Welcome to Murraywood, a peaceful river bend all to yourself, where you can relax among the river gums as you watch the sunset over the Mighty Murray. We offer only one site so you will have complete privacy and plenty of space. Tooleybuc is the nearest town and is 11kms away, it has a boat ramp so you can make the most of your water activities on the Murray. It also has a general store and IGA for your shopping needs. Relax around your campfire in the evenings and enjoy some amazing star gazing. Please ensure there are no fire restrictions in place before starting a fire. Campers must be self sufficient and take all their rubbish and provide their own camping toilet. Pets are welcome. Great Quiet spot

Murraywood is a great spot on the river. Be aware, the "main" camping area is under massive river redgums which clearly drop large limbs regularly and would have limited solar. There is plenty of other areas to camp clear of large trees. Extremely quiet spot, saw 2 boats in 11 days. Heaps of firewood available and the fishing was great. Very steep slope down to the river atm as the river level is low. Tooleybuc pub is awesome and does great meals. Will be back

Excellent Site

Site was very good, very private. Large, flat site with steps down to the water. We would definitely return.

Nice spot good sandbar for a swim bank is steep but there is steps would definitely go again fishing was good aswell

Bush camping on the Murray

Bush camping on the banks of the Murray. Both shade and sun to pick from with big enoughturn around for vans, directions clear and easy to find camp.

A Little Murray River haven

My family and dogs loved our week at Peter's Murray River paradise. Completely private, right near the river for lots of swimming and fishing- but high off the river banks so it's very safe. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this spot if your wanting some time out to disconnect from just the busyness of life and have quiet time to enjoy being out in the outdoors

Pros: Great site on the river. Very private. Friendly land owner. Cons: Scare guns for orchids all day. Broken glass around site
