Like most folks who’ve been bitten by the water ski bug, I dreamed of having my own lake and when I met my life partner Harald, an elite slalom skier, my search began in earnest. By a combination of good timing and good luck, I was able to make that dream come true and in the spring of 2014 I acquired this land with the hopes of building my dream water ski lake on it. 7 years later, we have a thriving water ski club and are constantly making improvements to the site. We now have decided to add some sites for rent to share this incredible property with others outside the water ski community.
Site #1 is a small cabin that sleeps 3 and site #2 is a small houseboat that has been converted to a bunkie.
Onsite activities include use of a canoe and paddleboard. Use of a kid's swingset and olympic trampoline. Swimming and fishing.

The cabin includes a double Murphy bed, we supply all bedding. A Cot is available for a third person. The cabin is air-conditioned, has a small sitting area, fridge, Keurig coffee machine, and heater for the cooler nights in the fall. Firewood available. Washroom facilities include a hot shower ( bring your towels) and composting toilet within steps of the cabin. There is a propane BBQ and a Gazebo.
There is a beach and a public park a couple minute walk from the cabin. There is a 100 km bike trail within a 5-minute bike ride from the cabin. We offer the use of bikes, and kayaks when available and weather permitted. Grocery stores, restaurants, and small shops, are all centrally located within ten minutes from cabin. While you are in town you can watch Lakers and Ocean Boats go through the canal
Within 15 minute is Ridgeway and Crystal Beach which offers concerts, beaches and activities.
We are centrally located, approximately 25 minutes from Niagara Falls attractions like casino, museums, zip lining, jet boat tours, hiking in the gorge and other major attractions.

What a lovely bunkie! I agree with all the positive reviews. Giselle was a fantastic host, super communicative, warm, and chill! The cabin is a testament to how much they care—everything that we could have needed was there! Anything that we forgot to pack, Gisele provided! It was super cozy, and although the site was on their property, it still felt very private. This place has electricity, running water, hot water, and the best compost toilet set up I have ever seen.
The beach was BREATHTAKING. We went for a sunset walk and saw a bald eagle. A new core memory for us!!! There also was some runner ducks that visited us at the cabin, very cute!

Weekend Trip to Cabin close to Lake Erie and trails
This was our second time at Gisele and Vic’s cabin, and it was another great experience. We love the nearby sandy beach on Lake Erie — a very short walk from the cabin, and what a stunning view — as well as the local bike trails and the canal in Port Colborne, where we watched the ships. There is also plenty to do at the cabin, with lots of green space for activities like badminton and frisbee, and of course campfires at night. The cabin was well-stocked with everything we needed — coffee, tea, dishes, water, glasses, electrical outlets, and a BBQ/kitchen outside. Temperature in the cabin was always pleasant, and it was very quiet at night. Lots of seating options too — on the deck outside or by the campfire. For the combo of natural beauty, activities, and privacy/quiet at the cabin, this place can’t be beat. Gisele and Vic were also very thoughtful and accommodating of our needs. We hope to be back again for a third visit! Thank you, Gisele and Vic!

The cabin was very cute and a comfortable stay for a few days. The hosts left us many recommendations for things to do and places to eat during our stay. We had a few visitors, some really cute runner ducks and the groundhog that lives there. Would recommend if you want to be close to the beach and trails, and would like a quiet, peaceful stay.

Beth's spot in Port Dover is perfect. The backyard is private and cozy. My friend and I had the best time with our three pups enjoying the hot tub, having fires and grilling our food. Water in the shower was hot and had great pressure. Bed was comfy. Beth added lots of small touches like a note for us about the space, k cups for coffee and towels.
We made some day trips to Burning Kiln and Fisky Beaver wineries and Charlottesville brewing (all dog friendly), and enjoyed a stroll through Port Dover. Highly recommend for what feels like a very elevated camping experience!

Gisele’s property was very nice, we were greeted with a friendly welcome and a run down of where everything was. Gisele has many helpful appliances like fridge/freezer, BBQ, cooking utensils, and even a microwave. We would recommend walking the beach if you do stay here as it was very relaxing. I stayed two nights at Beth's cabin behind her house and enjoyed my time there so much. Beth has a special way of making the space feel like it has been dusted with a bit of magic. I loved the hanging chair, guitar that was there to play, space to do yoga and the hot tub for stargazing at night. There was a great juice bar in town and the beach was really close. I had rain one afternoon and did some writing and artwork at the outside table. It was perfect. I would love to book there again in the future. Thank you Beth, you were the perfect host.

4 nights at T's Pond
My husband and I stayed here in the little boathouse and we'll definitely be staying here again. If you like cozy and dont need a lot of room, this is the perfect spot. It's so quiet and peaceful. We like doing absolutely nothing, so we spent our time sitting under the gazebo, fishing, spending time in the water on our floaties, and watching people water ski. It's fun to bird watch as well. Keep your eyes out for belted kingfishers diving in the water for food.

Weekend Trip to Bruce Trail Bunkie
MJ was an amazing host! She was very welcoming and very helpful during our stay. The bunkie was very clean and spacious as well had everything we needed. The bunkie was very close to the trail as well the land on which it was had a great view and was very well kept. It was accesible for us despite not driving which makes it ideal for anyone looking to get away from the city without the stress or driving or renting a car. We loved our stay and would do it again.

We had an amazing time at the cabin. Gisele and Vic are fantastic hosts and have optimized the space for convenience and privacy. We had everything we needed like cookware and fridge access plus fun activities on site like badminton. Best of all, the beach is very close to walk to in a few short minutes. Highly recommend staying here!

Gisele's bunkie (I think that's how you would classify it) is so charming and just big enough for two people. The owners are very considerate toward privacy, are incredibly charming and nice, and are quite generous (bikes available, some free perks like water so you don't need to bring any, dish detergent, bbq, tea etc). They also extended a wonderful offer to come knock on their house door (which is quite close) if you find you need anything. If I had to critique anything, it would be that the sheet on the bed is truly only big enough for one person, and paper thin.
The AC works, but even on low it makes the room very cold (something Gisele did warn about), but without the AC on, it was too hot. So when you have the AC on, you need the blanket (especially if you like sleeping in the cold as I do), but there's not enough blanket, and it's not thick enough.
Honestly, a bigger, thicker optional second blanket would have made the trip perfect. Other than that, it was amazing and I'd come back again (with a blanket).
