This place was an amazing spot. We booked it with very little advance time, as we were driving to escape terrible weather in our other (Hipcamp) booking, a few hours away. As soon as we arrived, we realized what an amazing location this was. We arrived late in the season, so we had the whole zone to ourselves. Private & secluded, yet with awesome views of the nearby mountains. We took a couple of cold plunges in Gladstone Creek - amazing. The facilities are complete and well maintained. It's obvious that care, expense and effort have been taken to assure that the experience is unforgettable. Small enough to be intimate, yet the infrastructure is completely dialled, rivalling any larger RV type resort. The host was available, respectful and well organized. Very highly recommended A++++

I think they’ve got a good start on things, but it definitely needs some refinement. I’ve shared my feedback privately with Corey, and hopefully he takes it into consideration for future reservations. At this time I do feel it should have been priced lower based on my experience

So quiet and secluded!

Property was beautiful, quiet, secluded. Once we figured out where the wood, water, etc was…. It was absolutely amazing. We loved the cool morning dips and refreshing baths at the end of a long hiking day. No wifi was a treat. The horses that roam the 1/4 section, were an added bonus. The campsite is about 20 mins from Pincher, hit up The Collective Boutique (sales in the back) and definitely The Nut Cafe for Americano and wifi, if needed.

This is in a beautiful location, about one hour from Waterton Lakes National Park. The site was very private and directions to the site were excellent. The instructions say to call when you arrive to obtain a code, but we had three phones with different providers and none of us had any cellular coverage at the site. Besides it wasn’t clear why we needed a code. We never met the host. Sites are not marked, so even though we were supposed to stay in a designated site we simply chose the best available. There was 30 amp service in some, but not all sites. The pit toilet was smelly, but relatively clean. The door did not completely close, with about a 2.5 cm gap. The screen covering the small initial carved into the side was missing so a bird had made a nest inside with at least one baby. The mother traumatized our two granddaughters to the point that they refused to use it. The first day we were there there was no toilet paper. There is a beautiful stream next to the campsite, but the host built a camping site at the base of the access trail so you couldn’t get to the river without disturbing the campers.

GREAT Spot

The land the sites are on as well as the surrounding area are beautiful. The grounds were well kept and felt secluded thanks to being in a valley surrounded by lots of trees and it was great to fall asleep to the sound of Gladstone Creek every night. All of us were sad to head back to reality, including our dog, at the end of the trip. Good communication from Corey throughout and met him while we were at site. This location is bookmarked for sure.

Pros: -Creek running through the property -Reliable power -Quiet (but we were also the only ones there) -Beautiful views and wildlife -Lots to explore -Easy location and good directions -Communicative and friendly host -Access to the creek from multiple locations -Lots of trees and vegetation Cons: -Sites are close together with very little privacy and fire pits are shared (we weren’t affected by this because none of the other sites were occupied but it may not be great for those seeking seclusion when it’s fully booked) -Some building materials and debris around campsites - First come first serve despite selecting a site on the booking Overall, you can tell the care that is taken with the property, we enjoyed our weekend and would return outside of the busy season. Thanks for having us.

Beautiful place to get away from

We had a fantastic weekend staying at this site while visiting the Waterton area. Would highly recommend if you want some quiet time getting away from it all! Site is lovely & green, with a good mix of sun & shade, and views of the mountains. Our dogs loved cooling off in the clean, cold creek too. We got a visit from the pack of horses one evening, just quietly grazing at the very far end of the campsite. All in all a fantastic weekend. Thanks to Corey and Deanna for sharing this beautiful plot of land!

Heaven on earth

It was my first time camping and it will be my most memorable stay Corey is a great host, she posted all the instructions on how to arrive at the site in advance. There are 4 sites but when we arrived there were no other campers which made our trip more adventurous We stayed at site #1, the bed is comfy and the view early morning is breathtaking Please take the woods bundle pack from Corey. It will be cheaper for you and you can use as much as you can

The site was super cute and welcoming! The tent and bed were super spacious and comfortable. There are fire pits scattered around the site and they even have one down near the creek with chairs and fairy lights! Absolutely delightful stay and my boyfriend loved it for his surprise gift!

This was so lovely! The tents are clean and tidy, and very cozy and warm. The bed and bedding were toasty and comfy. The land was beautiful and the small creek was so refreshing. The outhouse was very tidy and nicely organized, but a bit smellier: it was right after a long weekend, so no surprises after lots of use! It can be a bit tricky to find in the dark and there’s no GPS, so be sure to read the detailed directions very closely BEFORE you lose service, unlike me 😅 Overall, a lovely little getaway space, peaceful and remote, but close to town for needs, and just a quick drive to Waterton. I also found the host very helpful and responsive which ruled :)

Unfortunately, not a good experience at all. - The campground is first come first serve, which is not indicated anywhere. The host mentioned this a couple days before our arrival, when it’s too late to cancel or make other plans. - There’re two spots with picnic tables, both were occupied when we arrived. The site we ‘reserved’ through hipcamp was occupied. The host allowed us to stay in a different area, it has a picnic table and a fire pit, but is located next to his friend’s 3 trailers. - The next evening that friend came and told us to move our tent and stop using the picnic table. We ended up moving our camp to the middle of the field. - When confronted the host repeatedly mentioned he has 83 acres and we can camp anywhere. Which is fine, but it’s not what I paid for. If I wanted to stay in the middle of nowhere with no amenities I would camp on public land for free. - The host also isn’t available nearby to help fix any issues. Every problem needs to he solved by phone, but there’s no connection. This place could have been lovely if: - the host was upfront about the sites being first come first serve, I just wouldn’t book it in that case, but it might work for some people. - site description should be truthful, if there isn’t a picnic table on every site - just don’t list it in the description. There are many listings on hipcamp that clearly show you’ll be camping in the middle of nowhere, and at least this way you know what to expect.

Great for a big group! Private!

Use two families loved this spot! Its great for a big group! We loved the back woods, private feel. The creek is amazing to sit in on the sunny days, so close you can hear the stream from our campers! We bought fire wood and there was lots there which was so handy. The porta-potty was kept clean as well! It was great to how power hook ups and pottable water. We had two big trailers (toyhaulers), which were a little sketchy to drive in on the dirt road because its so narrow, windy and downhill but it is definitely doable just something to keep in mind. No service in the site but you can drive 5min back down the road to get some and you can also purchase wifi. Overall a great site for 5 days to relax and be with nature! We had so much fun and would definitely come back!
