What a spot! What a better host!
We were passing through Drumheller on our road trip journey and found this place. Great spot for us to pitch a tent for the night. The 16x16 pad had hooks built in to tie your tent down. The ostrich and emus were so fun to interact with. What personalities. We got the chance to get to know Michael and what a great soul! Lastly, the views were amazing. I couldn't stop staring. We went for a little hike around and it was like having our own private park. Id be back again.

Great communication with Bonnie & Hubbie 🤣😂 felt at home with our Emu neighbours & the ostrich too, Loved the Lying Lady .. Gaia & the peace & serenity …. Thank you for the opportunity to stay in your little patch of paradise … the badlands were awesome 🙌
Beautiful spot. Very welcoming when we got there. Our daughter loved looking at the goddess in the hills, it reminded us of Tefiti from Moana. The ostriches and emus were amusing as well. This was a stopover for us coming back toward Calgary from Camrose so we could go to the museum in the morning. Great option away from the overcrowded campgrounds.

Great choice if you have kids! The owner was awesome with our kids and gave them backgrounds on the emus and his ostrich. He let the kids feed them and we were also able to explore part of their property. If you electronics happy kids and want to get them outside instead then this place is perfect.

This place is right at the foot of the Drumheller cliffs - spectacular views. Hosts were super, great communication and lots of great recommendations for the area. Close to everything. Loved it!

The land is absolutely beautiful! Great communication and flexibility, we loved it and would be happy to stay again next time we are in the area
My friend and I enjoyed staying at Bonnie’s campsite. Beautiful location and the company of their curious ostrich and emus was entertaining. They were thoughtful enough to mow the grass and have tables and chairs accessible for the site. Definitely bring bug spray!

We had a fantastic stay here at the Raptor Valley Farm! The spot is beautiful right in the valley and there are so many fun things to do in the area in and around Drumheller. Lots to explore on the property itself with the Ostrich and emu's right by the campsite and the old coal mine remnants! the host's are very friendly and made us feel very welcome! Bring mosquito spray!

For the amount paid, it would be nice for the long grass to be a little more trimmed around the site, and for the outhouse to be better maintained. We avoided using the bucket and seat. Please change the bucket more often.
Mike was kind and interesting, but we did not enjoy this stop as much as we would have liked. Tons of mosquitoes, which the host did warn about.

This location was perfect for our overnight stay to visit the Royal Tyrell Museum. It’s a straight shot across the river, but about a 15 minute drive to get over the bridge. The hosts were very kind and helpful, but the site itself wasn’t ideal as the actual sites were on an angle and pretty soft from the recent moisture. Part of the road had washed out so I needed to camp with my small camper on the road so I could get out safely. The “facilities” were very rustic. It was however very cool to have the animals to check out on the farm and having a strong view of the valley.

Great place to camp, close to all the major attractions. Clean, nicely laid out camp site, with an ostrich and two Emus for neighbours. Mike and Bonnie were super friendly hosts! Hope to be back soon!

Host Bonnie was very responsive and welcoming! She introduced us to the emus and ostrich, a real charm! The landscape was also amazing, and well situated (15 min from royal tyrell museum, less than 10 min from drumheller city center, 15 min to horseshoe canyon). The only thing that made it a bit less than ideal was the fact that mosquitoes were everywhere...this made us want to get out of there as fast as possible instead of enjoying the area.

It was a really nice place to camp nice and quiet and peaceful, really pretty site of the badlands.
Bonnie and Michael are such an amazing host! They are very accommodating and patient with us. We really enjoyed our stay in their property. It’s very peaceful and we felt very safe at night. They are nice enough to let us feed the emus in the morning. Highly recommend this place and please do respect the place and host when you came visit so we don’t lose a gem like this.

Great campsite in a peaceful area, less than a ten minutes drive from drumheller. The hosts are really sweet and showed us their birds (ostrich and emus). The surroundings are beautiful and you also have horses as neighbours.
Would totally recommend this place !
It was a fun Visit basically got to see a dinosaur every day they had ostrich and some emus very fun place to stay

Camping on Bonnie’s land was such a cool experience! She and Mike were kind and welcoming. Bonnie answered any questions we had while planning our trip. Mike had some great suggestions for places to see in the area. We camp in Drumheller once a year, and this is so much better than the crowded, noisy campgrounds we’ve stayed at before. The location is very convenient. The view is beautiful, especially at sunset. The emus are right across from the tent pad and don’t make any noticeable noise or smells. The site is not super far from the road, so you may hear the occasional car in the distance. But the land around the tent pad grows nice and wild, so it feels very private with the shrubs and grasses on all sides. Our tent is 16’x9’. That’s probably the max (lengthwise) that will fit on the tent pad, but we had plenty of space in front (widthwise). Mike showed us some fossils when we went to visit the birds, and we got to watch the animals getting fed. Highly recommended for adults and children alike!

1966 Golden Falcon Charmer!
The main host was ill when we were there, so her husband was our contact and he was very pleasant. However, there were many things that needed to be done to make our stay more welcoming. The screens had holes (and mosquitos appeared each night), the bathroom no light, the sheets had holes, mouse poop was in the drawers, and the kitchen no cooking pot or coffee making option. This can all be rectified. Also, because this is a hot area, it would be helpful if the ice box was ready when guests arrived.
The bed is narrower then a double, and the bathroom ceiling is low, so I would not recommend this camper to tall people, as they will not fit. (I was okay at 5'8").

This place is the most wholesome!
Bonnie and Mike are 🌈 accepting, gentle, and friendly folks who are so passionate about the land and their sanctuary of birds. We had a great time here. The location beats any of the campgrounds in Drumheller and while the amenities are not amazing (no picnic table, pump water, buggy outhouse), the experience as a whole is well worth the stay if you're self sufficient. Thanks again for the welcome, the chats, the tour, and the kindness. We'd love to return next time we come though!

I had a lovely time camping on Bonnie's land. She was very welcoming and showed me all of the birds that she rescues. The spot itself is very nice, it was great being able to pitch the tent on the wooden platform.
Bonnie’s land was nothing short of breathtaking! The views from morning, noon and night were post card worthy. I cannot thank the hosts enough for their hospitality and willingness to share their love for their home and unique animals! I would love to return again someday day and I would recommend anyone camping in a tent to stay here for a unique camping experience! Thanks again for everything!
