Come discover our peaceful farm sanctuary located in Ashton Creek, 10 minutes east of Enderby. Experience the famous Shuswap River "float" which is only a 5 minute walk to the Baxter bridge boat launch, park and community hall. The Ashton Creek convenience store and gas station has all your basic camping needs including ATV gas and propane (also a 5 minute walk). Access to hiking trails including a unique water fall nearby. Mabel Lake Resort, boat launch and Golf Club is a short 20 minute drive. Camping at Olich Creek Farm is unique and family friendly. Most of our rescued farm animals roam the property freely and absolutely love human visitors. Families with children will also enjoy the natural play areas the farm offers including a shallow creek and visits with our chickens and ducks. Your dogs or other small pets are permitted in the camping areas only as our herd is terrified of dogs. There is another large area (about 5 acres) where well-behaved dogs can run off leash. We have one RV site with septic, water and 50 Amp power and can fit a 40 foot unit and 2 totally private tent sites. There is a full washroom with tub/shower, toilet and wifi access in our old farmhouse which is complimentary during your stay. Should you find that your desired dates are already booked, please reach out to us as we may have a back up spot available. Please keep in mind we are an organic farm homestead that offers an agritourism experience. We are not a manicured campground :) Your camping fees go directly to support our aging farm animals and horses.

Heads up: Being right off Hwy 1 means it can get noisy with traffic sometimes. If you're a light sleeper, just a heads up. Here, you’ll see chickens, geese, goats, sheep, and two friendly farm dogs roaming around. The dogs can be a bit rambunctious at first—our white pup is still full of energy, while the black dog is older and more chill. Both are harmless and love making new friends. There’s always something going on—we’re a working farm, so it’s a little rustic and a lot authentic. This isn’t a Pinterest-perfect farm — it’s real, with imperfections and a work in progress. We can only accommodate fully contained units at this time. You’re just 5 minutes by car from Canoe Beach and downtown Salmon Arm, and only a 5-minute walk to Setters Pub and Northyards Cidery if you want to keep it local. If you're looking for more options, we're happy to share some recommendations! What else? • Propane fire pit and tank rental: $45 per stay, with refills available for $40. • Tent rental: We have a 2-person tent for $20 if you want it for your stay. Please pack it up when you leave, and let us know if anything gets damaged. • Campfires: We’re allowed one campfire on the property at a time (local regs), so if someone’s already there, don’t be shy — it’s communal. Chris was a very friendly host; we booked last minute but he was able to accommodate us and was very welcoming. The sign for the campsite was a little tricky to find in the dark, but I’m sure during the day this would be easier. We enjoyed the outdoor shower too!

We loved the camping there! The two hosts were super nice people and we ended up chatting quite a while while they showed us around. The campsite is very nice too: the pit toilet has a water bucket to wash hands and soap. Each campsite has a picknick table. There was only one other guest that night, so it was relatively privat. Would absolutely recommend.

Weekend Trip to 4D Creek Ranch

Beautiful, peaceful setting, lovely view from the kitchen area. We enjoyed seeing/hearing the cows and sheep and some wild deer that wandered through. Bonus was hearing the coyotes singing at night. The common area kitchen area was set up very nicely. We enjoyed sitting at the picnic table playing games and having our meal there. Deanne generously let us stay in the yurt at site 5, though we had only reserved for a tent site. The campground is still a little rough around the edges, however. That’s understandable since this is their first year. They are still installing a horseshoe pitch and doing more landscaping. Right now it is not so great for tenting — no grassy spots to pitch a tent. And the common area is just bare dirt ground. But I’m sure it will be all nicely set up for next season. I would recommend this place.

Wonderful first time Hipcamp experience. I was solo camping at the Cow Pasture View site, and loved interacting with all the animals roaming around. My site had trees for shade, very quiet, and super convenient to the washroom and shower. Heather and her mom were very relaxed and welcoming; would love to come again.😍
