Our 160-acre regenerative agriculture family farm came to be in May of 2021. After previously homesteading on a humble 1-acre property our family had dreams of owning more land where we could establish a farm to call home for many years to come and farm in ways that would be sustainable for generations to follow.
Upon first look, the heart and soul that the original owners poured into this property shone like the sun glaring on the water of the river. We knew this was the perfect place to call home for our growing family, and a place so beautiful we could not wait to share it with others.

Prairie Creek flows directly along the ranch. Depending on water levels, guests can swim, relax by the shore, or fish with a valid Alberta fishing permit. Canoeing is also possible under suitable conditions. Hiking trails begin right on the property and lead through wooded areas and open clearings.
Wildlife is naturally part of the surroundings. With a bit of luck, you may spot deer, elk, coyotes, beavers, wild geese, and occasionally even a puma in the distance. The ranch is not a resort but a genuine piece of nature—authentic and untouched.
Our sled dogs live here at Rocky Wolf Ranch. Guided sled dog experiences can be booked in both summer and winter. Guests learn about the history, breeding, training, and daily life of these remarkable dogs. In winter, dog sledding programs are offered depending on snow conditions. In summer, kennel visits, informative experiences, or hikes with the dogs are available.
In addition, we offer archery and simple outdoor activities for families. Children especially enjoy small discovery adventures through the forest, searching for animal tracks, or having a picnic in an idyllic clearing.
If you are looking for luxury and urban comfort, this is not the place for you. If you appreciate nature, animals, fresh air, and an authentic ranch atmosphere, you will feel at home here.

Our 144-acre property borders the North Saskatchewan River. We have beautiful, peaceful trails and meadows throughout the property and along the river. Bring your camper, your dog, and even your horse, and enjoy walking or horseback riding on our trails.
Fish from the bank of the North Saskatchewan River (when in season) or relax by a campfire. Wake up early to see our amazing sunrises or stay up late to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. The evening skies are filled with stars, and sometimes you can even see the Aurora Borealis.
We raise historic Scottish Highland cattle as well as historic Brahma chickens, and of course, every ranch has a herd of horses.
If you'd like to get a closer look at our livestock, we offer guided tours, guided horseback trail rides, and river cruises in our small motorized fishing boat for $50. We are very busy, so please book in advance.

The sunsets by the fire are incredible!
I would recommend, because the property is south facing, that you may want to plan your spot based on how much sun you want.
Lots of cows, deer, pocket gophers, and ground squirrels to spot while you relax in the peace and quiet.

It was so nice and peaceful, super quiet aside from the cows and the odd wild animals off in the distance. It was my first time camping ever and it was so much fun, the views were incredible and the property is beautiful and well kept. It was hot and sunny during the daytime and got pretty chilly overnight but with the blankets and sleeping bags we had it wasn’t cold at all. Thank you so much Scott! We would definitely come back to enjoy this spot again. :)

Weekend Trip to Secluded Cliffside Paradise
This was the perfect spot for us to set up after a long day travelling from Banff and Lake Louise. The view was breathtaking, our dog Remi loved the freedom to run around the huge yard.
