Park near main road and camp close to your vehicle. Or park and pack down deeper into the woods for a wilderness adventure. The property has sloped and shelved areas. Chose your spot. We book one group at a time, to provide a private camping experience. Sky-Flyer Special First driveway at the galvanized farm gate. Watch for a painted shipping container and vintage van. Vehicles of 30’ will fit here. Additional parking available on both sides of the driveway. This is a lighted area with a fire ring and some seating. The RV House Second and third driveway is a pull through with small green gates. Long vehicles may easily enter and exit here. Several choices for parking, including one under shelter. Here is a covered deck, grill and fireplace. The Rusty Gate Last entrance to the west. This drive can accommodate vehicles of 40' or less. Here is a fire ring, some outdoor seating and several flat areas for tents. When requesting a stay, let us know what kind of experience you are looking for, so we may accommodate you. It is a working cattle farm on 160 beautiful acres with frontage along the Irons Fork River in the beautiful Ouachita Mountains. Our adjoining property is our zipline and amphitheater facilty, The Blue; zipline and Farm. Venture off the farm to take advantage of the plethora of things to do; canoeing, boating, ATV trails, hunting, state parks, National Forest, antiquing, rock hounding, and more. The creek runs along the backside of a 40 acre plot, all of which you are welcome to explore for swimming holes and waterfalls! In addition, we considered a dark-friendly campground, which means at night, the skies come alive with stars, constellations, and a view of the Milky Way. Learn more about this land: We are a new 2021 RV park located in Big Fork, AR, 20 miles east of Mena and 30 miles south of Mt. Ida. We have 5 pull-through sites with full hook-ups. Sites are very spacious at 75' x 20' plus picnic, firepit, and seating areas. Guests have private access to the Big Fork Creek with swimming holes and waterfalls. We are also located near the Wolf Pen Gap ATV trails, and guests can ride directly to the trails from their RV site. Local rental companies are available for anyone not wanting to bring their own ATVs. There is plenty of overflow parking for trailers for those that do bring their own on the property as well.

Weekend Trip to Kiamichi Mounds

I loved my time spent on Drue’s property! Not only was he extremely helpful, but his property is very well cared for! They also gave me the most delicious bright orange eggs!!! Anytime I noticed I forgot something or had a question, I got a message with a solution right away. There is enough land that you can really be comfortable here and have a nice secluded peaceful time. Many oaks on the property and even oak firewood!! There was even a kindling pile ready to go when I arrived— there are a lot of small details like that. It’s a real treat and a great weekend if you like fishing, kayaking, birdwatching, or just hanging out! Definitely recommend it 😇 !!

I loved tent camping on Shelley's land. It is a working cattle ranch, zip line course and concert venue. I camped at site 1 right at the ponds edge. Only 10 minutes to Mena. Very quiet. Very friendly pups. Fishing was fantastic. Lots of stars and a few falling ones too!

Weekend Trip to Buffalo Tree Ranch

Loved staying at Buffalo Tree Ranch! The owner was super accommodating, even with my last minute reservation, and communication was great. It’s only about 40 minutes from the Ouchita NF. So if you’re planning on running some trails on the Oklahoma side but don’t want to worry about finding camp, this place is perfect for you. Very private and very little traffic noise after dark. I’m definitely going to stay here again.

My experience here was 1000/10!! If you love everything nature I highly recommend this campsite. The owner answered every single one of my questions, & in a timely manner. There was so much to explore close by & at the campsite. A big plus for my stay was having the Wolfpen ATV trails close by. If you have ATVs i highly highly recommend staying here. & even if you don’t you can always rent them. I have a deep love for nature, specifically trees & waterfalls. Here you get the best of both worlds. The swimming hole has a decent size waterfall, it was so breathtaking! Right by camp 5 there is a path that takes you to the creek it is so beautiful. The full hookups for the RV were very convenient & a big plus in my stay. Upon arrival the owner brought firewood to our site which was amazing. It was very easy pulling in and out of the site as well. If you do stay here to experience the ATV trails I highly recommend going to little Mo falls & off the trails there’s a string of breathtaking waterfalls you can swim in (it’s down the windy hill to the right on the way to little Mo falls) If you don’t have ATVs you can also drive a car to Little Mo falls. The Big fork mall/cafe is very close to the campsite. They helped us out with directions/ navigating the ATV trails & getting to Little Mo falls.

