It has all original features with added amenities such as Central A/C, an Indoor Fireplace, Electric Cooktop, Air Fryer, a Keurig and Wi-Fi ! The camper is designed to sleep 4 guests but feel free to bring a tent for additional guests or space! Great great host very accommodating. I really enjoyed my stay there. He and his family made me feel like part of their family and their property. Anytime I needed anything. He was always there to help out and make helpful suggestions. We really enjoyed feeding his animals and thanked him for saving them. He runs a rescue for animals that are unwanted. He allowed us to feed his animals. Iā€™d also like to mention his wife Carla, who is also awesome and if you or your significant other is in need of a great manicure or pedicure, she was able to do that for us during our stay we thoroughly enjoyed that part of our stay. Getting your feet pampered is always a bonus during camping. Thank you again Arcadio and Carla for your friendship and allowing us to stay on your property with our RV, we had a great time and we will definitely come back

The owner was awesome. Camp site is pretty primitive but close by to all the places you want to be. Also got to say hello to the pigs. Having electricity was so helpful. I'd say its a good place to stay for a couple nights. Then you might start craving more of toilet. This one is a bucket literally lol.

It was so so serene so peaceful. the sites were spaced out with so much room in between .it felt like you were in your own Oasis. the animals were amazing for my son ,he got to see the chickens and pet the goat. play on the playground. definitely going back ,and my most favorite campground . Most wonderful hosts. My family loves this place .

Nice owner, quick responses, unique property! Great value felt private despite the propertys main home & other campsites being nearby, some areas on the property could require four-wheel drive, make sure to communicate with the owner so you don't get stuck. The camper while approaching it was small, but once inside found it to be roomier than expected, you need to find something this old, in good condition. Unexpected Plus the bed was very comfy!!

Lower your expectations and what you have been sold on glamping and overpriced Airbnb this is good people opening their home and hearts to allow other to enjoy their home. We loved our trip, Arcadio was awesome to work with. Many accommodations were made to help accommodate our out of the ordinary requests and have absolutely no complaints! The sights exactly how primitive and limited as expressed. It is like camping in his backyard with an ext cord and a pallet stall for bucket potty and outdoor showers if you provide your own water. We had our own water sources and battery generator that was easily charged by his 20amp extension cord. There was a fire ban but we made due and excellent sā€™mores were achieved. The animals a great.

The intro email lays out everything you need to know. The hosts are very kind and welcoming people. Have a great set up on their property, and all of the campsites have enough space around them to have a feel of privacy, even when the place is full. I do recommend you bring firewood, or you can buy it here which is nice. They also let you pick up sticks so you can have small fuel and kindling to supplement your firewood with. Theres no shortage of sticks, they have a lot of healthy oak and pine trees on the property. It was a great spot to camp out while visiting Rainbow River and Springs for a paddle trip. Bring a hammock!

We spent four nights at the animal rescue ranch in our 21 ft Coleman. We fell in love with the land, the owners, and the animals! We will definitely be returning again! I will never forget the wonderful week I spent at this campsite. It was so peaceful and private. The stars at night were amazing. I loved the trails where I could walk my dog and visit with the resident animals. Arcadio was a kind and helpful host with a lovely family. Having electricity made it possible to plug in a heated blanket on cold nights and recharge my phone. The nearby town of Dunnellon had groceries, supplies, restaurants, parks, and a beautiful river. It was friendly and felt very safe for a woman in her 70s traveling alone with a small dog. I canā€™t wait to come back!

Very nice and well taken care of campground. Plenty of firewood all around - forest nook #1 was very secluded and would recommend this spot again! The animals all appear to be very well taken care of (unlike what other comments suggest) and were super fun to see!
