Welcome to Tween Lakes Outdoors, a peaceful escape in the heart of rural Saskatchewan. Rooted in a rich grain-farming history, our property now focuses on an outdoor-based lifestyle, offering guests a unique opportunity to reconnect with the land. We are blessed with a beautiful countryside teeming with wildlife—including deer, moose, bears, and waterfowl—making this a premier destination for a holistic, natural experience. Our expansive property provides the absolute solitude and wide-open spaces that define the spirit of the prairies. Whether you are seeking a quiet sanctuary to unplug or a scenic basecamp for outdoor adventure, you will find a welcoming atmosphere and plenty of room to explore. The terrain offers a mix of natural bush and open fields, providing the perfect backdrop for birdwatching, photography, or simply soaking in the vast Saskatchewan skies. Campsites are designed for travelers who appreciate a primitive, off-grid experience and can accommodate traditional tents, campervans, and self-contained RVs. Please note that as a dedicated dry camping destination, there are no hookups or restroom facilities available on-site. All guests must arrive fully self-contained and follow leave-no-trace principles to help preserve the natural integrity of the land. Beyond the property, you are perfectly positioned to enjoy the region’s famous hunting opportunities and pristine beauty. Whether you are passing through on a cross-country journey or looking for a deep dive into the wilderness, Tween Lakes Outdoors offers a memorable connection to the great outdoors. We look forward to hosting your next adventure and sharing this special piece of the prairies with you. Would you like me to focus a version specifically on the hunting opportunities, or perhaps one that emphasizes the "stargazing" aspect of the open prairies?

About

Explore the site of what was once the first capitol of the North West Territories and the inaugural headquarters of the North West Mounted Police (NWMP). Tread carefully on the rocky ground, avoiding the red-sided garter snakes which thrive on this barren land and imagine the desolation felt by the first troops of the NWMP as they marched here under Commander French to bring Canadian law to the prairies.
