Fisherman will appreciate that the Kendall Fish Hatchery is a neighbor to our campsite and 3 C’s wedding and event venue is less than 1/4 mile away!
Some of the many activities you might enjoy while staying here are fishing, eagle watching, hiking, camp fires, stargazing, and just being in nature to rejuvenate and relax. There are also many things to do nearby! We are less than a quarter mile from the North Fork brewery and 3 C’s wedding and event venue. We are 45 minutes from the Mount Baker ski Lodge and 9 miles away from the town of glacier.

We strive to provide a place to enjoy the peace & quiet of nature, so it's not a place to party or have music loud enough for any neighbours to hear.
Nestled in the heart of the Tamihi Recreational Area, just 20 minutes from town, our property offers a rare blend of seclusion and adventure. Surrounded on three sides by lush, moss-draped forest and bordered on the fourth by the stunning Chilliwack River, it’s a true nature lover’s paradise.
Enjoy a spacious riverside beach, great for swimming during the summer and fall & has world-class fishing. The area features Class I–IV rapids, ideal for whitewater kayaking, with Chilliwack River Rafting just minutes away.
There isn't river access at the sites. The stairs to the beach are through the covered picnic shelter. There is now a light wire fence along the river in riverfront sites for some protection because of the drop-off & undercut banks (not shown in the pictures).
We have an endless network of trails and logging roads, perfect for ATVs (ride directly out of our gate), hiking, and biking. Whether you’re seeking adrenaline or tranquility, this property offers both.
ATV's are idle in - idle out only.
QUIET, well-mannered, leashed pets are welcome if you pick up after them.
LONG WEEKENDS are a minimum of 3 nights.
CHILDREN MUST be accompanied by a parent at all times!
FIREWOOD is $9. for a large feed bag full & is available between 8 AM and 8 PM.
BEEF and EGGS: We have grass-fed Black Angus beef for sale and we occasionally have eggs from our pastured chickens.
Our free-range kind, gentle horses also wander the property. Any interactions with them are at your own risk! The gate must be kept closed because of them.

Nestled in the pristine Nahatlatch Valley between the Nahatlatch River and Fraser River. Washtock Family Campground offers rustic camping from tents to RVs. We are an ATV friendly campground with ride in ride out accessibility.
The campground offers pull through RV Sites with non-potable water and septic connections. We are off grid so we have no power/electricity connections but allow generators.
We have space for big groups or just a quick get away for two, we can accommodate you.
We have flush toilets and outhouses as well as a hot shower for guest use.
We have a small store on site with your regular camping goodies, Ice, seasonal vegetable, as well as farm fresh eggs and all natural free range beef from our farm.
We are located 13km north of Northbend which is across the river from Boston Bar BC. Once you reach Boston Bar you will Turn left at the Esso and cross 2 sets of railroad tracks bringing you into Northbend, from Northbend there is about 6km of paved road after that there is 6km of gravel road until you reach our campground.
Past our campground is the beautiful Nahatlatch provincial Park which contains Francis lake, Hanna Lake and Nahatlatch Lake. The lakes offer an abundance of activities such as fishing, kayaking, canoeing, swimming and paddle boarding. The first lake is about a 15-20 min drive again on gravel road. 2 wheel drive accessible until 21km on the forest service Road after 21km you will need a 4x4, if you plan to travel to Grizzly falls or the 3rd Lake.
There are many hiking, biking, horseback riding and ATVing trails in the area.

