This Property was purchased by Grandfather in the 70s and then was passed to my Mother. In 2013 I decided to live life differently and start from the ground up building with natural materials and found materials. At that time I was fortunate enough to have the land passed to me and I started building a home for myself and to be close to my mothers home nearby. After achieving the basics I decided that the best use of this beautiful land was to create a place for people to relax and enjoy, a park like environment dedicated to preserving natural beauty and amplifying it through a permaculture lifestyle. 8 years later I am blown away at how far the dream has become a reality and love sharing my space with people from all over the country.

Weekend Trip to Cold Spring Basecamp
What an incredible stay!! I will be frequenting. The bathhouse is finished and gorgeous! Located directly across the road from the a frame. Loved the cold plunge and creekside sauna that were walking distance from the site. One of my favorite things was sitting by the creek at the a-frame and hearing it babble from the firepit and porch. The bed was incredibly comfortable, cozy linens. Highly recommend!! Can’t wait to try their treehouse next time!!

This was a perfect spot for a quick winter overnight. The wood stove was lovely, and the dogs and I even slept on the floor next to it. It kept us very toasty on a very cold night!

I loved it and will return. I knew there would be electricity, a fridge, a bed, etc., but I did not expect a fancy bathhouse with flushing toilets and hot showers! And there was wi-fi! The mattress was very comfy and there was an easy chair to relax in. So cozy! The cabin is right on the river, and I enjoyed just sitting on a chair on the porch and watching the water. There are several cabins in a row next to each other, but plenty of space between and privacy walls. There are hiking trails just a stone's throw away, and it was great to be able to do a long hike and then get right back to the cozy cabin. Tom and Carrie were amazing, so helpful and communicative! Thank you!

Weekend Trip to Cold Spring Basecamp
We loved our stay at the Windy A frame. It was a beautiful night to stay, jut chilly enough for us to turn the heater on for a little bit but crack a window and listen to the creek. We made a fire and the camp dishes and cookware provided in the cabin under the bed were wonderful to utilize. We used the cold plunge in the morning and Hartwell was so nice to let us try out the sauna as well. It was a great stay, we’d love to be back and will pass the rec along to friends.

We had such a wonderful stay at this cabin! It felt like a peaceful retreat tucked away in nature. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully set up with all the amenities for a relaxing getaway. This was a spur of the moment stay and turned out good. It is a little difficult without running water to the cabin with kids (there is a bath house with restrooms within walking distance). The cabin itself was beautiful, we stayed in number 1. There are 4 of them very close by, so if you are seeking privacy it won't be here. Across the cabin is a fenced in area for the farm animals. We did not check that out due to timing of other plans, but is probably cool for the kids. We were able to have a campfire which was really nice to have. All in all, if you are just needing a spot to sleep id recommend it, not so much for hanging out, especially with younger kids. I have a 10 and 4 year old.
The drive way is paved most of the way, lots of twists and turns. We arrived after sundown so it was a little challenging finding but nothing crazy.
