I consider it the closest thing to paradise. The first you'll need to know about this property is that it's only accessible by boat. This is what makes the campsite so secluded and peaceful. Transportation to and from the island is included with your stay. The stunning 15 minute boat ride to and from Nile Point is one of the many things that makes this a truly unique experience. The second thing you'll need to know is that we offer TWO SITES on the property, a 10x16 TENT PLATFORM and a OCEANFRONT CANVAS TENT WITH ENSUITE (NEW!) with king size bed, in-tent ensuite bathroom and fully stocked outdoor kitchen with potable water, bar fridge and BBQ We have one canoe, one one-person kayak, a two-person kayak, and some paddleboards. Bring your own water exploring devices if you wish. Our beach is rocky (it ain't a sandy beach!), so bring your good water/rock shoes! This is a great place to stay and explore if you love the wild. It's off the grid, so if you want to unplug from devices and do nothing but relax or play in the ocean and explore the forest, it's perfect. We did end up booking a tour with them of their place which was truly spectacular and original. Me and my parter have already discussed when we will return next. Weekend Trip to Field Sites & Secluded Tent Sites

We loved tent camping on Paul's property, we drove around and looked at every site and ended up picking site 8 for it's privacy and cute little pond area, though we would have been ecstatic with any of the sites as they were all private and tidy. Boyd and Ace (resident campers we ran into) were also very kind and Ace was fun to pet! (He's a dog haha) the ocean was walking distance away which was also very nice. Paul even offered to deliver firewood to us and build us a cozy campfire! Would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a secluded, private, clean place to camp. We'll definitely be back next year!

Quiet corner, safe, and beautiful night sky. I stayed here so I could have a short trip to the airport for my early morning flight. I would stay again.

After this pic was taken, we added a 10x10 canopy (with walls), for sleeping, or getting some shade. Also, there is additional covered kitchen space. Space for all your sporting equipment, and if you want to bring 2 more people, you can pitch your tent on the deck. Let me know about additional occupants thanks!

We loved the open-air experience of our glamping tent, located near a beautiful stretch of beach near Oyster River. We walked our dog along the community trail every morning, and we spent many evenings on the beach. The tent ambiance is cozy, with a cushy bed, armchairs, and even braided rugs on the floor. The "kitchen" is very basic but supplied all we needed.

Great host! Paul really cares for his property and set up a bunch of lovely, private, level, spaced out options(watch for slugs in the grass if you venture out on warm summer nights.) Came back for a second night knowing that finding something else in a busy holiday weekend was like playing chicken:) neighboring campers were all quiet and friendly and Paul was accessible if we needed anything. Nice touches like signage and clearly marked spot, clean potty, water. Thanks for giving us a nice spot on our journey! Probably one of the best most welcoming hip camps we have ever stayed in!!!! Would definitely recommend a stay here. Close to fun mountain biking and beach resort and lake options too. Thanks!

2 nights at Tyee Valley Farm

Colin’s hip camp is great. Very clean (including the toilet), and nice Adirondack chairs at each campsite (or table/chairs at walk-in). Colin was very kind and knowledgeable of the area. It’s about 15-20 min from Courtney. Beautiful country roads surround the property.

Quiet and private site. There were only a few other campers there. We stayed in campsite #4 which was great. No neighbors. Easy to find and easy to book on this busy holiday week. Water available from the spigot and there’s a single outhouse.

If you want quiet, clean, an 5 minutes walk to the ocean, and no mosquitoes, this is the place for you! We loved all those qualities and would love to go back.
