Guests also have access to a communal outdoor kitchen area with a dishwashing station, fridge, barbecue, and smoker. Potable water, a washing machine, and hot showers are included in the nightly rate. All campsites are easily accessible and offer amazing lake views. We provide clean porta-potty washrooms and free, on-demand hot showers. Trash removal is the responsibility of each guest. There is ample overflow parking for boats. It can be muddy and bumpy while the road awaits its winter repairs. We are one hour outside of Kamloops on a maintained public gravel road, however AWD or 4WD recommended during late fall to late spring. We have no minimum stay but highly recommend two nights. Do not use google maps to find our place - it can be very confusing. Google maps may show coming to our property from Savona but the easiest drive is from Kamloops. Please use the directions that get emailed to you just before your stay. To get here head to the Kamloops airport then follow Tranquille Criss Creek Road. We do not recommend traveling this road in the dark if you are not familiar with it! Wonderfully private! Come give our land some love as it recovers from the 2021 Sparks Lake forest fire. Acres and acres to hike, mountain bike and snowshoe. Surrounded by crown land there is no lack of space to explore and easy access to forest service roads to quad and bike. Many lakes near by for fishing and kayaking. Wildlife galore! There are wild flowers and plants so come forage and explore. Disconnect from the busyness of city life! Heads up: Being right off Hwy 1 means it can get noisy with traffic sometimes. If you're a light sleeper, just a heads up. Here, you’ll see chickens, geese, goats, sheep, and two friendly farm dogs roaming around. The dogs can be a bit rambunctious at first—our white pup is still full of energy, while the black dog is older and more chill. Both are harmless and love making new friends. There’s always something going on—we’re a working farm, so it’s a little rustic and a lot authentic. This isn’t a Pinterest-perfect farm — it’s real, with imperfections and a work in progress. We can only accommodate fully contained units at this time. You’re just 5 minutes by car from Canoe Beach and downtown Salmon Arm, and only a 5-minute walk to Setters Pub and Northyards Cidery if you want to keep it local. If you're looking for more options, we're happy to share some recommendations! What else? • Propane fire pit and tank rental: $45 per stay, with refills available for $40. • Tent rental: We have a 2-person tent for $20 if you want it for your stay. Please pack it up when you leave, and let us know if anything gets damaged. • Campfires: We’re allowed one campfire on the property at a time (local regs), so if someone’s already there, don’t be shy — it’s communal. Share the space and enjoy yourself. • Mosquitoes: They’re part of the package—bring bug spray! • Bats: You might see some flying around at night—nature’s little helpers. We’re still growing and improving the farm, so if you notice anything broken or off, please let us know so we can fix it quickly. Chris was a very friendly host; we booked last minute but he was able to accommodate us and was very welcoming. The sign for the campsite was a little tricky to find in the dark, but I’m sure during the day this would be easier. We enjoyed the outdoor shower too!

We loved the camping there! The two hosts were super nice people and we ended up chatting quite a while while they showed us around. The campsite is very nice too: the pit toilet has a water bucket to wash hands and soap. Each campsite has a picknick table. There was only one other guest that night, so it was relatively privat. Would absolutely recommend.

The general store has literally everything you need - store, gift shop , liquor store , cannabis store and laundramat all in one. The trails are great. Highly recommend and will definitely be back

We loved the camping at Shauna’s land. She and her husband were so welcoming and kind. It was very easy to get to the place, we stayed there on our way to the Rockies. They already had one tent setup and offered us to use it. Since we arrived when it was dark, we were very thankful for this option. I would stay there again and definitely recommend it!

NOTE: Double check the destination if tapping directly from the Hipcamp app to Google Maps because the first place it sent us was down the wrong road. We had to type in the actual address, then we got there okay.

I had such a wonderful stay at Shauna and Dwayne’s campsite! The property is so peaceful and scenic, and I feel really lucky to have experienced it Thank you for sharing your property with me! They’ve put so much thought into the little details, she gave me a cute map that made it easy to find my way around, and even had a little rope trail down to the creek. Communication was great, and they were so welcoming. I even got to join them in feeding their neighbour’s horses, which was such a special touch. In the morning, they shared the Yoga deck with me and i got to drink my coffee with a gorgeous view of the ranch! The campsite, was spaced out and had a nice picnic table and firepit, and clean toilet. Overall, it was a peaceful, well-kept, and really memorable stay. Highly recommend!
