We own 58 acres of forest centered on a very old shale pit near Crescent Beach, Nova Scotia. Our long-term mission is to regenerate the landscape, returning all of the property to a forest in time. We hope to establish small camping compounds for family, friends and guests who would like to stay with us and enjoy the amazing scenery of Nova Scotia's beautiful South Shore. Located just below Huey Lake, our property is watered by a stream that flows from the lake, through a series of tiny waterfalls in a gorge, through beautiful pine, maple, and oak forest down to a meandering wetland that drains into the Petite Riviere watershed. Beavers are active in the area and have already begun the process of returning the old quarry to the wilderness. Their activities have created deep ponds where once there was a pit dug from the land for the shale that is abundant in this area. The beavers dammed and diverted the stream which has created a pond and wetland system at the lower end of the property. If you are very quiet in the early morning you may get to see Castor as he busily swims about his watery home. Located near some of the most beautiful features of Lunenburg County, our property is a 5-minute drive from Crescent Beach, Risser's Beach Provincial Park, and Petite Riviere. Opportunities to cycle, hike, swim, canoe, kayak, surf and sail are all around us.

It was sold to a man who started renovations for a summer house but ended up listing it for sale. I purchased it and completely renovated the 100-year-old house. Shortly after, my brother and I started an outfitting company with no plan of building a campground, but in 2017 we saw a great opportunity for building something unique. We wanted to keep a backwoods camping feel, but yet create it around a hostel-inspired environment. We launched June 1, 2018 and are in full swing now. For the golf enthusiasts, we are just 5 min away from the water front Brule Point Golf Course and for world class golfing experience we are just 30 minutes from the Fox Harbor Golf Resort. Our property is mainly made up of open spaces with few trees, we have an abundant of Pic-nic areas with oversized pic-nic tables are placed along the ocean front so guests can have an unforgettable gathering with friends and family. With steps down to our premium beach front and a walk out dock for our kayakers, the property has easy access to the water for kayaking, swimming and we have a small boat launch for personal water crafts during high tides. Come check out this one-of-a-kind property! All ocean front tenting / RV sites have no services available if you want access to power and water you will have to book one of the sites that have services to it. We only have seven serviced sites available to our guests.

We offer a glamping experience that will be hard to beat. Offering unique full service units, Tent and RV sites. Recognized Superhost with Airbnb and voted #3 in Nova Scotia for Best Hipcamp in 2022 Open year round, for those who enjoy winter camping. Near by you’ll find Sea Glass beach (aka Spindlers Beach), The Ovens Natural Park, Sand Dollar Beach, Hirtles Beach, Oxners Beach (usually peaceful), Gaff Point Hiking Trail, Indian Path Common Trails, and Kingburg beach to name a few. For shopping locally we have The Rose Bay General Store and Bistro with NSLC Outlet. You’ll find convenience items, seasonal produce, fresh baked goods, take out and dine in eating, a great selection of imported Specialty items, and authentic Nova Scotian products. A great spot to stop on the way back from the beach for a bite to eat and supplies. We also have the Bayport Pub at the beginning of Feltzen South Road. With Great pub classics and fresh hot fish and chips, you’ll want to let them handle the cooking for a night, but make sure to leave room for the best Ice Cream around. Blueberry Run Trail RV Site

Learn more about this land: 1 private premium site for a self contained RV, Travel Trailer or Camper Van on private land with no other campers near you. No Tenting or car camping permitted. (This is not a campground. There is only 1 site.) The site has a potable water tap, 20 amp electrical outlet and Free high speed WiFi at the site. If you require black water service, a portable tank is available to book in the addon section of your booking. The tank can hold 80 litres or 21 Gallons. If you require more black water capacity, you can add an extra dump for am extra fee and we will empty the tank and return it for the extra dump. Gray Water can be released into the drain on-site for the shower, sink water discharge etc. The site is a solid gravel covered surface that is level. There is a gravel pad section in front of the site that has a picnic table and a fire pit. Firewood is available for sale and will be delivered to the site upon request. There is also a NEW Hardtop Gazebo in 2024 installed on a new wood deck platform that has mosquito netting for added comfort. The Trans Canada trail is in front of the site where you can walk, bike, ATV or horseback ride. Porters Lake, Lawrencetown Beach, Porters Lake shopping center and restaurants are only 10 minutes away. 20 minute drive to Dartmouth or 40 minutes to downtown Halifax. There is also a café within walking distance called Rose to Rooster. Park your trailer or RV and explore the trails, beaches, lakes and hidden gems this community has to offer. Bring your outdoor games, bikes and your camping chairs and let your adventure begin with us. If you surf, we are a surfing destination and we welcome surfers to stay with us and be close to the action (within 10 minutes.) The site and community is L.G.B.T.Q.I.A.+ safe and everyone is welcome. Cannabis is legal here and can be purchased at the local Government NSLC in Porters Lake.
