We have a 7 acre developing hobby farm currently with fruit trees, a garden, a king shepherd named Jack and a cat named Lulu. You may see some of our neighbour's ducks walking around and hear their rooster in the morning. Please note; our driveway is an uphill, switchback driveway so long trailers are not a fit for our location. Front wheel or 4 wheel is a plus but typically all vehicles can make it up our driveway. We have 2 swimming holes near and backing our property. At the back of the property is Hayward Lake/Hairsine Creek which is great for swimming. Inflatable paddle boards are the way to go if you wish to paddle board in the lake since it would be difficult portaging a rigid paddle board down the Crown Land trail. On the front is the Stave River Runoff. This has trails and is ideal if you have smaller children as the water is a bit warmer and has shallow areas. There are hiking trails in the area and a beach area a short drive from the sites.

Glamp camping is open until the end of September. (we provide everything except your food, drinks and personal items!) Enjoy the beautiful acres right on the Chilliwack River! A wonderful family-friendly (including pets!) getaway with endless activities nearby. (no pets allowed for glamping) Our campsite is available in the spring and summer and is just 20 minutes from the city of Chilliwack, BC. We provide a fire pit and campfires are allowed as long as there is no fire ban. The sites are quite private but there will be other campers nearby. We try to keep a large amount of space between sites and some are separated by trees. We are a walk in tent only site- parking is very close, 30 second walk. We can also provide access to electricity so you can charge your phones or other devices if needed. There is no cell reception, but we do have wifi. Potable water is available. We supply natural spring water but you must bring your own jug. We live in an adventure playground! Activities nearby include hiking, white rapid river rafting, fishing, watching bald eagles, Cultus Lake water slides and adventure park, mountain biking, and more! The stargazing at night is beautiful as there is no light pollution here. We look forward to hosting you!

We had a wonderful weekend getaway at Riverside Glamping. The hosts, Lisa and James were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The site was exactly as described and all we needed to bring was food and personal items. The site itself was gorgeous and private. The yurt was beautifully done and very comfortable. We will be back for sure!

It's a really great place. The host was also very kind, and the atmosphere of the harmonious family was particularly nice. The glamping site has everything, and the shower and toilets, which were of great concern, were really clean. The glamping site was full of romance and the host was kind. The disadvantage is that the network doesn't work, but it's slow because there's Wi-Fi, but Internet access is possible. The bathroom is clean and the glamping site I thought was to sleep in a poor environment for a day, but this place was so nice! +) It's a pity that I couldn't say hello to three pugs in the morning. My friend and I really loved this place. Facing the river view. The set up is reallly cute and cozy and they have everything prepared. Although the day we went was pouring but it was a really relaxing for us… The hosts are super friendly and nice !!!! I would love to come here again on the days that are not raining !!!

I loved glamping on Lisa and James’ land! They are wonderful hosts, and I felt very welcome and comfortable during my stay. The property is beautiful - right by the river with mountain views you can enjoy from your private deck. The tent was amazing too! It’s set amongst the trees, which provide perfect shade on a hot, sunny day. I had everything I needed to cook, relax, and enjoy myself.

The tent was as beautiful as in photos. It’s equipped with everything you need, from fan, to heater, and even head lamps. The mini fridge even had a small freezer space. The river right across is amazing, we were even able to catch some rainbow trouts. The hosts were very welcoming as well. Will definitely come back!

My son and his friend had such a fantastic time staying at Brent and Sherri’s campsite! From the very start, Sherri and Brent were incredibly helpful, friendly, and extremely accommodating. Their communication was amazing — always quick to respond and willing to answer any questions. They truly went above and beyond to make the stay enjoyable. The boys especially loved having kayaks available to rent, which became one of the highlights of their trip. They had so much fun out on the water. I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out, and my son couldn’t stop talking about how great it was. I would 100% recommend staying at Hayward Farms, we will definitely be booking with them again. Thanks again for everything !

My daughter (14) and I loved our overnight getaway in The Grove Glamp Site (Site 4). Communication was prompt, friendly and helpful prior, it was very easy to find, and both Brent and Sherri briefly checked in once on site to ensure we knew how to use everything and had what we needed. The site and tent itself are spacious, clean, peaceful, and beautiful. Everything was very comfortable and easy - we just had to pack our food and clothed and show up! There were even a few games provided. The short hike to the lake was totally manageable and we loved hopping the floating bridges and dipping our feet in the water. Bring a sleep mask and earplugs so the sun nor the rooster wake you up and you’re golden!

Where to go

Sasquatch Provincial Park

Sasquatch Provincial Park is a beloved region known for its collection of small lakes, stunning second-growth birch forests, extensive biodiversity, and of course, stunning views of BC’s imposing mountain ranges. Spanning more than 1,200 hectares, Sasquatch Park has something for everyone—boat across the lakes (or take advantage of paddleboard rentals in town), enjoy a day of tranquil fishing, or choose from three light, on-site hikes. Afterwards, enjoy an evening at a riverside campground or glamping spot—ideally, complete with a hot tub.

Mount Outram

For campers in search of a more challenging hike, Mt. Outram is the go-to spot. Featuring over 18 kilometres of trails to explore, this rugged hike displays BC’s natural beauty. Find the way through uphill switchback climbs through the pine, cedar, and fir trees until finally breaking into the subalpine region. From here, technical skills are required to handle the final scramble, navigating boulders and scree to finally reach the unbelievable vista at the summit. After a tough hike well done, relax at a creek campground, recreation site with full hookups and firepits, or a quiet RV park.

If undeveloped, wild nature is the draw to BC, then Silver Lake Provincial Park tops the list of must-see locations. At 77 hectares, these lakefront lands are home to countless species of plants and animals (including black bears, so proceed with caution), as well as breathtaking views of nearby mountain ranges. Silver Lake Park is a great spot for a boat cruise, canoeing trip, or for a short hike and a picnic to take in the beautiful Skagit Valley.

When to go

Camping season in Hope, BC is best enjoyed in late spring, summer, and early fall. Since Hope is located in a temperate rainforest, other times of year tend to be very rainy (on average 20 cm of rain per month in the winter), with many parks and attractions closing for the off-season. Large crowds aren’t really a concern in warmer months, however, there are natural hazards active in the season (such as black bears and ticks).
