It has electricity, a fridge and a Queen bed! Guests must use the Bathhouse which is close by. Bring your own bedding or sleeping bag. There are other cabins on site but plenty of room. Guests can fish and wade in the river. Guests can have fires in fire ring.

Owners were super nice and accommodating! Cabins were a little closer together expected- you have your own space but can see all other cabins/sites. The creek was very relaxing. Make sure you have the directions downloaded!

I loved it and will return. I knew there would be electricity, a fridge, a bed, etc., but I did not expect a fancy bathhouse with flushing toilets and hot showers! And there was wi-fi! The mattress was very comfy and there was an easy chair to relax in. So cozy! The cabin is right on the river, and I enjoyed just sitting on a chair on the porch and watching the water. There are several cabins in a row next to each other, but plenty of space between and privacy walls. There are hiking trails just a stone's throw away, and it was great to be able to do a long hike and then get right back to the cozy cabin. Tom and Carrie were amazing, so helpful and communicative! Thank you!

Stayed at site #5, It was super cute and secluded! Everyone was very friendly and pups are welcome on and off leash. Only 20 minutes from town if you don’t feel like cooking over the fire.

This was such a nice site! It’s between two creeks and the sound of rushing water was so soothing. There’s a warm bathhouse and the view of the mountains was beautiful.

I camp in spot#6 right on the creek, loved the sound of the water, we had power and water connection. The campsite was clean with a picnic table. Clean hot shower, sink and a flushing toilet and is very secluded in the mountains and very quiet.

River Camping Cabin #1
Tom let us move to cabin 2 which had more room for dogs and it was great. He is helpful with things to do in the area and checking in if we need anything. Cabin 2 was great and creekside.

Host was very kind and accommodating. The property is nice and kept up well. We had a lovely time. One complaint: I would get rid of the bed in #5. Absolutely no support. We had to sleep on the floor the second night.

We loved our campsite! Hosts were friendly and helpful. We were right by the river just as the pictures showed and other campers weren't super close. There was a small play set for the kids and an easy hiking trail toward the end of the property. We were able to get firewood on the site and we had a great time!

#2 Riverside Great CAMPING Cabin
Had a great time in cabin #2. This is a rustic cabin next to a stream. Waze GPS got us right to camp site. Tom the camp host greeted us shortly after we arrived and was so helpful on tips to keep cabin cozy. He also gave us a map and excellent directions to Dupont Forest. Camp restrooms/showers are a short walk from cabin. Port a potty even closer than restrooms. Camp ground has a good vibe. Front door didn't lock. Smore kit for extra fee was awesome, also some assorted snacks available. There is a small store nearby to get basics. No phone or internet service available at campground. Relax and unplug!

River Camping Cabin #1
I loved the small cabin #1 on Carrie and Tom's land. It was the perfect amount of space for two people. Tom was super friendly and made his rounds everyday to make sure we had everything we needed. The river was so close we could walk right down and fish. The grounds were well kept, clean and always kept warm in 20 degree low temps with plenty of heaters and an extra blanket to hang over our door for extra warmth. We will be coming back in the spring and summer and bringing friends for sure to enjoy with us! A+++++

Great spot near the stream. Trailhead on site. Coffee shop across the street, not sure the hours, and another down into Rosman. Experienced great hospitality. Warm cabin, even for a cold night!

A great place on the river. The bed was broken and not comfortable at all. It does not have a k cup just a regular coffee pot. Bring coffee filters and not k cups. There is 2 pieces of wood going on to the deck that was rotten and I almost fell through. We only seen one porta potty for about 15 sites.

At The Ridge is a magical little campground tucked into the Pisgah National Forest. We visited at peak fall and the colors were absolutely stunning. A peaceful creek runs through the property, and we spent our evenings by the fire with the sound of water in the background. It felt like a fairytale. The grounds are well-kept, quiet, and beautiful. The hosts were so kind and even helped us park when we arrived after dark. Truly one of the best camping experiences we’ve ever had.

I got this cabin for my birthday and it was the perfect size for me and my friends. It’s in a beautiful spot near the parkway and has tons of hiking/waterfall options nearby. The campfire crackling by the creek was so soothing! Not to mention the stars at night…

Great spot & beautiful site! Right beside the creek so listening to the bubbling water all day & night was incredibly peaceful! Nice hookups conviently located, helpful hosts nearby, someone even placed our firewood under a picnic table while we were away MTB so it stayed dry when it rained… an incredibly simple but huge gesture! Also if you take a walk around the campground you will see ducks and trout. Thank you for having us & we are looking forward to coming back!!!

I want to list the things I liked about this campground first. I love the cute little cabin and the sound of the rushing water outside! I typically stay in a tent but since I was getting there after dark I decided to stay in this cabin. I had firewood but could not find any kindling anywhere close at night not to bother neighbors. So I went to bed early. The showers and toilets were seperate from each other and showers were very small and hard to maneuver getting dressed without getting clothes dirty or wet. I would recommend staying here if just passing through for 1 night. Also had no signal/ wifi

Loved sitting by the creek! The property is beautiful! Loved walking to the top of the hill. That was a nice little/short trail. Communicating with Carrie was easy. Tom was out everyday checking on campers needs. Really enjoyed the peace and quiet of this land! Thanks for opening your land to the public! Beautiful! Would stay again if in the area.

Another Great Adventure
#2 Riverside Great CAMPING Cabin
Second visit, different cabin. Perfect spot and the cabin is so darn cute! Definitely will be back woth my preschool aged granddaughter. I saw several small children having the best time catching crawdads and fishing in the shallow waters: Seen several other solo females in cabins as well, probably because the feeling of security nicely coupled with the nature that draws people to the area. Definitely one of my top recommendations for solo females. And I travel with my lab. The campground is dog friendly, as are cabins. Unlike other places with accommodations, there was no evidence of previous dogs in the cabin, especially not the ‘smell’ that often comes from dogs inside . The cleaning is done well enough to prevent any dog smell or hair from previous pups from hanging around for my visit. Take your well behaved dogs or children, and enjoy this special place.

Beautiful area and wonderful camp hosts!! I thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The road I took in was dirt, bumpy, and up the mountain but 215 was paved and smooth from Brevard. Suggest taking that way in! Carrie and Tom are so kind and great hosts! The river is peaceful and the bathrooms are cleaned daily. Highly recommend this campground!
