Learn more about this land:You will share the large private treed yard with other cabins, however, each cabin has plenty of private space to enjoy outdoors.Fully equipped kitchen with everything you may need for your  food preparation, full-size appliances, coffee maker, toaster, BBQ and lawn chairs. We are within walking distance of a few local restaurants. We will offer bathrooms very soon, but there are clean and comfortable showers a 1-minute drive away and a bio-toilet is on the premises.There are also outdoor fire pits for you to enjoy a campfire.

The cabin sleeps two people. We have a fire-pit & BBQ. There is also a nice outhouse and a hose for water.We have friendly sheep, mini donkeys, chickens rabbits and a horse.Please drive slowly when on our property as the animals  run free

Lake Winnipeg Beachfront Meadow

This grassy field fronts on Lake Winnipeg beach, affording access to swimming, windsurfing, kayaking, campfire (conditions permitting), etc.

Beautiful sunrises/sunsets, birding, 5 minutes from Hnausa General Store and fishing from Hnausa Dock.

We have one campsite available for tent and RV campers. If you're bringing an RV, we can accommodate vehicles up to 45ft in length and the site is flat.

Campfires are permitted as long as there is no fire ban.

Pets are welcome.

If you're bringing an RV, we can accommodate vehicles up to 40ft in length and the site is flat (electrical hookup available).Grass cut with access to power, fire pit, outhouse, electrical plug-in, and picnic table.East and west sites available, windbreaks from live edge wood fort walls, lighted area at night.Campfire permitted, pets are welcome.

Camp under the stars and let the prairie breeze flow past your tent. 

Close to Selkirk, Manitoba, for all your essential needs. 

You will likely see us hammering away in our blacksmith shop - Cloverdale Forge is located on the same property.

Bring your own tents or van/truck campers! 

If you're bringing a camper, the sites are flat and can accommodate vehicles up to 20ft long (electrical hookup available).

Option to camp on mowed grass or in a pine grove. 

Amenities include a toilet, potable water, wifi, and a picnic table.

Our property is only a few miles from Lower Fort Garry National Historic Site and Selkirk, Manitoba, where there is easy access to the Red River.

The porch is available for sitting and reading. 

Prairie Winds is a mix of open fields and trees, surrounded by farm fields. 

Outdoor shower available during the warmer months. 

Forested Meadow at Beach Resort

This 45-acre property is the original farm homestead of the Kozak family. Since 1996, the land has been stewarded and enhanced by Cheryl Cohan and Noah Erenberg and is now home to Nature On! Matlock Biodiversity Retreat and Horticultural Therapy Centre.

There are 3 different listings to choose from: Deluxe Wall Tent in Forest Meadow, Bunkie in Forest Meadow, and Tent Camping in Forest Meadow. We have something for everyone, no matter the type of camper that you are!

The surrounding area includes the beautiful and quaint, resort village of Dunnottar bordering along with the property: Matlock main beach on Lake Winnipeg’s southwest shore is just a three-minute walk away as is the hiking trail that meanders northward through Whytewold, Ponemah and up to Winnipeg Beach. Dunnottar Sports Courts for tennis and basketball as well as Julia’s Restaurant are a short one block to the east; Matlock General Store is a ten-minute walk to the north; many more amenities and attractions are available to explore throughout the Interlake, with lots to see and do in nearby Winnipeg Beach, Gimli, Camp Morton, Riverton, Arborg, etc.

The property has many trails throughout the forest and meadow that are walkable all year round. There is a porta-potty on the property centrally located near the accommodations. There is a water hose available with cold water only. There are no showers.