Secluded river haven nestled on the west bank of the glacially fed North Fork of the Nooksack river, this peaceful property sits directly on the river bank surrounded by wildlife and nature. Big leaf maple trees provide shade throughout the day. Resident bald eagles, the occasional brown eagle, blue heron, trout, owls, beavers and all five species of native salmon are a few potential wildlife encounters. Every morning provides a symphony of song birds welcoming the rising sun with a good chance of sharing the river with bald eagles and blue herons. Secluded river haven nestled on the west bank of the glacially fed North Fork of the Nooksack river, this peaceful property sits directly on the river bank surrounded by wildlife and nature. Big leaf maple trees provide shade throughout the day. Resident bald eagles, the occasional brown eagle, blue heron, trout, owls, beavers and all five species of native salmon are a few potential wildlife encounters. Various types of edible berries including salmonberries, thimbleberries, elderberries, mountain blackberries, huckleberries and of course blackberries. Every morning provides a symphony of song birds welcoming the rising sun with a good chance of sharing the river with bald eagles and blue herons. Beautiful sunrises overlooking the North Fork and pink alpenglow over slide mountain with the setting sun. 30 minutes from Bellingham bay, 30 minutes from Mount Baker ski area and extensive hiking trails and mountain lakes, 30 minutes from the Canadian border, 45 minutes from North Cascades National Park. The North Fork Brewery is a 2 minute drive north for great food and beer. Multiple grocery stores within 10 minutes. Activities include fishing, swimming, kayaking, rafting, photography, bird watching, sunbathing, earthing, yoga or just relaxing by the fire watching the river.

Amenities include: Clean (new) porta-potty, hand washing station, access to electricity and fresh water spigot / hose, high speed wireless internet.
Driveway exactly at mile marker 20 on the right if you're travelling north (river side) - see site photos for picture of driveway entrance. Shared driveway with neighbor - everything on the left hand side of the driveway as you enter is NOT our property (no trespassing). Please drive slowly, and use EXTREME caution when leaving - very limited line of sight around the corner and traffic is moving fast!

Everything! Heathers communication was exceptional. She was very welcoming & an excellent host .Site was easy to locate & situated where I wanted to be. Site was very clean w/ nice fire pit, picnic tales and as other reviewers have mentioned...immaculate.... if one can say that... portapoty. Would definitely stay here again. :)

Great private spot! The beach access was easy to get to! However it was very inconvenient that there was no outhouses to use and we had to bring our own toilets. Also was not given any direction to dispose of our waste when it was full, so had to haul it out. Lastly the outhouse was right outside our site and we kept getting wafts of outhouse smell… was not pleasant.

I parked my trailer looking at the mountains and it felt very private. The bathroom access was a nice bonus and Heather was generous and thoughtful. A perfect sport for proximity to some hiking at Mt. Baker.

Location was excellent. Listing described it perfectly. We stayed in site 6. One neighbor to one side of us. Close to the bathrooms and hot showers! We got to pet the cows. Cheryl was friendly and answered our questions with ease. We will definitely spend another weekend here!

As other reviews said, if you stay at the tent site you will hear road noise. I was primed for this, so it didn't bother me. Reg's place was absolutely perfect for a quick spot to car camp before heading back home from exploring Baker. He and his partner Amanda were very communicative and kind. The property is clean and charming and I can tell they both have a lot of pride in it. I will definitely come back, next time to hopefully rent a cabin. Thanks again for opening your special space to others!

We had an amazing stay at Squatch Glen and can’t recommend it enough. Our host Cheryl, made us feel genuinely welcomed. She’s friendly, attentive, and clearly takes pride in the space she’s created.
The campsites are clean, level, and thoughtfully laid out. While you can see neighboring sites, they’re spaced far enough apart to maintain a sense of privacy, which we really appreciated.
Amenities here are top-notch for a rustic getaway. Each site comes with a table and clean drinking water, which was super convenient. The portapotty was impressively clean, and the shower stalls had hot water and were well-maintained, definitely a step above typical campground standards.
Overall, Squatch Glen strikes a great balance between comfort and nature. Whether you’re a seasoned camper or just dipping your toes into the outdoors, this spot is worth checking out.
We’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful area with plenty of open space to run a dog or toss a football. Cleanest port-a-potties I’ve ever seen, so nice. Nice access to the river near site 1, which is a nice little cold plunge. Highly recommend if in the area!

camped in hammocks here and our booking didnt have enough trees so they let us switch to a spot that accommodated us better :)
fresh produce in their store off of their farm and all the other things you need to camp. this campsite was incredible
the views were amazing and theres a trail behind that goes for miles
