Had a lovely couple of nights staying in the School bus. Our ferry was cancelled but Karen & Kito were very flexible and let us reshuffle our trip with no stress. Bus was fully kitted and has everything you need for a short stay. Bed was ridiculously comfortable!

Weekend Trip to Living the Dream in Roberts Creek

It was overall a great camping experience. Dave and Elke were very accomodating,friendly, and treated us like family.Dave was prompt in answering questions and gives clear instructions. The area has portalet,propane fire pit and canopy which is a great bonus. The place is a 5min walk from the beach and the town centre.We recommend staying here when visiting Sunshine Coast.

Very cute and quiet spot! We initially booked 2 nights at Tiny Secrets but extended another 2- the location was perfect for us to bop around to all the places we wished to visit on the Sunshine Coast- from Gibsons to Egmont. We liked that it was off the highway, quiet, and our site was tucked at the top of the property and received a lot of sunshine. A perfect and humble spot for a weekend getaway.

We spent a week there, had the whole place to ourselves. Was very quiet. We are in a motorhome so were self contained and didn’t have to use their facilities.

What a beautiful spot! The cabin was cozy for my family of 4 and a dog but was a great “in between” camping and an Airbnb. So many thoughtful touches the kitchen really has everything you need. The facilities were clean and shower water hot! We hiked every day with the Smugglers Cove a big hit. Truly a magically little area of BC. We will be back!

We stayed in the renovated school bus for the weekend. The whole property is like a magical little get away and the bus was comfy and cozy during the rain :) The owners were friendly and the dogs and chickens kept us entertained. Come for a weekend to enjoy some of great hikes in the area or just take the time to rest in this little paradise- you won’t regret it!

4 nights at Tiny Secrets Farm & Retreat

We stayed in the A-frame micro-cabin for 5 days. We are already dreaming of our next visit! Despite getting the "atmospheric river" vacation treatment, it had virtually all the amenities you could ask for in for a rainy day of off-grid living. It was beautiful and felt quiet (minus all the chorus frogs at night :D) and luxurious. The hosts were responsive and friendly, we even got some doggo time as they let their dogs roam near the chicken coop. Couldn't ask for a better "glamp" experience!

I loved our stay on this magical school bus! Karen and Tito had the bus cleaned and ready before we’ve arrived. They provided us with clear instructions and a guide for our stay. Although I did not get a chance to meet them, they were extremely communicative through text to ensure we arrived safely. This is one of the coolest experiences I’ve ever had. I also had the best sleep of my life! I would recommend this to everyone that is looking for a glamping experience.

The bus is adorable and cozy! There were some issues, apparently caused by some recent inclement weather, but the hosts are incredibly sweet and were very responsive to fix things as they came up. The "magic sack" was an especially nice touch to help unwind, and that bed is insanely comfortable! Many thanks to Karen, Kito, and Amos.

We’ve stayed at Evonne & Darrell’s on a couple of occasions now and enjoyed our experience both times. They are wonderful and thoughtful hosts and their property is very beautiful and well maintained thanks to their hard work and dedication. The first time we camped and the second time we stayed in the little cabin. We loved both experiences and hope to come back again in the future.

I cannot express enough how special my stay at Karen and Kito's Tiny Secrets Farm & Retreat was. The Cabin's are unique and very well designed for comfort, fun features and a joy to stay in with windows all around for viewing the forest. The Micro cabin was a cozy, healing space for me with environmentally respectful features such as rainwater collection for the sink and water filter, compost for food scraps and compost outhouse. The layout of the farm's cabins and tent sites is sensitive to the natural layout of the land and creative touches are everywhere. I am definitely coming back again for a beautiful and restful stay. Thank you Karen and Kito.

I loved the Schoolie. We stayed there for two nights but would have been happier with much longer. It was cozy, warm (even in December), and had everything we needed - from kitchen supplies to wifi. The hosts were gracious, generous and responsive. And the sunset wasn't bad either. It was a beautiful escape and I'll treasure the memories. Would certainly recommend. Thank you :)

2 nights at Forest Sanctuary

I camped in many places, but I’ve never camped in a place quite like this! From the time that I met Christian, he was so welcoming and warm and took the extra time to show me the land he has so lovingly curated for people like me, looking for a sanctuary from everyday life. To say that he went above and beyond to make my experience a memorable one from the start is an understatement! This time of the year, I was the only person camping, but I felt so completely at home and surrounded by such amazing forest and land. The location is great, if you’re looking for wonderful places to eat in either direction, as well as being really close to water. Christian is also taking the time to put together a list of places to eat, things to go do, places to go hike, etc. I wish I could have stayed another day or so, but I will be back! My drive to get to the destination was 2000 miles and included a ferry, and I wouldn’t change it for a thing. It was such an adventure, I can’t wait to be back!

Hi. My name is Christian and welcome to my beautiful Forest Sanctuary on the slopes of Mt. Elphinstone in Roberts Creek on the Sunshine Coast. My property is a magical, private nature retreat created in the spirit of love and reverence for the land on which it is built. It is a sanctuary to nurture the body, mind and spirit. A place to come back to One's Self. I have taken a piece of forest and transformed it into a Premium camping experience with pastures, terraces, pathways, a pond and island, level campsites with grass and sand and a communal outdoor pavilion lounge with fully stocked kitchen at your disposal. A large communal campfire is available. I have solar showers too. This is a magnificent place to bring the kids, a wonderful place to hang with friends and family, a peaceful place for lovers and a great place to come on your own to remember how awesome and talented you really are. I can accommodate larger groups, workshops and parties. Ask me about renting the entire site for private gatherings. My fully stocked pavilion, kitchen and lounge has all the cookware, dishware and utensils needed to prepare your meal. There is also a BBQ and Coleman stove with propane provided. Please note I am two kms up a well maintained private gravel road. 2 wheel drive vehicles are ok.

Overview

Between Vancouver and Whistler on British Columbia's Sea-to-Sky Highway (Highway 99), Squamish is a fantastic place for RVers to take an overnight break or linger for a longer stay. If you’re coming by RV, you’ll have your choice of camping options, from Stawamus Chief Provincial Park, which offers first-come, first-served campsites suitable for small RVs and campervans to Alice Lake Provincial Park, which accepts reservations. There are also loads of private Hipcamps that welcome RV campers with full hookups, picnic tables, and camp kitchens. Just remember that Squamish is very popular at any time of year, so it’s never a bad idea to reserve your spot well in advance. Summer draws in kayaking, rock-climbing, windsurfing, and stand-up paddleboarding enthusiasts, while winter snowfalls make the area a good spot for snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and Nordic skiing. Birding and angling are popular year-round.
