Camp grounds are well maintained grass paddocks surrounded by beautiful picturesque scenery. Amazing stay at Misty Mountain Farm Stay 🌿🐴🐄 Beautiful spacious campsites with plenty of room and privacy — and when we visited it was nice and quiet. Waking up surrounded by horses, cows and rolling farmland was something special. One of the best parts was being able to walk to Coolangatta Estate Winery for a wine tasting 🍷 and then head to the dog-friendly Seven Mile Beach just 5 minutes away so Dash could run around and enjoy himself too 🐶 Had an amazing time and will definitely be back again.

This is a wonderful campsite. Came with my partner, both new to camping with him being reluctant at first. He loved it. Wide open fields, mowed down with the greenest pastures surrounded by mountains and trees. Even though you’re on somebody’s farm, you still feel like you’re on your own. You cant even see the owner’s house, or hear other campers. The sun peaks through every evening and when it does it’s beautiful. You’re a close drive to the towns Nowra and Berry, with a Winery within eye shot. Amazing wine there. Theres not toilet or shower but there’s portable water and we made it work. We came back for more. Thank you kerren, for helping us start our first fire and giving us firewood. We had a great time on your farm, and it will be in my heart. Misty mountain farm is the reason I want to continue camping, and explore even more of Australia’s coastline. This place unlocked something in me and my partner. Thank you!

Campsites are well distanced apart, lush green grass for a tent setup, portable drinking water is a great added benefit as well as the supply of firewood (Mark tractor’s around/ checks in). The view is gorgeous with the occasional visit from 3 horses that reside there. It was a well needed recharge and the Misty Mountain Farm was a great spot to accommodate.

Kerren was a lovely, welcoming host. I had brought my horse and was shown to a secure paddock with water. Views were wonderful. Easy access to Shoalhaven Heads to the club and beach.

Our stay over the long weekend was quite disappointing. The campsites were extremely small and positioned very close to each other, which was not what we expected from a farm setting where you would typically anticipate more space and privacy. Fortunately, we managed to relocate to a spot about 100–200 metres away from others, which made things slightly more manageable, but without that option it would have been very difficult for a larger group like ours. For the price we paid, the lack of basic amenities was also concerning—there were no toilets, showers, or bins available, which is something most campsites usually provide as a minimum. We were told that firewood could be purchased, but when we drove to the indicated area to get supplies, the owner was unhappy with us doing so and approached us in a confrontational manner. Throughout our stay, it also felt like we were being closely monitored, with the owner repeatedly checking on us to confirm the number of people in our group. At one point, while we were waiting for friends who had driven offsite to dispose of rubbish to return, we were told that we needed to leave the farm. This left some of us stranded without a car, having to walk and wait, and overall made us feel very unwelcome, as though we were being pushed out. Overall, the experience was not pleasant and did not meet expectations given the cost and setting.

Had a great time over the Easter break. The campsite is well maintained, with plenty of lush green space to enjoy. However, prices seem to almost double during the holiday period. Also, as it’s quite close to the road, you can hear passing traffic at times. Other than that, I'd recommend esp if you don't want to drive long distance from Sydney.

We absolutely loved our stay at Misty Mountain Farm Stay! From the moment we arrived, Kerren and Mark went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They were incredibly accommodating and made such a genuine effort with our boys, which meant so much to us as a family. The property itself is simply stunning — the sunsets and sunrises are unforgettable, and the peaceful, private setting makes it the ultimate place to switch off and reconnect. It truly feels like a hidden gem. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend for families or anyone looking for a beautiful, quiet escape, Thankyou both!!

Kerren is a wonderful host and her property is stunning. It was easy to fine and very convenient- close to Berry, Nowra, kangaroo valley, and Gerringong. Also very close to great little wineries. Kerren also offered a pony ride to our three year old son who absolutely loved it. Would definitely recommend staying here.

What a stunning place to pull up, set up a tent or campervan, sit under the sky, the stars, on the soft grass. Admiring and taking in the views of the surrounding mountains, trees, horses, cows and bird life. I loved this spot, it’s magical. Kerren and Mark are awesome hosts too!

We loved our 4 day stay at Kerren’s paddock. We were a group of 7 with 3 caravans and a trooper. With no facilities other than a tap for drink water and fire pits, it was perfect for us. Beautiful outlook to the mountain, with cows and horses in adjoining paddocks. Very quiet and a great alternative to a caravan park. Close to wineries and shops and Berry only a 10 min drive. Our hosts were very accommodating. Would definitely recommend.
