We had a lovely springtime visit to the yurt. We listened to frogs (peepers, chorus frogs, leopard frogs) all evening and enjoyed a few great hikes in the area. Such a beautiful peaceful setting!

The yurt was a perfect way to spend a cozy weekend with our family. The wood stove kept the chill away. We loved seeing the turtles and geese, climbing trees, and playing hide-and-seek in the forest! And I must say: I’m not sure I’ve experienced a nicer, cleaner outhouse…the cedar shavings for the compostable toilet even made it smell nice! :) Emily gave great instructions in preparation for the trip and was responsive to my random questions throughout the weekend. Thanks again!

Emily was easy to contact from beginning of booking to afterwards. The instructions and supplies were perfect.
The yurt itself is spacious!
We had a wonderful relaxing weekend and enjoyed local restaurants as well. We look forward to returning and trying during another season!

My kids and I has a lovely few days in Emily's yurt. The facility is in great condition and very comfortable. As well, the area around is beautiful and peaceful - though also well connected to town. All-in-all, it made for a perfect late-winter getaway!
Fantastic time at the Paisley Mill Yurt. Emily thought of everything for this glamping experience, right down to the extra batteries, dishes, firewood and cooler to name only a few creature comforts! Winter camping was a breeze (warm breeze thanks to the gorgeous fireplace). Even in -20 temps and in a snow storm we were cozy-comfy. We definitely plan to return, perhaps during another season so we can enjoy the wonderful surroundings. Highly recommended!

We had such a wonderful girls weekend at the Yurt at Paisley Mill. So warm and cozy and filled with beautiful memories with my close friends. Close to home, yet far enough away to have a wee escape!
Highly recommended!!!

Everything was amazing! Emily was super accommodating and quick to respond. The property was beautiful with lots of space and near by trails to explore! The yet is so comfortable, cute and clean. Perfect for a couple days getaway!
Great new experience. A cute yurt by the river!
The wood provided for the woodstove was wet and we had to buy 4 bags of wood ourselves- biggest downfall to the trip.
Also no where outside to store wood to keep it dry for an outside fire.
A shelter for eating and cooking outside would make this experience more enjoyable.

Elizabeth, thank you for staying at the Paisley Mill Yurt. I’m so sorry that you had to purchase your own wood. There is plenty of good, dry wood available on-site for guests. We will make sure it is easily more accessible for future guests. Your feedback about an outdoor shelter is great. We are planning to add one to the site this summer. Thank you again for staying and for your feedback.
