The cabin was cute and cozy, with a warm indoor stove to keep the place warm. Lots of space with one mains bed and two small beds up top.
We were there in October and we had the area to ourselves which was great, but it seemed the camping spot and Teepee were quite close to the cabin.

Better than advertise. The Kevin was new and clean. The wood stove kept us very warm and toasty. The firepit was well stocked with cedar cut offs .
Hot pool was extremely relaxing and had a great vibe.
We added a canoe to our trip and fished Gardom Lake.
Excellent experience, we'll be back !

We really enjoyed Darcy’s cabin. It was simple, quaint and so peaceful. The outdoor shower was awesome and the pit toilet was clean and not smelly. The supplied propane fire ring made the atmosphere cozy as there was a fire ban. The views were lovely. As Aussies, we’d remind other campers that cutlery and glassware is not supplied- but this did not take away from our experience at all!

The cabin in the woods was great! The bed was so comfortable and cozy. The outdoor shower set in the trees made for an amazing shower. Would definitely visit again.

We loved our stay! The site was quiet, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Everything matched the photos, and the hosts really thought of all the little details. The AC worked perfectly, and they kindly provided a gas firebowl since there was a fire ban in effect. Just note that the hot tub won’t be available during fire bans, as it’s connected to the way it’s heated.
The outdoor shower was a highlight, it made the experience even more unique. One important tip: follow the driving directions exactly as provided, otherwise it’s very easy to get lost.
Overall, a wonderful spot that we’d happily return to!

We really enjoyed our 2 nights at Darcy's cabin. It was private, comfortable, and although it got cold outside at night, the cabin stayed warm without having to light the indoor wood stove. Although the trees obstructed the view, at night we were able to stargaze around the campfire. Darcy was attentive to our needs and with a small fee, delivered and picked up 2 kayaks we rented to spend the day at Gardom Lake. Would definitely return in future!

This was such a great camping experience! Great views and all amenities were supplied along with chairs for the fire and axe for the provided fire wood. The grounds were clean and beds were comfy. Private outhouse and the outdoor showers with hot water. They recommend 4x4 to get up the hill to the camp and tipi as it is steep. The walk through the forest was short but definitely pack light if you’re going through. Darcy was an amazing host and walked us through everything. 5 out of 5 and would definitely come back!

Amazing stay with an incredible view! The beds are comfortable, and the outdoor shower was beautiful. The provided propane and lanterns were an excellent perk. Even the outhouse was nice. My kids loved the location and the experience. Darcy was friendly and helpful and the dogs were sweet. We can’t wait to return with the rest of our family.

We stayed at Deep Creek Cabin as a family of five (our youngest is 1), and it was absolutely perfect. The cabin feels super private and peaceful—tucked away in the trees—but Darcy was always just a message or short walk away if we needed anything.
It’s got a rustic vibe in the best way, but still includes modern touches like lots of power outlets in the cabin, a BBQ with propane, a kettle, and even toilet paper in the nicest outhouse I’ve ever seen (which we really appreciated!). Firewood, camping chairs, and an axe were all provided, which made hanging around the fire pit easy and fun.
The outdoor shower is amazing—the hot water and great water pressure were a huge plus. Recommend bringing towels, shampoo, and shower gel. We also recommend packing a cooler for your food, kitchen gear (plates, cutlery, paper towels, etc.), bin bags, bug spray, and something to roast marshmallows with.
We rented Darcy’s kayaks and life jackets, and spent a day at Gardom Lake a 5 min drive from the cabin—super chill spot, sandy beach, lots of parking, and we basically had it to ourselves.
Overall, a great mix of comfort, nature, and quiet. We’d 100% come back. Perfect for camping novices, young families, or anyone who wants to enjoy a peaceful night in the woods—with the luxury of their own private toilet and hot shower.

It is a cool concept and we like the idea, here are a few things that would make it better:
1. Parking is very unpleasant, I would suggest you dont let other people drive up to the lot as it provides little room to turn around.
2. The inside of the TeePee was falling apart and took from the wow factor.
3. Biggest issue was all the dogs barking all night long. That was a big no for my partner she chose to sleep in the car to get way from all the barking.
4. Your sheet of paper says to not have any food on site before going to sleep; hows this going to work for people who can not get their cars up to the site. We were lucky enough to put the food in our car. Anyone eles would have to teck back to their cars in the middle of the night.
5. We where bombarded with adds to rent a boat, I did not see anywhere a bout could go?
We do appreciate the opportunity to stay there unfortunately there are a few bugs you need to work on.

The cabin was cozy but with plenty of room and the little ac unit kept it very cool. Darcy was very pleasant and a great host. While the cabin is on their property sitting around the fire feels like you're alone in the bush. The outdoor shower took a couple minutes to heat up but was the perfect temperature once it did. The bedding in the cabin was extremely comfortable and the bbq worked well for cooking all our meals.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The site was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with electricity and even a small AC, making it easy to relax. The area is incredibly peaceful, surrounded by lush greenery and a stunning mountain backdrop. Gardom Lake was a bit of a letdown, but the tranquility of the overall setting more than made up for it. A great spot to unwind and recharge.

The cabin and tipi tent were really nice. The cabin had its own shower and sink, which we appreciated. Running water for the tipi was a short walk away. The cabin was perfect. Cozy, very clean and well maintained. Lots of outlets to charge our electronics. The tipi had a beautiful view. Also very clean. There were a good amount of mosquitos so do not forgot to bring spray! You can drive up the the sites, however, we found it too steep for our personal liking and walked to the site from Darcy’s house.

This was an amazing overnight spot. The tipi is beautiful and very comfortable. The beds were great, it was clean and warm. They provided wood, lamps, hatchet, picnic table and everything you need for a really neat experience. The compost out house was new,clean and smelt of fresh cedar and close to the cabin. We didn't use the private outdoor shower but it looked amazing 😍 would stay here again in a heart beat! THE VIEW!! From the tipi is absolutely beautiful
Darcy and his wife were quick to respond, helpful and made the stay comfortable and fun for our family. I would definitely recommend this spot

We loved the cabin! Great location, the shower is incredible! What a great upgrade for us…we usually just tent everywhere but we stayed 4 nights and it was so nice to have a bed and shower. We highly recommend this spot!

The tipi was spacious, comfortable sleep, the fan that was included was a must! Very cool experience on a nice private area. Darcy was wonderful enough to watch our dog one day so we could go fishing as well! Exceded our expectations.
