We loved camping at this spot, one of the best camp trips we've ever had. Great, friendly hospitality from Dean and Debbie and everything you would need for a great camping experience, including chopped firewood, wifi and drinking water right by the site. Beautiful sunrise and sunsets as well, and a lovely lounge area for cooking/washing dishes/hanging out, we will definitely return again when possible!

I had a short stay at Bear Rd camp. Todd reviewed a few things to enjoy in the area, including kayaking on a nearby lake and some of the views to see, and local off-grid areas, including an abandoned mine in the area. He is a wonderful person as he explained the edible berries and reviewed his local community with me. He was attentive to your needs.

The space Todd set up for Bear Flats is fantastic. He was an exceptional host, showing us around the property, pointing out berry bushes we could pick, and he laid out a campfire with wood. (Unfortunately it rained) it’s an excellent secluded and quiet space, but very close to the lake for kayaking. I’ll definitely come back again next summer!

Second time staying here and it’s even better than the first! Todd our host is super sweet and goes out of his way to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. He’s also very knowledgeable about the local area and can recommend sights and places to go. There was a fire pit stocked with wood and adirondack chairs surrounding it. There’s a lake not far where you can kayak and overall the property is beautiful and so quite. Definitely recommend and we’ll be back next year hopefully for a longer stay and will look forward to using the outdoor shower currently under construction!

Communications with Ryan were easy and he quickly answered any questions we had. Our stay at the Wild Turkey Nest was one of the highlights of our journey on the Selkirk Loop. The campsite was spacious and had everything we could need, and the host was welcoming and informative. Our stay at the Watershed Campground was excellent. The set up was amazing and comfortable. The owners have clearly put a lot of thought into what they are doing. Access to the beach was very nice and relaxing. The calmness in the morning while watching the fish rise sipping on morning coffee was a great way to start the day. A nice way to start the day and fill the soul. We were just staying the night while traveling along the Selkirk Loop. We had a delightful conversation with Rod upon arrival and had a nice greeting by the huskies on the way to the river. Despite having it rain on us all night, it was a very comfortable stay. We would highly recommend it for anyone who is passing through the area.

The set up was amazing, the views were excellent, and the hosts were incredibly friendly. The shower house was clean and appreciated. Wood, water, and electricity are available to those who need it. It was a very nice stay for us. We were just staying the night while traveling along the Selkirk Loop. We had a delightful conversation with Dean. He shared his connection and knowledge of the area as well as the future plans for the site. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay. We would highly recommend it for anyone who is passing through the area.

Had an absolutely incredible weekend with my brother and our friends. The geodome was so cool, and the prospectors cabin was awesome! The wood stove kept us cozy while it rained. Disc golf, giant beer pong, corn hole, axe throwing, all great fun. Ryan was an excellent host and we are already planning our next trip!
