Our trailer even got a flat tire the day we tried to leave and him and his friend helped us change the tire before leaving that day. We will stay here again!"

The Landing at Index WA

8 sites · RVs, Tents16 acres · Index, WA
Welcome to The Landing at Index - located on the South Fork Skykomish River, in the western foothills of the Cascade Mountains, off of Highway 2. With 16 acres of beautiful, private woods and breathtaking views of Mt. Index, this is a wonderful getaway to kick back and relax after your day of adventures, or just to escape the city rush. The campsite is at the bottom of a rugged drive so an SUV or AWD vehicle are recommended, especially during the wetter seasons of Spring and Fall. When the property was logged approximately 100 years ago they scooped out gravel from the river to make their roads in the area thus creating the back eddy lagoon along the beach. The Department of Fish and Game have a fish ladder at Sunset Falls just upstream and BNSF railroad owns the large vacant tract down stream.A rather peaceful setting, including the rushing sound of the river and the occasional whistle of a train. You will feel refreshed and rejuvenated after you stay at The Landing.Pets are welcome, there is a toilet on site campfires allowed (when burn bans are not in place).

Barn Valley

3 sites · RVs, Tents4 acres · Cle Elum, WA
Property has been sold. May 3rd is the last night people can stay. Thank you for your time. We had fun hosting you. As you pull of the main middle fork road you take your first left down to our gated property. Plenty of turn around space to back in your trailer or rig into each of the 5 sites. Easy access to the Teanaway Community forest tons of outdoor adventure. Hike, Bike, Fish or even can ride your dirt bikes, snowmobiles, or horses all within minutes or just off the property doorstep. Property is over 4 acres, in a great location. 1.5 hours from Bellevue and 10-15 minutes to breweries and eateries in Cle Elum. Property is cross Fenced and was setup for horses. We now use these separate pastures/pens as campsites. You enter property through shared driveway with main home (double green gate). This home is our vacation home and Airbnb and not shared use for campers. The 3 pens/corrals in the center are for individual (1 vehicle) RV and Tent camping, fully fenced in for your furry friends to be off leash and relax with you. These each only accommodate 1 vehicle or 1 vehicle with trailer. The northern pasture ( furthest left as you pull in) is for group camping use (charged per vehicle, please only book if you have multiple vehicles) and the Southern most pasture ( far right as you pull in) we are keeping with the ranch spirit and letting equestrian lovers rent, but also for groups (please only book with multiple vehicles or if you have horses). The three main/central RV/tent sites are over 100' long and 50' wide. Center site , #2, is 9' wide cattle gate you can pull in your trailers, vans or vehicles into. Most campers are 8', so you are threading a bit of a needle, go slow, but if I can do, anyone can :). Best for camper vans, short trailers and similar. Site #1 and #3 have 18' wide double gate entrances and easy for anyone to reverse into. Recommended for folks with slide outs use #1 and #3 sites so you can get distance from the fence easily. Know/Measure your vehicle before you book. Potable water is readily available throughout the property with a total of 2 drinkable water pumps along the fence lines. It is hard water, so be prepared for a mineral taste, but nice and cold. Blue jug by fenceline is for putting out camp fires before you leave/go to bed or just filling up your dogs bowl. Please put back and secure to pump with cord provided after each use. We are a pack out what you pack in camping experience. NO trash cans, NO restrooms or hookups of any sort. You MUST be self contained. You can attach your hose to fill up your RVs and trailers to the pump, but not permanently during your stay. It is a shared service. Please be respectful of your neighbors and quiet hours are after sunset or after 10pm, whichever is first. Please keep dogs leashed if crossing the vacation property to go for a walk. In your fenced in campground pets are free to roam at owners responsibility and discretion. Do not leave animals unsupervised. Welcome to Barn Valley and Enjoy the wonderful Teanaway Valley! Our weather and stars can't be beat!

