Camp right on the springs!
This was our 2nd visit and we loved it just as much as the first time! It’s a perfectly sized lot with fireplace, table and outdoor lights. It’s the perfect location and just steps from the springs. Loved having access to the kayaks and paddle boards too! Alonda was super responsive and easy to work with.

Family friendly!!!
The attention to detail on the site is amazing, from the string lights to the level site. The use of the kayaks and paddle boards allowed us to see manatees up close, fish jumping and a gator.
My boys caught fish from the dock, great morning cup of coffee relaxing in the dock and friendly neighbors.
We would recommend this site and look forward to a return stay.

Great RV site. You have kayaking, fishing right on the dock. We saw manatees while kayaking. Everyone is friendly. Host is very accommodating to your needs. Amazing time for the grandkids

Camping with Nature
Property was well kept and you felt like you where camping and not in a parking lot. Being walking distance to the cool springs. Sitting on the dock at sun set the view was beautiful. People would stroll by on their kayaks or paddle boards. Being able to use Alonda’s kayaks and paddle boards made the trip even more enjoyable. We had our 34 ft Travel Trailer and utilized full hooks offered. It was quiet and very peaceful. My family swam with the manatees, went snorkeling and visited the local dive shop. We are looking forward to scallop season starting in July. I wish she had more then 1 camp site. We enjoyed our stay A-Plus.

A really unique place to stay. Abundant wildlife. Having the kayaks and paddle boards allowed us to explore the beautiful spring waters right from the dock on the property. Surprisingly quiet for being right next to a road.

Nice, level, shaded site!
This is a very cool area of Florida and the camp spot was perfect! The neighbors were very friendly and offered good suggestions for places to go. I was fortunate to swim with a manatee right off the dock! (Not typical).
No problem backing in a 30’ trailer. Nice lighting and shade in the trees above.

Camping on Homosassa!
Alonda’s site is clean conveniently located right on the springs a short paddle away from the state park where there is much to see. Kayaks and paddle boards are included! This is worth the rental all by itself. Anything you may need regarding quick food, good food, or grocery shopping is super close too. We’ve been here twice and I’m sure we will return often. There is fire wood available onsite too.

Relaxing Weekend Getaway
We had a great time at this site. We really enjoyed the use of kayaks to paddle out to the spring head area where we spent several hours each day floating in the clear refreshing water. We also enjoyed sitting on the dock and were lucky enough to have a manatee swim right by our chairs. Thank you Alonda for sharing a little slice of paradise. .

Can’t say enough about this site!! The location is peaceful and beautiful! Loved the use of the dock and kayaks! The water was absolutely beautiful! Seen a couple of manatees while paddling on the river.
Loved having the firewood there and being able to purchase it there. Nice level spot.
We will be returning in the future.

Loved our week in Homosassa. Direct access to the Homosassa Springs State Wildlife Park via the river, with a front row seat to observe the wintering manatees. The canal has shallow areas that make it easy to re-access your kayak or paddleboard

This spot in amazing. It was everything we needed and more. The host was there to greet us and offer any help getting setup we needed but than let us be until we were ready for a tour. She was so nice and the space is beautiful. She showed us where the kayaks and SUP were that we could use and gave us directions to all the sights by water in the area. We had access to beautiful dock to sit by. Fire pit, table, lights, and anything outside you would need. Could not have asked for anything better. My mom and aunt came out for the afternoon. It was soon peaceful.

What an amazing find. Alonda was such a kind and informative host! Seriously loved her. We were able to use the Kayaks to see the manatees. One of the best experiences of my life! Site was level. Plenty of amenities. Don’t question it. Just book it.

This was a family trip to celebrate our son's 10th birthday. The goal - swim with manatees and explore the area, both by land and water. Mission accomplished! This was the perfect location for our visit- we biked to the Wildlife Sanctuary and was able to put in our Zodiac from the host's dock directly into the springs. The street is quiet and despite the host living on property, we hardly crossed paths! It was a lovely stay and when we return, we plan to stay here again. Homosassa is a beautiful place. Thank you, Alonda, for sharing your lovely land with us.

Best site
This was our second stay at this Hipcamp location and like the prior stay it was fantastic. Alonda is a great host and checks to ensure guests are welcome. This is our favorite camp location and touches all the vacation goals…great Manatee watching, great location, great biking with opportunity to get outdoors.

Fantastic Homosassa spot
Great spot on a quiet road. Alonda has everything you need: power, water, sewer. The site is ample sized with a nice fire pit and dining table. There are string lights to turn on if you need more outside lighting. Paddle boarded twice during our stay- perfect way to enjoy the beautiful Homosassa River. Alonda is a gracious and welcoming host!

Very nice
This was a great stay. Host has done a lot and provided things they didn’t have to in order to make for an easier stay. Plan to come back next year.
Please respect the site as its very nice and kayaks as well. They have gone beyond any expectation of a hip camp to provide a great experience.
