We have a half acre lake front lot with privacy. We have access directly to the lake from the lot and a laneway for a small boat as well. There is fishing, paddle boarding, boating, hiking and walking on these quiet roads in the wilderness. The Bay of Fundy is down the road maybe 2-5 min. If you want peace and quiet then here it is, a nice fresh lot on a lake out in the middle of no where. We DO NOT have any any of the equipment (kayaks, paddle boards and fishing equip) there you must bring your own.
There is no washroom or electricity yet, so please be aware of this.

Crow Island rd. Is located on a peninsula in the bay of Fundy. There are many beaches, waterfalls and hiking paths in the area. There is an old graveyard on the peninsula directly across from the site & there is an unknown British soldier who washed ashore during the civil war & some of the locals buried him there. The tide pool is located at the tip of this peninsula. At the end of crow island rd. Is a lovely beach and crow island can be accessed by crossing the breakwater. There is a footpath all around the island. The Belding reef nature preserve is a short walk down Chance Harbour rd. Step over the chain gate at the end of the road and the trail head is on the left at the top of the hill. Just behind the church there is a short path to a beautiful Sandy beach that faces the wharf. At the end of Cranberry Head lane there is a Nordic spa, another gorgeous beach and a couple of waterfalls coming down the mountain.Learn more about this land:Bring your van or RV and enjoy the wonderful ocean views!This site has a bbq and 2 bistro sets. There is a deck on the hillside which overlooks the water. The water in the bay is much calmer which makes it ideal for water sports. The area is a haven for birdwatchers, nature lovers, and foragers. There is a tide pool for swimming at the edge of the property on the ocean side. Basically in front of the big rock. Please be mindful of the currents. There are also many deer, foxes, raccoons & porcupines on the peninsula so pets must be leashed. This also means there are ticks & fleas as well. We also have a pull-through site across the street that has no amenities other than a table. This site is reserved for trailers 35 feet and larger or for people with boats to put in.Belding Reef Nature preserve is a hiking trail just around the corner. Make our hobby farm your home base while you experience everything the beautiful Annapolis Valley has to offer! Our farm is nestled between two brooks and sheltered by the North Mountain, just outside the quaint village of Lawrencetown. Say hello to our friendly horses and sheep! Conveniently located 30 minutes east of Annapolis Royal, 50 minutes east of Digby, and 50 minutes west of Wolfville. There many lovely towns to stop in on your drive through the valley. You can be on the shore of the Bay of Fundy in 15 minutes. We are a 4 minute drive to the Annapolis Valley Exhibition grounds. With so many beaches, wineries, orchards, restaurants, trails and waterways nearby - you won't run out of things to do!
Enjoy your morning coffee while the sun rises over the North Mountain, and if you're lucky, a sighting of the deer that frequent the property. After a busy day spent exploring the valley, enjoy gazing up at the milky way (stargazing is incredible here with some of the darkest skies in North America) next to a crackling campfire. Fall asleep to the sounds of our brooks' gentle burbling, and coyotes howling in the distance.

This 3.5 acres of woodlot, situated in "Cottage Country" Nova Scotia is home to my canvas wall tent and a couple of sites for pitching tents.
The tent is cozy and has a woodstove for 4 season enjoyment, mattresses for single or double bed configuration.
This is part of "Cottage Country" and there are plenty of trails to hike or ski. There is lake access, but it isn't a great lake for swimming.

Andromeda House sits on 30 beautiful acres, stretching from our waterfront to the top of the Mountain. Perched dramatically above the Annapolis Basin, the views here are truly awe-inspiring—and only get more breathtaking as one explores higher up on the property.
Our path network is maintained for access to the very satisfying “Upper Lookout”. This path continues and you might just find your hosts working on this area. There are also various mountain access roads provide terrific hiking and mountain biking opportunities. Photography, rock hounding, mushroom hunting and star gazing are ideal activities. Birders in particular should be pleased.
The property has been in our family for generations and an old sled path winds through and up it. We are also developing a spring-fed swimming pond this summer.
Currently, we have new fields of sunflowers and wildflowers to attract pollinators—bumble bees, hummingbirds and monarch butterflies are especially abundant here. Wild apple trees abound and there is a stand of old maple trees we will be tapping next spring. Beyond that is a mature Beech and Poplar forest.
We are within walking distance to Victoria Beach, an authentic fishing village nestled at the base of the north mountain and surrounded by the Annapolis Basin, the Digby Gut and the Bay of Fundy.

Wow the pictures looked good but being there was a whole other kind of beauty. The spot is tranquil and perfect, Karen and Ben have everything you could possibly need! The cabin was nice and cozy at night and the view of the stars is incredible! Definitely already planning a return trip!

Our family of four enjoyed the solitude this cabin on a small lake offered for a much needed staycation. We enjoying resting in the hammock and the gentle rhythm the decks rocking chair provided. We brought our own, but there are several fishing rods available and ready to use. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. Looks like there’s going to be some upcoming renovations to the cabin so we can’t wait to see what’s coming up next at Grumpy Bear Hollow!

Directions were clear to get to site, hosts were quick to respond to various queries & had done their research on DNR regulations & how they applied to their properties in light of the forest fire, trail access, & burn ban situation surrounding my visit. Sit was clear & as described. Wagon provided was functional & easy to use to navigate a trail from the parking to the site.

Owl's Hollow is the perfect place for a getaway - Karen and Ben have truly thought about everything! In the Hut there was a book about forest bathing, and their property is truly the epitome of it - peaceful, serene and therapeutic. The beautiful views, steps from access to the lake and the added conveniences (chairs, structures, water, etc.) is unbeatable. Karen was quick to respond, kind and very accommodating. Looking forward to coming back!

We have done a lot of camping with our kids. We first discovered this spot last fall and swore we’d be back in the warmer months to enjoy the lake more. This was one of our favourite camping trips to date. The location is amazing. The facilities are fantastic. It’s clean, organized, has SOOO much included for enjoying the water. Kayaks, paddle boards, canoe, and even has waterproof phones cases. Our kids (and dog) thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the trip. We spent hours on, and in, the lake. The shaded area of the camp site was perfect for the heat wave, as was the lake!

We stayed for 2 nights my boyfriend and I. We LOVED our stay at the ranch!!! So quiet and peaceful 😇! It was nice to wake up the mornings in our little RV with a beautiful view on the horses and the sheeps 🐴🐑. Alexa was a excellent host with us and she gave us many good suggestions for activities near the neighborhood. Thus, I personally loved to have access to a lovely shower for guests near our RV before going to bed🚿. We recommand this place 😇!

We enjoyed our stay at Alexa's place. When we arrived we were very friendly greeted by her husband. After we parked our trailer he showed us around the well maintained property and gave us some dininng suggestions.
The camp spot is nestled beside trees near a brook. There was a picknick table and a fire pit with chairs.
The shower in the woods is one of a kind. Everything was very clean.
We definitely come back.

We absolutely adored our time here! The attention to a campers needs and all the details blew us away. It was so nice to be remote but still feel safe and connected. The cooking hut was a great touch, and we loved having our morning coffee in the chairs. We really appreciated the water that was provided by the host. When you go ensure that you bring extra lights (such as lamp or head lamp) and we had bug nets plus a fly zapper that came in handy! Overall it was an unreal experience, and we felt so taken care of for being in the woods! We would absolutely recommend and intend on going back again!