The bath house is a great addition; very roomy and water as hot as you'd like! The inside of the cabin had a very rustic charm to it which I loved! The owner stopped by amd was the nicest lady. We will definitely be returning to this property.

Weekend Trip to Kiamichi Mounds

This place is awesome! First the host was great. Answered any questions i had and was very quick to communicate. The location is beautiful and peaceful right on the banks of the river with easy access to the water w a gravel bar and rock outcroppings. You have plenty of privacy and seclusion but it is only 5 min to town so very convenient too. They had fishing poles to use and i caught a fish on my 2nd cast. The area was all mowed around camp and very clean. There was a canoe and kayaks to use, a bbq grill to cook on, a fire pit with a fire already setup and plenty of firewood provided. The camper is older but perfectly clean and comfortable. Plenty of space to set up tents too. Drue and his family obviously put a lot of effort into setting this up and making sure i had everything i could need. I’ll definitely be back.

Weekend Trip to Lakeside Point

This place was absolutely beautiful! When we first turned onto the property, the views were breathtaking—the mountains, the water, and the lush greenery all around. We stayed in the tiny cabin, which doesn’t look like much from the outside but is incredibly cozy and charming on the inside. It had a very comfy bed, a microwave, a refrigerator, a coffee maker, and a full bathroom. If you’re looking for a sweet little cabin getaway where you can be surrounded by nature but still have the comfort of a roof over your head, this is perfect! It’s the perfect opportunity to really unplug and enjoy some quality time with your partner or family. Plus we saw a deer, some rabbits, an eagle and lots of cute birds. The hosts were wonderful and very accommodating. We absolutely loved the whole experience and would highly recommend it to anyone considering staying here!

Weekend Trip to Heaven's Gate RV and Retreat

We had an incredible time on our trip to Heaven's Gate. We are hikers- not riders- so we weren't sure if it would be a great fit for us but it really was. The trails out here are gorgeous and the folks are all real welcoming and friendly. Bridgitte, our camp host, was more than accommodating and made the experience even more beautiful than it already was on its own. She makes breakfast on request and dinner on Fridays and Saturdays, all delicious (we missed Sunday brunch but heard great things about it). She even brought us her personal microwave from her own home when the one in our cabin sparked and stopped working. Bridgitte is the kind of camp host that makes you want to leave your cabin a little extra clean when you leave. This is a phenomenal place for all different kinds of people who crave getting out into nature. We loved every bit of the experience and cannot wait to go back; truly worth the drive no matter where you're coming from. Heaven's Gate is a great place for your dog, too- we brought ours and he was just elated the entire time. He loved it just about as much as we did. He will be returning with us in the summer!!

Eagle Drive Campground

The Eagle Drive camping area was a great spot, not too busy at all (even on a beautiful spring weekend) and easy to access. Beautiful scenery and just steps from the lake!

we also stayed at Reasoner point. It could have been a very good campsite, unfortunately someone had smashed glass bottles everywhere, and had left about 2 trash bags full of beer cans. This is what made the spot undesirable, but drove to some other places on the drive and didn't run into the same problem.

Eagle Drive Campground

This was my first time to Hochatown State Park and I loved it. I've been to the adjacent Beaver's Bend State Park which is also beautiful, but this park has a little less traffic and you feel a bit more isolated which I love. I suggest the Reasoner Point along Eagle Drive for a more secluded camping spot.
