Enjoy an elevated glamping experience! The Black Swan Bungalow is a private, cozy cottage/bunkie beside the main house on my beautiful treed property in Port Dover. Just a 15-minute walk to restaurants, shopping, theatre, and the beach—you’ll be close enough to enjoy the fun, yet far enough away to relax in peace and quiet.
The bungalow features a queen-sized memory foam mattress, a seating area with a table and chairs, and its own covered deck. Outside, you’ll find a two-person hot tub overlooking the hill—a beautiful spot for stargazing! Plus a cute outdoor hot shower! (April through October) The bathroom includes a Think Tank compost toilet and a sink with cold running water (April through October). For your comfort, the space has both heating and air conditioning. On nice evenings, you can enjoy a fire in the fire pit or head down to a private deck at the bottom of the hill. Check-in is easy with a coded door lock.
I live in the main house with my two cats, and while I’ll give you complete privacy, I’m always available to answer questions or share local recommendations.

Like most folks who’ve been bitten by the water ski bug, I dreamed of having my own lake and when I met my life partner Harald, an elite slalom skier, my search began in earnest. By a combination of good timing and good luck, I was able to make that dream come true and in the spring of 2014 I acquired this land with the hopes of building my dream water ski lake on it. 7 years later, we have a thriving water ski club and are constantly making improvements to the site. We now have decided to add some sites for rent to share this incredible property with others outside the water ski community.
Site #1 is a small cabin that sleeps 3 and site #2 is a small houseboat that has been converted to a bunkie.
Onsite activities include use of a canoe and paddleboard. Use of a kid's swingset and olympic trampoline. Swimming and fishing.

For your safety, please exercise caution when venturing into the woods and avoid approaching the active train tracks located at the back of the property.
While the passing train adds to the rustic charm of the setting, it may NOT be suitable for light sleepers. Road traffic noise tends to calm down in quiet hours.

The cabin includes a double Murphy bed, we supply all bedding. A Cot is available for a third person. By a combination of good timing and good luck, I was able to make that dream come true and in the spring of 2014 I acquired this land with the hopes of building my dream water ski lake on it. 7 years later, we have a thriving water ski club and are constantly making improvements to the site. We now have decided to add some sites for rent to share this incredible property with others outside the water ski community.
Site #1 is a small cabin that sleeps 3 and site #2 is a small houseboat that has been converted to a bunkie.
Onsite activities include use of a canoe and paddleboard. Use of a kid's swingset and olympic trampoline. Swimming and fishing.

For your safety, please exercise caution when venturing into the woods and avoid approaching the active train tracks located at the back of the property.
While the passing train adds to the rustic charm of the setting, it may NOT be suitable for light sleepers. Road traffic noise tends to calm down in quiet hours.

The cabin includes a double Murphy bed, we supply all bedding. A Cot is available for a third person. The cabin is air-conditioned, has a small sitting area, fridge, Keurig coffee machine, and heater for the cooler nights in the fall. Firewood available. I come here with my partner each Christmas and we listen to the ever growing record collection while we listen to the cracking wood in the Woodstock. There's a propane cook top for coffee and tea as well as frying pans and pots. The bed is so comfortable. Bring a book if you like. The host is amazing and makes sure you have anything you need as they live just down the way.

Beth was the best host anyone could ask for! The bungalow was cut clean and comfortable We had amenities for tea coffee and she was even so kind that she shared some drinks with us because the liquor store was closed. She also provided us with a microwave that was not originally included and it did come in very handy. We felt like we bonded immediately. The hot tub was a delight and heated porch area. Beth was kind enough to allow us to use her bathroom for a shower and it was not ackward at all. We had plenty of privacy. I would highly recommend staying her as it was not expensive at all.

My partner and I loved this cute cabin , right next to Lake Erie! It’s a great size, very clean, and had all the amenities we needed for the start of our cross country trip back home , including a buddy heater for the cold night. Thank you so much for the extra blankets too! We were perfectly snug. We wish we could have spent another night. We got gluten free pizza at Villaggio Italiano, which is right down the road — it was delicious! Couldn’t recommend this spot more!

We had such a wonderful stay at Shiloh Barn! Jess and Mark were amazing hosts — super kind, welcoming, and always available if we needed anything.
The glamping tent was clean, cozy, and had everything we could possibly need — utensils, washroom, tissues, even little touches that made it feel really comfortable. The barn loft upstairs with the string lights was adorable and such a nice place to unwind.
We had a great time barbecuing, sitting by the fire pit, and stargazing late into the night. It was peaceful, romantic, and such a refreshing break from city life.
