and helpful. The entire family were just perfect hosts. The site is nestled back in the woods right against the Saluda River. High clearance 2wd will mostly likely be enough to get in or out in most all weather conditions. The tent has a very comfortable mattress and a bean bag contraption that I believe folds out in to another bed. The tent itself is a wonderful guide series (99% sure) Cabelas canvas tent. The best part is that the tent sits around 8 feet above the flat sandy ground which creates a perfect lounging area and kitchen where there is a “fish cleaning table” and running water. Toward the river you will find a level and sand fire pit area with several seats available overlooking the river! All in all this place is absolutely perfect and we will be returning in the future!

Their place was amazing! Very peaceful! They were excellent in accommodating any needs. Very nice and great hosts! I would recommend anyone that has a passion for outdoors to check them out. You will not be disappointed!

We loved the site. The host was able to accommodate us in short notice. The site has a small access area to the saluda river and we were able to fish there. The site is isolated and not very far away from Greenville. Would recommend.

❤️ Our Time Glamping on the River!
Glamping on the river!
We loved Glamping on the river! Victoria showed us down to the site when we arrived. It was so nice to not have to pack and set up a tent. The tent was great, it rained all night and didn't get wet at all. The bed was super comfortable and all everything was set up when we go there. We were able to put our kayaks in at the site. It is a muddy input site but wasn't bad until it started raining. Then we had a pretty funny mud bath 😄 There is a boat dock and kayak launch a mile down the road. Spent two great days kayaking up and down the river. The next site over is a good bit away and covered by trees so felt very secluded. I caught a catfish! Had a amazing time just being by the fire and the river. Thanks Victoria! *The camping toilet is pretty small and short so if you don't squat well you may want to bring another one lol Also note you have to climb a regular ladder to get up and down to the tent which wasn't an issue for us since we are in ladders a lot lol

My eleven year old and I enjoyed Victoria’s site very much. We enjoy primitive camping and always look for a spot on water to fish. This place did not disappoint. With the convenience of renting kayaks we decided not to bring our own. The Saluda had a very slow current and was perfect for my son to paddle up the river and fish. The fire pit included a rack to cook on and there were lots of sticks and small logs to have a fire. We were there during the week and no one was at the treehouse so they were kind enough to let us camp riverfront. The actual camping spot that we booked was up a little from the river maybe 50 foot but nice wide trail down to the river and it had plenty of trees between the two sites to have plenty of privacy. Both sites are large and would do for groups. After having a peak at the treehouse I’m ready to plan my next kayaking adventure and kayak down for an overnight or two. I will definitely refer to my kayaking friends. I felt safe and slept until after 8 which I hardly ever do. I loved falling asleep to the owls, crickets and frogs. This is a great find and I look forward to coming back.

I absolutely loved camping on Victorias Primitive land by the Saluda. It was a fantastic little get away from reality and was easy to relax to the sound of the river and nature. We brought floats to float down the river in and there’s a boat dock about a mile down the road. It took about 2 1/2 hours to get down the river because the currant wasn’t very strong. Fishing was easily my favorite part though. You can catch bream, crappie, blue gill, and catfish in this little area. We are definitely going to be coming back.

What a fantastic way to spend my Memorial Day weekend! Victoria and her family were fantastic, the camping location was private and scenic, and they have the sweetest, most amazing doggos that greet you when you arrive! We can't wait to return.

We had a great time tent camping on Victoria’s land! It is secluded and peaceful. GPS brought us straight to her house. The camp site is cleared off enough to set up a big camp, while also being completely surrounded by nature. I loved the long dirt road that leads to camp especially since we were escorted by Victoria and her son on their tractor:) The cook book was a pleasure to read. I enjoyed leaving my memory in it.
