My daughter and I absolutely loved our stay! The property was genuinely stunning, and Site 2 felt so private and peaceful, with an incredible view. The bed was very comfortable, and sitting together by the fire made the whole experience feel extra special.
The hosts were wonderful and checked in each day to make sure we had everything we needed, while still giving us plenty of privacy. The portable toilets were exceptionally clean, and the power station they provided lasted our entire stay. My daughter also adored feeding the goats!
It was such a beautiful, relaxing, and memorable getaway. We felt completely welcomed and cared for, and we would absolutely stay again!
We stayed at Site 2 and absolutely loved it! The price was fantastic, the site felt private, and the view from our campsite was genuinely magical.
One of the biggest surprises was having access to a portable battery unit. It lasted us our entire trip and made camping without hookups so much easier. The hosts checked in with us every day to make sure we had everything we needed and were incredibly responsive through the app.
The entire property is very clean and well cared for, including the porta-potties. We had no issues having campfires, met some lovely people, and the goats were an absolute highlight. My daughter loved getting to feed them!
The location is also really convenient to Wiarton and nearby amenities. We went to Wiarton Willie’s Inn for a $25 shower, which was super clean with great service.
This was such a great camping experience for the price. Beautiful, peaceful, welcoming and well maintained. We’re definitely coming back!
Great camp site’s on the lake. Well laid out with signage, full service portable toilets, new picknick tables and platform for your tent. Nice lake access from a dock, but shallow and weedy so swimming would be a challenge. Roads and sites have large gravel base so no mud or dirt. I thought the camp sites were a little to close to each other for my particular preference. All said great place to visit and great scenery all round. Would highly recommend for tent camping but RV less then 14’ would be your limit.
It was a lovely experience camping on the lake!
The wooden deck is pretty spacious - we managed to fit 2 2-person tents, it also protected us from the rain quite well.
There is a garbage bin, a nice table and a toilet (basic biotoilet, but it had running water and flushable toilet which was nice).
The campsites are located quite close to each other, which could be both an upside if you are booking multiple, or a downside if you are looking for privacy (although the host is pretty strict with keeping a quiet environment everyone can enjoy).
