Willow Lane Farm is a Heritage Breed Poultry farm that runs a small rescue/sanctuary for livestock. The Main farm is situated on 60 acres which backs onto crown land. There's open fields, forest, wetlands and paddocks full of all sorts of animals. Towards the back, there's several small ponds and a river that runs through the property. Located in the north east corner of Sudbury, in the town of Hanmer, Ontario. Sudbury is known as the Blueberry Capitol. The small mining town has grown into a good sized city which is situated in a crater. It's prime location is a haven for geologists, blueberry pickers, snowmobilers, and fishermen. With over 50 lakes close by, and lots of ATV/sled trails, it's a great recreational place with lots to do or sit back and enjoy the peaceful scenery. Animals are welcomed. And Paddock space is available for Horses, riders and eventers looking for a place to stop over, rest or excersize their livestock. Learn more about this land: Welcome to our family-friendly farm! We are open year-round and are located in Hanmer, Ontario in the Greater Sudbury area. While staying with us, we encourage you to take a farm tour, try the petting zoo or enjoy the scenery. With over 60 acres of farmland, our private and secluded campsites are level and are ideal for any type of camping, from tents to large RVs and everything in between, we can accommodate anyone looking to get outside and enjoy the outdoors. The property offers flat farm fields that back onto wooded areas with a river, pond, and nearby hiking trails! A firepit is provided (Firewood available to purchase) and if you are planning on cooking we have pots and pans upon request. If you need water please feel free to fill up at the house. We also have an outhouse on site. 30 lakes are within a half-hour drive, great for fishing! Sudbury is in a crater, so there are lots of interesting rocks to see if geology interests you. We also have many trail plans for ATV and snow machines (permits required). Seasonal blueberry picking is also available on-site. We are only 10 minutes away from the Train Museum, a must-see while in the area! Pets are always welcome, as are riders and their mounts. We look forward to hosting you!

An offgrid rustic style bunkie that sleeps 2 in the loft (double mattress), 1 comfortably on the sofa pullout, and one more small person on the chair that turns into a small cot. Linen and pillows are included. Rusty also provides cooking pots, pans, dishes, and eating utensils, along with a small amount of non-potable water to clean hands and dishes. A small hiking trail on the property will lead you to Rustys favorite hangout, Red Deer Lake. The trail is a bit of a challenge with many obstacles so please use caution and take your time. Weekend Trip to BAM’s Spanish Riviera

We spent a fantastic long weekend at Beth’s camp & loved it. Beth was so welcoming and chill, and we immediately felt at home. She and her crew were gracious and friendly and full of interesting history about the camp. Beth sent us lots of helpful information in advance and also answered all our questions. The property has a fabulous vibe, and is perfectly situated on the shores of the Spanish, which was ideal for the paddlers and the anglers in our group. The property is nicely secluded on a section of the river- We spent a glorious afternoon swimming and fishing at a nearby beach and were totally on our own. The camp is set up with outhouses that were cleaned daily, an ingenious outdoor shower set up, and a screened in communal kitchen area. We had everything we needed to make the weekend great. The final touch: the sauna was exactly what we needed to relax at end of the day. We would highly recommend Beth’s camp to anyone looking for a quaint and comfortable place to relax and enjoy the river.

It’s a beautiful place and very private - didn’t see anyone else during our three day stay on the weekend. The animals were cute, the firewood was cheap, the water tasted good, and the site fit our 3 person tent perfectly. On the downside the mosquitos got pretty difficult in the evening and we could hear the highway traffic and noise from the neighbours from the site. Still, it was a good overall experience and we would definitely camp there again in the future.

We camped in one of the lodges here and it was super nice! The place is very warming and welcoming, the dogs are very cute and friendly. The land is gorgeous with an amazing access to the Spanish River. We enjoyed our stay here a lot, and we’ll definitely be back!

The Park is the most amazing place I’ve ever camped! The land is beautiful, Geoff is extremely helpful and kind, even took us on a tour of the property😁 There’s everything you’d ever need here including foraging! He’s very accommodating to whatever your needs are for your stay to be as perfect as possible! You can enjoy your stay here with the most amount of privacy or community as your heart desires! We’re for sure going back as much as we can and couldn’t recommend Geoff’s property enough!!

Matt has a connection with you via hipcamp app, animals, cutting hay in her fields and her neighbors, very clean sites, she keeps the road up too sites trimmed, very nice grass carpet going to sites,and beautiful fields for 100's of feet.Lots of water, just ask, or maybe Matt will show you to tap,just bring your containers(save some of your pop bottles). Beavers out back(huge), eagles in the sky,hawks, all kind of birds, the fields are dressed in flowers, apparently for the whole of summer. Bring the kids, the animals are just a short walk, and very safe place for the kids . Esso,s 5 kms away, center of Hamner, close by. Very nice...

Weekend Trip to Point Grondine Park

We had a fantastic stay and would absolutely stay here again. I’d happily recommend this campground to others visiting the Killarney area. The campsite itself was a great size, with generously spaced sites that provided a nice sense of privacy. While you could still see neighbouring campsites, there was enough distance between them that it never felt crowded or like people were wandering through your space. The entire property was extremely well maintained. The campsites, roads, and common areas were all very well groomed, and the washroom facilities were immaculate. Everything was clean, clearly marked, and exceptionally well cared for, which really stood out. We also appreciated the partnership with Killarney Provincial Park that allows campers to use the shower facilities there. That was a thoughtful amenity and definitely added to the overall experience. The only thing that would make the campground even better would be access to running water. That said, this is clearly advertised in advance, so we knew exactly what to expect and it wasn’t a surprise. It’s simply the one feature that, if added in the future, would make an already outstanding campground even more exceptional. Overall, this was an incredibly well-organized, peaceful, and enjoyable place to stay. We had an amazing experience and would definitely be back.

My friends and I had a lovely stay! Beth is a very welcoming and considerate host. Our cabin was cozy and quaint - we woke up to a cool breeze and gorgeous view each morning. Such a magical experience staying right on the Spanish River, swimming in the water, and hearing loons each night. The sauna was incredible and highly recommended. Overall, it felt like a home away from home.

Nick was very welcoming to his home. He had an electric outlet we could use for my camper van. He gave us a tour of the house. There were 2 bathrooms, 1 with a shower. Very clean. He told us we could use the kitchen, but we didn’t. He has a great place to sit outside under some big trees, with chairs, a swing and a picnic table.
