The cabin was cute and cozy, with a warm indoor stove to keep the place warm. Lots of space with one mains bed and two small beds up top. We were there in October and we had the area to ourselves which was great, but it seemed the camping spot and Teepee were quite close to the cabin.

Jan and Ryan were such great hosts :). I’m super glad I picked this spot, they even let me have the bigger site than what I booked as I was the only one there. The views were gorgeous, I even saw the stars :). The day I was leaving my car wouldn’t start and Jan was so generous to search all over for his jumper cables even while he was in the middle of moving.. so kind!!! Will definitely go back :).

We were a group of 6 in 2 camper vans and a truck tent and the site by the gazebo was great. We enjoyed the views and got to wake up to horses grazing in the pasture. There was lots of space, it was flat, and there was a campfire ring right there. Good group camping spot. Ken was also so friendly and helpful. Such a great host. Charlie (the dog) came to visit as well, so we got to enjoy his company each day too. Would definitely stay here again!

Weekend Trip to Holmwood Farm
Very relaxing and peaceful campground we enjoyed it quite a lot and also there were no mosquitoes so that was a bonus. The sheep were fun to see and Gillian’s very cute and friendly. We also enjoyed the coyote chorus each evening! Gillian gave me a ride up to her place on her ATV to fill my water container too. We would stay there again for sure!

Welcome to Lovage Lane Farm! We’re excited to open up our working hobby farm for you to enjoy. This isn’t your typical campsite—it’s our home and farm on 10 acres right off the Trans-Canada Highway. Heads up: Being right off Hwy 1 means it can get noisy with traffic sometimes. If you're a light sleeper, just a heads up. Here, you’ll see chickens, geese, goats, sheep, and two friendly farm dogs roaming around. The dogs can be a bit rambunctious at first—our white pup is still full of energy, while the black dog is older and more chill. Both are harmless and love making new friends. There’s always something going on—we’re a working farm, so it’s a little rustic and a lot authentic. This isn’t a Pinterest-perfect farm — it’s real, with imperfections and a work in progress. We can only accommodate fully contained units at this time. You’re just 5 minutes by car from Canoe Beach and downtown Salmon Arm, and only a 5-minute walk to Setters Pub and Northyards Cidery if you want to keep it local. If you're looking for more options, we're happy to share some recommendations! What else? • Propane fire pit and tank rental: $45 per stay, with refills available for $40. • Tent rental: We have a 2-person tent for $20 if you want it for your stay. Please pack it up when you leave, and let us know if anything gets damaged. • Campfires: We’re allowed one campfire on the property at a time (local regs), so if someone’s already there, don’t be shy — it’s communal. Share the space and enjoy yourself. • Mosquitoes: They’re part of the package—bring bug spray! • Bats: You might see some flying around at night—nature’s little helpers. We’re still growing and improving the farm, so if you notice anything broken or off, please let us know so we can fix it quickly. If you need anything, have questions, or just want to say hi, message us or knock on the door anytime. We’re here to help however we can. Nestled in the woods, our site provides a shady escape from the 30-40 degrees Celcius summer Okanagan heat. Cross the bridge into your own private Oasis. Trees are shelter and homes to various birds. Pitch your tent in an open space at the base of the mountain. Relax on the deck of our Cottage and take in the fresh air whilst listening to the song birds. Located off Highway 6, a 10 minute drive to colourful Kalamalka Lake which boasts of sandy beaches and gorgeous hikes, and a 6 minute drive to beautiful Lavington Park with a playground, off leash dog park and free public swimming pool access during July and August. Walk down the path to your own private creek access, bring a book and relax in a chair by the water and take a dip in the refreshing creek. Note: This site is not accessible by car. You will need to park in front of the bridge, wagons are provided. If lots of rain is forecasted please bring tarps, there are plenty of trees nearby to devote too.
