Very close to all the great stuff available at this part of Bruce peninsula. We share our backyard with our guests, we are very close to everything that Bruce county has to offer, port Elgin, Southampton, golf courses, different accesses to saugeen river where u can go fishing canoeing, tubing etc., supermarkets, native reserve, sauble beach and dozens of other ones…all at max 15 minutes distance… in the property you will find everything u need for a peaceful stay, hard to describe everything you will find but u can read our reviews, some of them have beautiful descriptions of what is here for you, you must love animals, since we have our pets all around, u are also super welcome to bring yours. One of the high points of here is the interaction u will have with the pets, they are all super friendly and will play with u every time they see u, they believe u r here for them, between, dogs, cats, birds, rabbits etc they will be part of your stay, this is theyr home, u r theyr guests, that’s how they think, so u must be a pet lover. Learn more about this land:This comfortable and spacious yurt is located on the 30-acre property of the historic Paisley Mill along the Teeswater river. With three large windows, a dome skylight, and wool felt insulation, the yurt provides a wonderful "glamping" experience. There is a double bed and a single bed in the yurt along with a cooler, table, chairs, and storage space. In the future there will be solar power, but right now the lighting available is by a battery powered lantern (provided). Next to the yurt is a picnic table, fire pit, and a sawdust toilet. 3 nights at Stillwater Bunkie and RV Site

Our visit to the Stillwater Bunkie was a great few days! We had private access to a lake, a well-maintained firepit and composting toilet, and a cozy bunkie. Despite being out at the Bunkie in mid-November, we were able to keep very warm inside the Bunkie with the wood burning stove and the provided propane heater. The Bunkie and property came stocked with lots of thoughtful supplies (ex some basic dishes and cutlery, water for washing dishes and 4L of drinkable water per day, blankets, pillows, toilet paper, hand sanitizer, BBQ, firewood, marshmallow roasting sticks, axe, etc). The sofa bed and loft bed were very comfortable! The use of the fridge in their garage and a portable power station in the Bunkie are huge bonuses that many other listings don't provide. The listing mentioned an outdoor shower which we thought would be working but wasn't connected. Not a big deal for a few days but it definitely changed how we planned to keep clean and fresh. Colin was very easily accessible via messaging on this app and was quick to provide any extra supplies we required during our stay (for example, a garbage bin as listed in their welcome/info binder provided inside the Bunkie). Overall, we enjoyed our time out at the Stillwater Bunkie and I would recommend it to others! See

Weekend Trip to Yurt at Paisley Mill

My partner and I stayed at Emily’s Yurt this past thanksgiving weekend 2025 as a last minute booking. Emily accommodated our stay and was very quick to respond. The yurt was stunning, we’ve stayed at many hip camps and this was by far the best experience. From a eco friendly outhouse with a wood chip system, very clean and well stocked with necessities. The yurt had all supplies needed, along with many games and other activities to do. Can’t thank Emily enough for sharing her beautiful property and being so welcoming.

My wife, our dog, and I had a great time staying here for 2 nights. The trailer is very comfortable and has everything you could possibly need, which made our stay easy and enjoyable. We would definitely consider coming back in the future. The only downside was that the site we chose offered almost no privacy, and the neighbouring site was very crowded and noisy with over 14 people, two tents, and three cars. I was under the impression that trailers usually have a maximum of 4 guests, so this was a bit unexpected. Overall, a good experience and a nice spot, but something to be aware of depending on the site you choose.

We loved staying at Mojitoville! The site was secluded and clean, and had really handy amenities. We loved sitting around the fire pit after cooking up a nice meal on the grill. The washing up station was super handy for cleaning up afterwards, and the on site shower was great to freshen up the next morning. Denise was very responsive to any questions and was a great host. Highly recommend this awesome site.

We LOVED it here. Very scenic! Very charming! Very cozy! The host provided everything we could have needed and access to the fridge was such a great asset. If you are into birding, this is the place for you! We saw cranes, herons and one really persistent kingfisher. You can really tell that they have put a lot of care in this place and the added little touches of care like the warm outdoor shower and the beautiful and ingenious bottle mosaic/stained glass added the perfect touch of whimsy. Overall, we really did not get stung that bad and the outhouse was really clean and accessible. Access to the canoe was really a great plus, too! I would definitely recommend who want some good ol peace and quiet ! Thank you again for letting us stay here!