Masabaje Camp

4 sites · Lodging, Tents20 acres · Ellensburg, WA
Purchased in 2013 after a fire came through the area. We've spent the last 7 years regenerating the land, planting trees, building our house and collecting places for people to rest their heads. Masabaje is the first two letters of each of our parents names (Margaret, Sandy, Barry, Jerry). We offer three listings - a converted schoolbus, retro trailer, and tent spot. Meet Birdy, a semi-converted Blue Bird school bus with a comfortable queen mattress, couch, two recliners, dry kitchen, cooking utensils, and camp stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 4 minute walk). Birdy sits at "Top Pond", farthest from the house in a super quiet and private spot. You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee). There is no electricity available in Birdy. Battery operated lights are provided. Devices can be charged up at the house. There is also no heater in Birdy, overnight temperatures in September and October can dip down into the mid-low 40's or lower. Meet Tin Man, we found him after he had been in an accident. Bandaged him up and he became the first place to sleep when we bought our empty land. He has a comfortable double mattress, couch, chair, kitchen, cooking utensils, and two burner stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 30 second walk). Tin Man sits on our driveway round-a-bout and is closest to the house. You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee). Ellensburg is known for its wind and our land is just down from a wind farm. We cannot control the wind, but Birdy sits in a pretty wind protected oasis. We are less than 2 hours from Seattle, 1 hour to Yakima wine country, 40 minutes to Vantage, 40 minutes to Leavenworth, 50 minutes to Snoqualmie Pass, 15 minutes to Ellensburg, 25 minutes to Roslyn, 25 minutes to Yakima River Canyon for floating and hiking, and so much more!

Slippery Creek

2 sites · RVs, Tents4 acres · Greenwater, WA
Learn more about this land: Slippery Creek is available year around. Located 30 mins out of Enumclaw and 45 mins to Crystal Mountain ski resort and 1 hr to Paradise Mt. Rainier. SlipperyCreek sits on 4 acres of old growth forest and has a creek that runs along side it. The crystal clear creek is clean enough to drink from and runs cold even in August…. But I swim in it anyways. SlipperyCreek has many cool projects in mind for creating a place to camp, so if after your stay. If you want to come back and take on a project I’ll knock off 50% on your stay plus I could also be talked into BBQ hamburgers if your bring the Salid. The project list: Build fire pits, trail maintenance and building, Tent platforms, outdoor shower and ambiance lighting. SlipperyCreek has two camping areas: The Forest sight has un-level ground and plenty of room for a trailer, good tent camping area can be found, Oh ya….. Hammock camper this back area has giant trees….. just assume lay down and looking up 200 ft and the trees disappear. Hammock campers please note hammocks will be required to use straps vs rope. This Forest sites sits back 200 ft from the creek so if you have little people… You will also find a dried up creek bed to explore. The max turn around length is 30ft. This could also be a group camp site… 1 or 2 trailers and 3-5 tents, but you need to call to make these arrangements. The River Beach: This spot has a rock pad that can handle 30 ft RVs, or two smaller trailers / camper vans. This site is still being developed, and you can hear car traffic but it’s on the river so the noise just white washes away. This spot gets good sunlight even though the tree line surrounds this area. This site currently lacks an area for a square tent , but narrow two person is fine . This spot has some great places to meditate or just lounge in the bean bag hut next to the river. More about the property…… I just dare you to take the plunge…. It only a little chilly. Make sure you keep your eyes open when walking the river because you can find petrified wood. Sam my daughter is one of those crafty people so look around for painted rocks., she leaves them all over the property. Please only 1 rock per kid… including the big kids too. Upon arrival you will find an upper driveway ( my place) and a lower ( please honk and let others and myself know your here) the river beach sites is on the left side. The Forest site is down the road and around the corner..

Dean’s Campground

14 sites · RVs, Tents11 acres · Auburn, WA
Welcome to Dean’s! Eight minutes off Highway 18 lies 11 acres of mostly undeveloped land. Dean's is a beautiful, bare-bones place to rest between national parks, before or after crossing the US / CA border, or to set up base camp to explore Seattle / Tacoma. Our location is convenient. We are just minutes from Auburn city limits. Road noise, planes, Pacific Raceways, and freight trains are audible here even if muffled by the trees. In order to provide safety and peace, hosts live just outside the campground and closely manage happenings. All our sites have 2-4 persons occupancy in hopes of deterring parties. Our quiet hours are 8pm-8am so we can rest up for the next day’s adventures. We ban fires during the peak of summer to avoid the issue of wildfires entirely. Propane stoves are welcome. We do not have a check in cut-off time tho reservations do need to be made before midnight. We have zero tolerance for hateful, abusive, or discriminatory behavior toward people, belongings, and wildlife. With that being said, the 40+ year old trees and distance between the campsites provides space for you to bring and create your own vibes. Hosts should only approach you with safety or quiet hour concerns. They are available 24 / 7 for any questions or requests you may have. Feel free to reach out any time (our phone number can be found on Google).
