It IS rustic , and the bathroom is a little walk away, and it’s a work in progress but it’s quiet, peaceful and a horse and goats have your view. Thank you Michael

Love the micro-cabin. It is very compact and thoughtfully designed. We enjoyed the firepit and kitchen. Kito was very healpful and even provided us with extra heater. The water in the outdoor shower is very cold so it could be improved. But im sure that Kito will immediately fix it if you message him. We didnt need to use it during that time so it wasnt a problem for us. Overall, it is a nice place and very private. We also enjoyed the trail.

We had an amazing stay at Michael’s place! The cabin and the bathroom were super clean and well maintained, which made our stay very comfortable. The whole property is peaceful, surrounded by beautiful nature, and you can really feel the care and love put into every detail. Michael was such a kind and helpful host — friendly, responsive, and always making sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting by the fire at night, watching the stars, and just relaxing in the quiet atmosphere. It was the perfect getaway from the city, and we’ll definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

1 night at Lakewood Cabins
This was a pretty great little spot. The cabin is small, but it had a good setup with a hotplate, sink, fridge, & microwave. There was a big very comfortable mattress in the loft. The bathroom wasn’t too far away across the parking area and it was well maintained, with a flush toilet and a sink. Everything during my stay was very clean.
I walked down to the lake, and it was about 10 minutes on a nice trail through the woods which meets up with the main road just before the lake. Property has a horse, goats and other animals. It’s quite a nice place, the host was very friendly and I will definitely be back in the summer.

2 nights at Tiny Secrets Farm & Retreat
I would recommend for my low maintenance friends as the pee toilet in the cabin is a separate room with a seat, however is a 20gallon paint bucket that you do have to clean. This didn’t bother me, but may bother some.
I didn’t shower when I stayed because the shower was very dirty and full of garbage from previous guests. The compost toilet is clean and right around the corner from the cabin.
There are workers/helpers/younger (quiet) crew who live on site and are very helpful and wonderful.
I loved staying here and will be back.
My only concern was the lack of cleanliness of the shower. I’ve posted an updated photo.

We loved staying in the micro cabin! It was cozy, comfortable and had everything we needed. The property is beautiful and incredibly quiet. The groundskeeper (Dan) always made sure we had what we needed and we had some great chats with him. If you’re someone who enjoys being outside, you’ll love this spot.

Love this little micro cabin! It was well stocked with everything one could need and oh so cozy. The loft is so fun (gets a little warm at times) and the multi directional windows are great for letting a breeze through.
The compost toilet isn’t my favourite but I am grateful for a warm shower (it’s a little inconsistent but it’s not cold!)
Dan the groundskeeper and Kito and Karen are all lovely and leave you to relax but are readily available should you need anything. Very kind and receptive hosts.
Looking forward to returning one day ☺️

We loved the Peacock Microcabin! It was decorated on theme and had everything we needed. Karen responded to our questions very quickly. The shower was surprisingly warm and comfortable to use. We had privacy from the other sites and enjoyed sitting on the porch, at the outdoor dining set and around the fire pit. - R

Beautiful camp ground! We stayed in the micro peacock cabin and it had everything we needed. There was a group of us that stayed in the tents and other cabins. We brought our dog with us. The hosts were very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. At night we had a campfire, beautiful spot and well maintained. Not too far from Sechelt but far enough away that it is relaxing and quiet.

I absolutely loved this cozy cabin. It had everything needed to cook and feel comfortable. I loved the big windows which made me feel immersed in the woods. The property itself is thoughtfully designed and environmentally conscious. Kito and Amos were great hosts - super communicative and welcoming. I would definitely stay again and have already recommended this place to friends.

What a beautiful spot! The cabin was cozy for my family of 4 and a dog but was a great “in between” camping and an Airbnb. So many thoughtful touches the kitchen really has everything you need. The facilities were clean and shower water hot! We hiked every day with the Smugglers Cove a big hit. Truly a magically little area of BC. We will be back!

I cannot express enough how special my stay at Karen and Kito's Tiny Secrets Farm & Retreat was. The Cabin's are unique and very well designed for comfort, fun features and a joy to stay in with windows all around for viewing the forest. The Micro cabin was a cozy, healing space for me with environmentally respectful features such as rainwater collection for the sink and water filter, compost for food scraps and compost outhouse. The layout of the farm's cabins and tent sites is sensitive to the natural layout of the land and creative touches are everywhere. I am definitely coming back again for a beautiful and restful stay. Thank you Karen and Kito.
